The design of most of Embassy Gardens is chic and modern, with some very impressive apartment complexes. Whitbread House and its neighbouring cheaper buildings appear to be in a separate category: they are very basic and austere, more like mid to high-end student accommodation. This is completely fine, but it's worth noting that not all apartments in this area are equal. There is no concierge, and your packages may go missing if left downstairs. Renting residents do not have the opportunity of renting a parking space. They do get access to the gym in The Residence, which is great. The flats themselves are as basic as furnished flats come: sofas and beds break very easily, the window blinds look like they belong in an office. L&Q management is shockingly bad: they take weeks-to-months to respond to requests, and admin errors are very frequent. For example: erroneous "Rent in arrears" letters, sending the wrong maintenance workers, failing to followup our rental renewal until weeks after our previous contract had expired. Trying to get L&Q to help you with non-essential requirements, like replacing furniture, is a non-starter.

The design or lay out of this development I feel is great as the floor plans and space is well thought out and not wasted. The facilities unfortunately are average at best. The gym, concierge etc are poor. Building management is terrible and the property is poorly managed. Things always broken, left unfixed, uncleaned, and persistent problems not addressed. The concierge does not know how or who to escalate things to and the cleaning staff, well doesn't clean.

its great to have a gym included in our amenities, as this was a must for us and its open 24 hours with wonderful staff who are very helpful. There was an issues with parcels being missing, however I believe this issue has now been rectified. The flat is pretty spacious, just enough for me and my husband with pretty good storage and enough space for a dining table to have friends over for dinner.

The building is well managed by the maintenance staff, but the repairs themselves take a long time and its hard to contact the team. The design and facilities are good, it would be beneficial to have some more outdoor space with grass so people can get out a bit more and not have to go too far afield.

I got a complain which I did not get any reply from property management yesterday although that was important and a safety issue. I copied my e-mail: I regret to inform you about an incident happened today. When I was sleeping at around 7:45-8:00 am. Two people opened the lock to enter the flat. (Two middle aged white, XL men) I rushed from bed to shut the door and not let them in without knowing what it was for. They told me they were from L&Q and that flat was supposed to be empty. They obviously got the key. They never rang the bell just pushed the door. I am asking you be kind to further check and let me know today please. Are they from L&Q? Should I report to police? What they were looking for if from L&Q? Why they were here?
