8 water street is ideal, there are a variety of shops and restaurants within a 30 second walk. Quiet.

Very helpful and issues are resolved within 48 hours

The utilities provider is not the best, they overcharge and it’s difficult to get them on the phone

Right in the middle of everything from a hospitality and transport perspective. 5 minutes from the mall and equal distance to the edge of Canary Wharf and a good old fashioned London pub.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Highly responsive, some minor issues on moving in day all handled quickly and professionally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Minor niggle - coffee cups in lounge need to be available 100% of the time.

Living in Canary Wharf is almost ideal. Great transport links, clean streets, lots of shops and restaurants. The only downside is a lack of green space which can make living there difficult for some.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They're difficult to deal with and often take weeks to respond to reasonable questions. They'll also very likely do nothing unless the tenants in the building start a petition. They don't care.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They will try to get as much money from your deposit as possible. Make sure you document everything and take all reasonable measures to do DYI touch ups before you move out. They're impossible to reason with and come back with nonsensical arguments to waste your time.

We understand how frustrating it can be when services and perks change over time, however where possible we have tried to offer alternatives. Regarding the damage charges, we want to assure you that these were in accordance with the lease agreement and the necessary steps to maintain the property. Convenient is the best way to describe Canary Wharf. Excellent transport links, dining options, and other amenities. But the more things they open the busier and louder it gets. And without a park or other open space there is no chance to relax. It's a place for professionals, not for a family.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Incredibly slow responses and often with reasonable questions outright ignored.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Go through the apartment with a magnifying glass and take a photo of absolutely everything as part of check-in to protect yourself and your deposit. It seems excessive and aggressive claims on deposits are part of their business strategy.
