I don't want to leave this place!!

Gym is massive and so is the cinema. The spaces keep changing based on our feedback and the team is always here to listen and solve my problems. I like how everything is with a QR code so there is no paper and the building has a strong focus on sustainability.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Incredible experience, moved to London on my own and the events have really helped me make some friends and not be alone.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

My lightbulbs went out and the maintenance was very quick. My fridge was also making noise and it was replaced

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn't know that storage wasn't included in the rent

Good place to live, but needs some improvements

The design of the building is good, but there is a lot of unused space that could be better utilized. It would be beneficial to have more communal areas for socializing and connecting with others. Additionally, residents in the South Block should have better access to facilities like the laundry room and storage room. Improving communication with the management, especially for those who work outside the building, would be helpful. It would also be great to revitalize underutilized spaces and organize more events during non-office hours for the residents who spend most of their working outside the building. Furthermore, considering allowing pets on a case-by-case basis could be a positive addition to the community.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have an affinity for living near water, so I'm drawn to the area near the Thames. It's not as well-connected as an underground tube, but it's located between two overground stations, which is decent. However, there have been instances of anti-social behaviour both inside and outside the building. It would be beneficial to monitor the conduct of residents and their guests to ensure a positive atmosphere within the building and with other residents.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Occasionally, it is necessary to submit multiple requests via email or through the app when addressing instances of damage or issues, as there have been instances where the team may overlook them. In some cases, it can take several days to receive a response or to have the issue resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Know that it was two different buildings and they didn't have good connections between them or most all the community areas were in the North Block.

I love the easy access to facilities. The onsite gym is a major plus. Being able to escape to the rooftop terrace is great and I love that I can pop outside quickly. I wish the attention to maintenance was a bit better, such as the bar. In building washer and dryer is great. I like the clean design of the building and the staff brings the personality

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are tons of shops, food and general, within a 20 minute walk. The proximity to the power station and parks is fabulous. I love living near the river. I wish there was underground access nearby and that it was closer to the stations

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mostly positive. I like the onsite staff but don’t have communication with overall management

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bar was out of service for the first 6 months of being here

A newbie to co-living and London’s perspective.

Folk is a well decorated and maintained area, all of the people who work here are notable and really put in the effort to make it a great place to live. If there is something we are not happy with, it is quickly resolved. For example, we requested more monitors and comfortable desk chairs in the work space and now we have them and the co working space is a lot more user friendly as a result. The events hosted are carefully curated and planned well with a nice variety of things to get involved in. The building is clean and well kept. The other tenants here also make the building an inviting place to live, people smile and say hi, group events are organised on our own accord and it really is a fantastic place to make a social life in London, you can of course spend more time on your own but I think the great thing about folk is using all the communal spaces and finding like minded people to spend time with!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is nice and safe and I feel comfortable as a woman walking down the river on my own. The area also has all of the local amenities you need; groceries, shops, dentist, doctors, pharmacy, restaurants. It’s a nice mix of known names and independents. The river is nice as theres people around but not crowded, there’s nice parks to explore, Battersea park hosts events and Wandsworth park is a nice green space for walking or a picnic. The transport is convenient, the only downside is the tube line doesn’t run here but the bus, overground and boat are sufficient, plus you can get everything in walking distance that you need. The streets are quiet in the evenings, you don’t hear many sirens. Overall, the area is a great place to live

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I have had any issues e.g my light was broken in my bathroom, this was resolve within 24 hours. Any issues in the communal spaces are also addressed in a timely manner

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known to get involved in events sooner and that people are welcoming when you say hi to them around the building. I spent the first two weeks feeling like everyone knew one another and wasn’t sure if it was a good fit but as soon as I started to get involved and talk to people I felt immediately welcomed. My advice would be to get involved as soon as you can!

The management and staff are great and it creates a nice homely feel. The building design is also well fitting and suitable spaces for all uses. The development has a gym, laundry room, cinema room… the list goes on! All the spaces are cleaned and the property management is good.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good friendly area with plenty of ways to access other amenities. The area offers an array of local shops, green spaces and an area which has always got something on. Fairly peaceful and quiet at night for a busy area !

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes the issues are usually fixed fairly quick. Report of issues depending on what they are solved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The overheating of the flats is a concern for me but I understand that this is common in newer builds
