Great building, poor neighbourhood

Verified Resident

The building is new, well built, and the space is very well laid out to get the most use and storage out of the square footage. I have been here for a year and a half, and unfortunately, the neighbourhood is becoming increasingly unsafe. Cars are being lit on fire, right outside the building. People are getting mugged in the park at night, and there is increasing gang violence and knife crime in the area. The Fizzy community is wonderful, and I enjoy the social events and have become friends with several residents. I will be very sorry to leave.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Good transport links into central London, also quick to cycle. Not much worth mentioning in the local area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is a community facebook where residents discuss all things Fizzy Living, and offer to dogsit each other’s pets, etc.

Real dignified adult living for great value (if couples)

Verified Resident

If you have rented around East London before you will know that Fizzy is really the only place for a fully independent, dignified and modern adult to rent. It is cheap if everyone in the house is a couple. AND they allow pets!

Great customer service

Verified Resident

Having looked for a flat from abroad I needed a company that was flexible, dependable and pleasant — Fizzy proved to be all that. Moving is stressful in itself and speaking to your landlord shouldn’t be too, with Fizzy I knew they cared about me. Would recommend!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is quite residential which is both good and bad. The station is only a short walk away though

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Consider if you want to live in an area with more open stores at night

Fizzy living stepney

Verified Resident

The flats are stylish with high quality finish and appliances, the communal spaces are well kept and the amenities are great (library, pet station, dry cleaning pickup service). We especially like having an on-site building manager (I.e a ‘bob’) who is always helpful and friendly. When we have had issues communication is always easy. Easily the best renting experience I’ve had.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Small Co-op and Sainsburys right by the tube station, about a 6/7 min walk from the Fizzy building. Also easier to get down to Limehouse. Some nice pubs nearby (The Horn of Plenty, The Half Moon, The Old Ship). Generally a really well connected area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A better understanding of the communal heating and underfloor system. Took us a while to figure out how to use it. It’s not that it’s an awful system but Iran very different to conventional boiler heating.

Great communal feel, and super pet friendly

Verified Resident

Like the title says, there is a great sense of community here which is almost unheard of when you live in high rise apartments in London. Almost half the tenants have pets, so our dog has a lot of friends to say hello to and some neighbours even babysit each other’s dogs. The apartments are very well insulated and sound proof, never had to use heating much at all up where we live. The building managers (Bobs) are genuinely nice and they take away a lot of stress with dealing with L&Q directly, as well as maintenance issues. Everything inside the flats are to a high standard. Very happy here and so is my large dog!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The park behind is convenient – to take your dog to. Its pretty close to the station. which is nice. Dislike the sort of petty drug related activities happening in the park at night, also seen cops a couple of times. So the area isn’t perfect, but i have not felt unsafe so far but thats not under Fizzy’s control.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The parcel room is situation is not the best, because there is no 24 hr concierge sp parcels have been stolen many times from there. I wish there was a better system for that – but unfortunately, there is a small risk of things getting stolen because either some people have accessed illegally or the door was not shut. So I order some things to work now if they are too valuable and have to carry home which is a shame.

Fizzy makes living in London great

Verified Resident

Fizzy living is always available should you encounter any issued with your flat or if you are seeking any kind of assistance. The buildling in Stepney Green is very close to the City and only a short walk to Stepney Green Station/Mile End Station/Limehouse DLR station. The flats are modern and the furniture packages are perfect for people newly arriving in London. Since we moved to London we have only lived in Fizzly flats and we keep intend to do so as all affairs just go smoothly and without any hassle. Thank you Fizzy for making Living in London great!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like the close proximity to the center of London and the newly designed flats. In summer the street towards the east side can be a bit noisy when cars are passing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the flat in summer can be quite warm (however this is just during the couple of really hot days in London)

Lovely place to live

Verified Resident

Laura was great at helping us pick the right apartment for us and we have already stayed for longer than we thought! My favourites: reception area makes you immediately feel like home and takes the stress away with sweets after a long day, Laura is always there with a smile and the parcel delivery room is a life-saver! We dont actually have our own pets but we love neighbour pets and it definitely gives the building a different vibe and has a great friendly community feel! Move in if you can!

Convenient

Verified Resident

This is the place where I have been living the longest in London. I think I have been in the flat for four years now. Location-wise, it is a really convenient location. We have a useful Facebook group amongst tenants and the parcel delivery room is handy. All works well with the exception of the communal water heating system which presents annual issues, but this is not Fizzy’s fault.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is quiet and liveable. We are five minutes away walking from the tube. There have been some disorderly incidents in the area but luckily the residents are rarely involved in these.

Life at Fizzy is actually fizzy! :)

Verified Resident

We’ve been at Fizzy Stepney for 3 years. The building is modern, the tenants are all young professionals from all over. We are a really cool community, and the buildings specialise in Pet homes so its super joyful all around. When something breaks they are quick to fix it, no questions asked. And when the water/elec suppliers are slow to do repairs, Fizzy is always behind making sure they hurry.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is super well connected to London its crazy.
There are no fees when joining Fizzy, like there are in all other Estate Agents.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that rent increased year on year even if the area’s rents go down.

Great flat!

Verified Resident

I love living in this development, it is a short walk to work for me (which I really appreciate), it lets me keep my dogs, it’s close to various sports clubs, and it is a great place to live. The staff are really friendly and help with anything as quickly as possible.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like how close it is to lots of bars and restaurants in East London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was amazed by how close the flat was to three different parks!
