Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve been living here for over a year now and it’s honestly been a great experience. The transport links are excellent — with easy access to tube, rail, and bus connections, and Battersea Power Station is just a short walk away, offering even more shopping and dining options. Within the building itself, there’s a great Asian supermarket, the Atis salad bar (perfect for healthy lunches), and a beauty shop opening soon, which adds even more convenience. The area feels safe and lively with a nice mix of residents and local amenities. It’s a fantastic place to call home.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Excellent always sort the problem out within a day or two. Sometimes within a couple of hours
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I’d recommend is joining the residents’ WhatsApp group as soon as you move in. It’s a really friendly community, and the group helps you stay up to date with everything from building updates to local tips and social events.

Feels more like a hotel than a home...comes with pros and cons!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good transportation links, with Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms Station on the Northern Line 5 minute walk, and Vauxhall Station on the Victoria Line 10 minute Walk. Good bus and rail links nearby too. Poor parking availability in the area due to Wandsworth Council policy for on street parking in new developments and there is extremely limited parking with the development and a long waiting list. The area is still subject to large scale development so can be noisy. The main Nine Elms Road has road improvements for the next 18 months so traffic is heavy. Although a nice area, it is a hotbed for phone snatching. This can be seen most nights and makes the area feel sometimes unsafe.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management generally attempt to communicate by e-mail with residents about key issues. However, there seems to be little action in the background.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That many of the flats are short term rented by Urban Rest which effectively turns much of the buildings into a hotel.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Area is nice, power station close by as well as Vauxhall rail station. Nicely positioned along the river with plenty of areas to walk while also feeling very central.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Landlord has seemed to ignore feedback from residents thus far, with an unproductive meeting being held with a couple of representatives from residents group.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known that all amenities would not be included, these were the reason I moved in.

Hi David, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback — it’s incredibly valuable to us and to the wider community here at Bloom. We’re really glad to hear that the apartment initially felt like a dream, and we completely understand your disappointment regarding some of the amenities not meeting expectations. I wanted to let you know that we’ve reviewed our policy around BBQ bookings, and as of today, the €50 non-refundable cleaning fee has been removed. This was also discussed during the resident mingle on Friday — not sure if you were able to attend, but we hope to see you at the next one! Regarding the pool area guest policy and other amenity restrictions, we understand how frustrating these changes can be. While some limitations are in place to ensure safety and comfort for all residents, we’re actively reviewing how we can make these spaces more accessible and enjoyable. We also acknowledge that some facilities, like the pool table and jacuzzi, have needed attention. The jacuzzi delay was due to a parts issue that was unfortunately out of our hands, but we’re happy to report it’s now fully operational again — just in time for summer! We do want to clarify that while some amenities may be bookable for private events, they are otherwise available for general use throughout the day and evening. If you’d like more details on how this works, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our team members. Lastly, thank you for your kind words about our reception staff — we’ll be sure to pass that along to them. And if you ever want to chat more about your experience or share ideas, I’d be more than happy to grab a coffee and discuss things further. Just let me know what works for you. Warm regards,

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is part of a major redevelopment plan, which had brought a wide number of new residential blocks, and businesses to Battersea and Nine Elms specifically.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
There doesn’t seem to be a direct channel of communication between residents and management, which is an issue in such a large development. Residents want to provide ongoing feedback and participate, but there isn’t a framework in place.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
- There is no compulsory induction for new residents, which would ensure everyone knows how to behave, from using the waste chutes correctly, to evacuating in case of an emergency. I was shocked that we did not receive one, even if just a video for residents.

Hi Pat, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts — we really appreciate your feedback and your care for the community here at Bloom. We’re proud of the beautiful environment and top-tier shared facilities we’ve created, and we want to ensure they’re enjoyed by everyone. We understand your concerns around pet behaviour in child-designated areas, and we’ve taken steps to address this. Our resident handbook has been updated with clearer guidelines, and we’ve introduced a monitoring process that includes conduct letters where necessary. Our goal is to encourage responsible pet ownership while keeping shared spaces clean and welcoming for all. We’re also aware of the recent rodent sightings and want to reassure you that we’re working closely with certified pest control professionals. Additional preventative measures have already been implemented, and we’re continuing to monitor the situation closely. We’re committed to building a safe, respectful, and inclusive community — and that includes making sure our rules support, rather than restrict, the enjoyment of our spaces. If you’d like to chat more about any of these points or hear about the actions in more detail, I’d be more than happy to meet for a coffee and a conversation. Thanks again for your feedback — it really helps us grow and improve. Warm regards,
