Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area offers a good balance of convenience and quick access to the countryside. There are several supermarkets, independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants within a short walk, with larger shopping centres easily accessible nearby. There are plenty of green spaces, walking routes and parks, making it ideal for outdoor activities. Public transport is very close, with regular train services and good road links to the motorway network. The area feels very safe and friendly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

On the few occasions I've needed to report an issue, the building management has responded promptly and professionally. Communication has been excellent, updates have been provided throughout, and any maintenance work has been completed efficiently with minimal disruption.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known just how much the communal facilities would add to the overall living experience. The shared spaces, gym and resident events really help create a sense of community, and the location makes it easy to enjoy everything Leeds city centre has to offer without needing a car. My tip for new residents would be to make full use of the amenities they're one of the best aspects of living at Mustard Wharf.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s a lovely area to live in, with plenty of great restaurants, pubs, bars and cafés just a few minutes away. It feels social and welcoming without being noisy, and there’s a real sense of community. Being right by the canal is a huge bonus too, especially in the summer when the area feels particularly beautiful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management always responds promptly to emails and queries. They are also usually available at reception, making it easy to get quick answers whenever needed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The trains can sometimes be a little loud. Personally, I haven’t found it bothersome, and it quickly became something I barely noticed.

Modern, professional living on the edge of the city

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Extremely well placed just on the edge of the city so you're away from busy centre, but still have the convenience of nearby shops, the train station and links to the ring road and motorway making it extremely accessible. I've been to a few of the local bars which are all really nice and the sainsburys in the station and the tesco at Bridgewater place are great for bits. Other residents are polite and welcoming, I've not heard of any noise or neighbour complaints, it really has a good feel for it. I'm yet to join an event hosted by the team here, but hoping to get to one soon. I feel safe in the development and it's surrounding area. The trains are loader than expected if you're living on the side of the train track as they screech around the corners, but you adapt to them after a while (so I'm told).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Laura from maintenance team has been on hand to sort a few of the snags I raised as I move in and have all been dealt with swiftly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wasn't aware that my apartment didn't come with a microwave as I only viewed the flat virtually before committing to it. A one-page document comparing the industrial vs heritage style would have been useful.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great are, lots of good bars and restaurants! Domo is great for food and Nono is perfect for a glass of wine.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We’ve only had to raise one issue in the past which was addressed quickly even though it wasn’t urgent.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only thing that was inconvenient when we moved was the parking situation as there was an event on that we weren’t told about so we had very limited time to use the courtyard. We also weren’t aware of the community bills, so that’s another expense to bear in mind.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

location is excellent, walk-able to work and all of the amenities of Leeds. ideal for a social lifestyle. essentially next to the train station also helps a lot with commuting out of the city. Bad is minimal, area is reasonably safe, im never bothered by any noise outside as its just far enough from the center that any suspect behavior doesn't appear often.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They responded promptly, Amie was excellent with my issue raised and managed it very efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing explicitly, its what you will expect it to be.
