The local area is lovely! A lot of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Plus the train is just a short walk away. The train can be loud, especially with the windows open but you get used to it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I had an issue with cleanliness of the flat when I moved in and Ellen sorted it the exact same day. Coming onsite to sort it then calling me after to confirm it was sorted.0

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had taken the trains into consideration and maybe gone for a flat in a building a bit further away.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very near city centre and train station, coffe shop amd bakery in the complex, they also hold streetfood events. Very convenient location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Came to fix waher-dryer and window handle very quickly.

Living at Mustard Wharf has been a great experience so far. Transport links are super convenient — Leeds train station is just minutes away, making commuting or weekend trips really easy. The street itself is peaceful and well-maintained. Bin collections are reliable, and there’s a real sense of community here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve raised an issue. They’re quick to reply and always friendly, making sure things are resolved efficiently. It really shows they care about residents’ comfort and experience.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything is so clear and the viewing is so good too, i know everything before i moved in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very central so access to all city centre shops/restaurants and 2 min walk to train station. Parking limited but to be expected with it being so central!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues as of yet to report on, however they’ve been quick and responsive

The regular community events they run are great and a fantastic way to meet your neighbours. Kourtney who hosts them does a great job and after doing our first Paint and Sip event we’re already looking to attend the next event!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This area is such an ideal location for city centre life without feeling like you’re slap bang in the middle of the city. Being set back behind the train station and having the canal right there means it feels calmer and is great for canal side walks and drinks. I’d love if there were more car parking availability/options but the location is so handy for getting to the train station quickly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All issues have been resolved fairly quickly, mostly on the same day of raising.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would be great to have more structure around promoting/organising the events as they’re so popular they regularly are fully booked just minutes after announcing so I’ve missed out on a few that I’d have loved to go to. Also on the local perks, there are lots places giving discounts, which is brilliant, but it’s difficult to keep up with where and what so it would be great for that to be shared more accessibly and perhaps with a Mustard Wharf card or similar that works across all businesses rather than individual ones.
