Nice area

Verified Resident

These are nice flats with big spacious rooms. I love the view from my balcony and we’re close to several train and tube station. The area can get a bit loud and noisy sometimes but generally speaking it feels like a safe place to live

If there was one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be?

There is a rather large cupboard in the flat that could have been another bedroom.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Some of the kids around here have shown some bad behaviour

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I’ve only lived here for a few years but I did a bit of research before moving in

It is a nice area

Verified Resident

My apartment is good but smaller than my previous accommodations and more expensive. The walls are very thin and neighbours complain when I play music.
The design is nice.
I have balcony but don’t like to use it because it is so close to other buildings I feel like I’m getting into people’s privacy and there’s not really any view.

My flat is a bit cold in winter as well.

I have had some issues with the toilet and the heating but was quickly resolved by my landlord.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Convenient area. Easy to get to shops and it is well connected to Central London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the heating was faulty.

Good quality build and nice area, some anti-social behaviour from tenants

Verified Resident

I live in a good quality build and the facilities in my flat are fine. I like my flat and the surrounding areas. I’ve had some issues with anti-social behaviour from tenants in my building and as an owner that really bothers me.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised?

Pretty badly , they are slow to respond. I and other inhabitants have created an association because of this.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like that it’s a new development situated opposite a park and it’s close to public transport.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The housing association is terrible, it has no influence over tenants and bad behaviour. Waste management is bad too.

Nothing to dislike, minor design changes would be good.

Verified Resident

The windows are really nice – spacious inside. Lots of natural light enters the apartment.

Sisters room is quite small and mine is quite big – it brings an unfair advantage for one and not the other

If there is one thing about your flat or property what would it be?

Design in terms of materials etc is very good but again social design with bedrooms would be an immediate change.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It feels safe to be around! We overlook the park which is lovely.

Don’t dislike anything

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Seven floors is bigger than I thought but no major issues!

Great for trains but poor management.

Verified Resident

The management is poor. We have had consistent issues with out heating and water, and now have an issue with the cladding. It’s all legal stuff which shouldn’t be going on and is very confusing for a lot of the residents.

What is the best feature of your home?

Sound proofing and the heat inside really retains ; very energy efficient.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Really like the proximity to the train station. Dislike nothing area wise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing I wish I had known! All as expected when moved in other than the stated issues.

A much improved area

Verified Resident

Based in a quiet part of London, this development used to be a bad area with lots of tower blocks of council homes but since they built these new modern blocks it’s been quite nice and peaceful these days

What is the best feature of your home?

I like the trees, green spaces, new doors and windows

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

This is a great area to live, it’s close to several train and tube station

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The doors had to be replaced for reasons of fire regulations

Spacious flat, friendly people

Verified Resident

My flat is nicely built and spacious, I have a living room and dining room separate. I also have a back garden and a front area which is nice. People in the area are friendly and it’s got good transport links. There’s cycle storage where I can keep mine and my children’s bikes but unfortunately it had an issue and hasn’t been restored to use yet.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I lived here before the new build and the buildings are much nicer, modern. The people who live here are nice and the it’s good to have the park close by. It’s also next to the station which is good.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are lots of cars here, after 6 or 7 its hard to find parking even with a residence permit.

You’re in London but you can chill, nice suburb area

Verified Resident

Nice flat in London in a nice area with a park view that you can come back to and chill. Public transport is good and there have been some new public amenities promised – like a coffee shop – which would really benefit the area, somewhere to hang out in before or after taking the kids to the park. I’ve lived here for 6 years and started encountering some issues with hot water after 4 though which you wouldn’t expect from a new build. All in all though I’m happy with my place.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised?

The maintenance workers themselves are nice and friendly but problems can take a while to get resolved which I think goes higher up.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Public transport links are great and there are a lot of parks nearby. As more people are moving in it would be nice to get some coffee shops, maybe a pharmacy and some beauty shops. There has been a few isuses with a postcode war going on but that’s all over London, really.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I haven’t really come across any surprises, it was all quite straightforward moving in and so on.

Good space to walk dogs.

Verified Resident

Wine fridge and hot water taps are a huge bonus to the kitchen – clever designs that really add value.

The balcony dividers could be bigger – our neighbours smoke and unfortunately their smoke comes in to our side.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised?

I have recently moved in and again haven’t raised any issues.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The park is a good for my dog!

Not currently any issues around the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing to comment here – no problems to discuss or any good surprises.

It is quite a busy area now

Verified Resident

Not having to use stairs is one of the best benefits of my flat. The lift is usually working well.

My flat is well ventilated, cool in the summer and warm during winter. It is spacious for one bedroom.
Its design is good and there are some lovely community gardens.
The building management are doing good and there are people cleaning the communal areas.
We had a leak and my landlord was quick to response.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I have been living in the area for 30 years now and there is too many people compared to before.
I have some lovely neighbours. It is a good community where I live.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When I first moved in there was not this many buildings and it would have been nice to let us know earlier for all the buildings there is now.
