· Walking distance to a wide range of groceries and restaurants, as well as wellbeing spaces and facilities (gyms, climbing, workshops) + pop-up opportunities for local businesses within the community. · Great transport links to Central London & to London City Airport (TfL Zone 2/3, Jubilee Line, DLR & buses) + lovely walks nearby, e.g., riverside, docks area and ecology park surrounded by the canal. · Active, young community, and family welcoming.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We raised a complaint due to a repair taking too long to be addressed and they responded promptly. We are awaiting a resolution, and we trust that the outcome will be transparent and fair to all involved parties.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would highly recommend a viewing to anyone interested, as it was my viewing in person which made me have no questions in the decision to go ahead and become a tenant at this property. Forever grateful.

Living in Canning Town has been a great experience with a mix of convenience and modern living. The area has good transport links, with Canning Town Station providing quick access to the Jubilee Line and DLR, making commuting to Canary Wharf, Stratford, and Central London effortless. There are also multiple bus routes available for easy travel. Local amenities are improving, with supermarkets, restaurants, and coffee shops within walking distance. Street cleanliness is generally well-maintained, with regular bin collections, though parking availability can be a challenge. The area has good security and a growing sense of community, though, like many parts of London, occasional anti-social behavior can occur, but it’s not a major issue.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Samsun was a great help with helping us getting set up and was very patient and answered all of our questions in well timed manner

I would have liked to know that the trains can be heard the flat especially during the night/ late evening The intercom app is not the best so would have liked to know that there is no actual door bell to hear in the flat

It is well connected as the jubilee line station is right next to the building. There isn't much happening in the area in terms of nightlife/cafes etc, but it's easy to reach other buzzing parts of London due to the building's excellent location.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
All the issues we raised so far have been attended to by the building management. They've been very quick with the resolution every time.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There aren't many good cafes/pubs around so one might have to travel a bit for that

I had an absolutely lovely year at Fizzy. The staff here were so supportive, friendly and funny and you would end up making friends with every one of them. They took good care of me while I was in self isolation and they helped me out with a lot of things. Special thanks to Paul, Aakifa, Samson and Michael.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had no problems with electricity, water or heater during my stay — if anything, they fixed it right away. Paul took great care of me! The garden is beautiful. I had great memories here with friends. I wish everyone at Fizzy all the best.

One advice for new-comers would be to book a room with a big window. I enjoyed the view out of my window when I’m got tired from studying.

The location here is excellent. We have a great range of shops, restaurants, and amenities within easy reach. Tube noise is quite apparent in our 7th floor flat facing the tube tracks.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Reception staff (especially Samson and Mariya) respond promptly to everyday issues. However, when we needed flexibility due to an international relocation, management was rigid and uncompromising. They rejected our offers of replacement tenants and a two-month penalty payment. Instead, they initially demanded seven months' rent (due to no break clause for tenants), then "reduced" this to four months' worth of penalties (two months' notice plus two months' penalty rent). When we refused to pay this excessive amount, they immediately threatened debt collection and legal action.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish we had fully understood the implications of having no break clause in our tenancy agreement. While the contract details were there, I didn't anticipate how inflexibly this would be enforced when facing legitimate life changes like international work relocation. Had we known about management's rigid stance on early tenancy termination - even when offering replacement tenants and reasonable penalty payments - we probably would have reconsidered our options. Additionally, I wish I'd known about the occasional building maintenance issues like the periodic hot water outages and persistent leaks. While not deal-breakers, they're inconveniences that aren't apparent during a typical viewing. It's worth asking specific questions about flexibility for unexpected life changes before signing a long-term agreement here. The development looks great and staff are friendly, but the business model seems designed for extracting maximum value out of each tenant without consideration to their changing life circumstances.
