Love the addition of the fizzy hub work from home spaces

Great design and facilities, sadly think cheaply painted apartment itself as paint has chipped etc just weeks into living here. Love the addition of the fizzy hub work from home spaces, which is great for both work and socialising, and the yoga studio to book and use is amazing

Good qualities are closeness to tube station which is very central in itself and closeness to amenities eg gym, Starbucks, bad is traffic noise

Very good facilities (fizzy hub, terrace, yoga studio) but cheaply made

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Took nearly 2 weeks to get my widow fixed, not ideal when getting cold and loud

FIZZY EAST16 – a homey apartment

The design is great and cozy, which makes me really feel like home after a long day of work. The parcel collection system is convenient and safe. It will be a bonus if there is a gym room. The building management team is generally responsive and helpful, but can work better in handover. We experienced some changes of staff at the beginning of our stay which delayed us in getting the contract and inventory checklist.

The apartment is very close to the tube station, just 5 mins walk. There is a huge Morrisons nearby where you can basically do your groceries. However, the apartment gets a bit noisy when the train passes by especially at night.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flat doesn’t come with a vacuum – you need to get your own for hoover.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So far, I haven’t experienced any issues or defects in my apartment. But the building management generally responded promptly to our enquiries.

Living at Fizzy East 16

Really nice development, with all the basic amenities. The co-working space, meeting room and the yoga room make it really easy and comfortable to work from home. The genuine efforts by the property managers esp Mass and Nadia to hold events and interact with residents is also highly appreciated.

Good aspects: close to the tube station, groceries, basic amenities
Bad aspects: some anti social behaviour, sometimes noisy because of the close proximity to the tube station

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flat is extremely comfortable and spacious. You end up using the amenities alot more than you intend to, which is always a plus!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have but it takes ages for the problem to be resolved. The online portal is not very helpful at all.

Some aspects are great, some not so, for example on the skirtings has been used wall paint which gets easily chipped and I really hope that won’t affect our deposit if we are to be leaving. A swimming pool would have been nice. The management is nice and hard working from my perspective.

Still in development. Noise as is facing the railways. Suffered anti-social behaviour for 6 months..

That the rent will get so expensive – very difficult to manage with these prices.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had only had one 1 issue and they did show up, however the issue reappeared after 24 hoours.

Good parcel dropping facility, concierge staff very friendly! The facilities provided include communal spaces and yoga studio. The app offered by the company is very handy. No complaints about other residents too. Very safe place to live. Close to local shops

Located in a very convenient location of Canning Town, fizzy east offers spacious apartments, newly furnished. Friendly staff, great service. There were some minor damages to the apartment however the property developers were notified and put this on their record. Slightly noisy near train tracks but something you get used too. Lovely balcony and fully equipped kitchen and living room and bedroom.

Lots of storage space but minimal in bathroom. Had to by separate storage to fit in bathroom.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Respond promptly and let us know when the job has been done

Well designed layout for the apartment. Good quality of fittings and fixtures as well as home appliances. Well maintained and hygienic. 24-hour security and store/locker room to manage deliveries throughout the day. A nice hub in the building to work/ study. Quick response by the management to any issues raised and very friendly and cooperative staff.

Central location – Good grocery stores, restaurants and eateries within 2-5 minutes walking distance and excellent commute links. Very close to the Canning town Station and Bus stops.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were informed of most things. However, it would be great to provide with full details on utility provider beforehand.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick responses. The only issue we had was with the background check which took a long time. Would suggest some flexibility around those procedures.

Good modern development with good amenities. Flats are slightly smaller and overall build quality should be better (blinds are below average). Management is not very responsive and you will need to be persistent if you wish to be answered. Pet friendly is a positive

Canning Town provides great transport links to central london , local restaurants are also good.
Safety remains a concern & activities are limited. Parking is almost non existent.

Nothing – all was expected and had no issues after moving in

Good management overall however requires persistence and constant emails in order for them to respond.

The design of the property is super nice. For example, I have a one bedroom flat with windows on two walls and a balcony space with a great view of canary wharf.
I can’t say that much about the building management since I have not been in touch with them that much.

Transport links are excellent – being on the Jubilee line is super practical for getting around the city.

One thing I wish I new before moving in is that there isn’t actually that big of a community among the residents as I expect – sadly.

One of my doors didn’t shut and they fixed it immediately

I think the flats a modern and spacious. Aspects of the design that I think could be better are the lack of door between the living space and corridor to the bedrooms so the sound travels. Another aspect is the furniture used. For example a queen bed with no storage underneath, bedside tables with one draw. Storage space is essential when renting rooms in London.

Canning Town is a good area, well connected, nice walks with nearby Thames and Victoria Dock. There’s no parking near the building which is a big negative and obviously the loud trains are a negative.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the concierge, parcel pick and ip guard as I wasn’t told until a couple of weeks after moving in!

I believe building management has responses to issues raised.

Security issues, Big delay in resolution of ossues

The issues related to hot water, security at the entrace have taken months to be resolved which pose big security threat to the apartment. The noise cancellation between the rooms of a flat was also poor probably because of the poor material being used to construct the rooms

Groceries are nearby. Close to the tube, so transport is good. Restaurants are alright, no that great.
