Living in Canary Wharf offers a dynamic urban experience. The area boasts a plethora of upscale restaurants and trendy bars, providing diverse dining and nightlife options. Transport is highly convenient with the Jubilee Line, DLR, and upcoming Elizabeth Line ensuring swift connections across the city. The district is clean, modern, and safe, with ample green spaces and waterfront views. Shopping and amenities are abundant, making daily life easy and enjoyable. However, it can feel a bit corporate! Overall, Canary Wharf is perfect for professionals seeking a vibrant, well-connected, and upscale living environment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, very prompt with all maintenance issues. The building management has consistently shown excellent responsiveness to problems raised by residents. They handle maintenance requests efficiently and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a comfortable living experience. This proactive approach by the management adds significant value to the overall resident experience.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One aspect to consider about living here that might not be evident during a viewing is the windiness of the area. Due to the high-rise buildings and proximity to the water, the wind can be quite strong, making outdoor activities less pleasant at times and potentially affecting balcony use. It's something residents often notice only after moving in.

Canary Wharf is a very nice, new, safe and convienient area of London to live in - can't complain. Transport links are easy to get to. Everything is clean. Parking is non-existent.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Some aspects they've been very good about and others they haven't really fixed an issue.

Canary Wharf is a great area to live from all aspects. I have been living there for the last 9 years and I have nothing to complain about.

There are windy conditions quite often, especially where Newfoundland is located.

Many good things about living in canary wharf, easily accessible to many shops and restaurants with nice views and atmosphere. As for the bad I would say how busy it gets during rush hour

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The one main issue I hav raised was about the sports subscriptions running out on the TV in the lounge and repeatedly I asked for weeks for them to fix it and it took them over a month to just pay for the subscription

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I knew about the events they release every month because that’s the best way to meet people in the building because outside of that it’s hard to know your neighbors

While the 10-minute walk to Canary Wharf might feel a bit isolated for some, many residents find it a manageable distance. However, we understand that convenience is crucial, and we are continuously exploring ways to enhance accessibility and connectivity. We’re pleased to inform you that a new bridge has been added to shorten the walk to the main part of the Estate, and another bridge is under construction. Additionally, we’re excited about the work Canary Wharf Group is doing in partnership with the Eden Project to increase biodiversity in the waterways, which will be directly accessible from Newfoundland. Regarding the restaurant and café on the first floor, we apologize for the inconvenience. We are actively working on securing a suitable tenant to open these spaces as soon as possible to provide more amenities for our residents. Your comments about the gym are noted, and we will review our equipment to ensure it meets the needs of our community. We aim to provide high-quality facilities and appreciate your input on where we can improve. We're really sorry for the various issues you have encountered in the building. These disruptions are regrettable, and while we sometimes need to instruct external contractors to resolve such matters, we are continuously working to improve our communication to keep residents updated. The location is pretty perfect, right in the middle of 3 major lines, security everywhere so it’s really safe and convenient. I love the amount of shops that are opening up, there is something for everyone.

They are very quick to respond and accommodating and supportive
