Great location for families in Acton/Ealing

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area has been excellent for family life. South Acton station is just a 5-minute walk and Acton Town station about 10 minutes, giving easy access to central London and beyond — we’ve been able to live comfortably without a car. There are more than five parks within walking distance that are great for young children, and plenty of nurseries and schools nearby, so we’ve never had trouble finding options for our kids. Day-to-day shopping is very convenient too, with a Sainsbury’s Local just 2 minutes away on foot and a Morrisons about 10 minutes away. Overall it’s a well-connected, family-friendly neighbourhood.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has been responsive and efficient. When we first moved in, we raised a few minor issues with fittings and facilities, and these were resolved quickly without much back and forth. Communication has generally been straightforward.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we’d known that the flats don’t have air conditioning — it wasn’t something we thought to check during the viewing, but it’s made a real difference on hot summer days. If you’re moving in during warmer months, it’s worth planning for a portable fan or cooling solution in advance. On the plus side, the location near South Acton and Acton Town stations turned out to be even more convenient than we expected, especially with young kids in tow.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

South Acton is a family friendly area with various schools and playgrounds nearby, there are cafes and restaurants in Acton town and Chiswick, many just 10-15 minutes walk away. It is a safe and generally well kempt area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Addressed in a timely fashion, including in urgent situations.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flat gets very warm in the summer so a fan is helpful.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is a great place to live, with lots of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities nearby, making everyday life very convenient. Transport links are also very good, with easy access to trains and other public transport. The area is generally quiet and peaceful, with little traffic noise. There are also open spaces nearby for walks and enjoying some fresh air. Overall, the area is friendly, convenient and has everything you need close by

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been helpful and responsive, addressing any problems raised promptly and keeping residents informed throughout.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how peaceful the development is, as this wasn’t something that was easy to judge from a viewing. The communal areas are generally well maintained, and it’s useful to know that everyday essentials, shops and transport links are all conveniently close by.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely green spaces and super excited to see the riverfront being redesigned too after many years. There is quite a bit of traffic noise during the day but a given as we’re on the main one way system. Lovely restaurants around the corner and day to day shops aren’t too far away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Absolutely, always super quick and friendly - never had any issues!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just that whilst being developed, delivery drivers will struggle to find the address!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Howard Court is a very convenient area to live in as we are right next to the shopping centre and train station that takes us straight to London.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have never had an issue, if anything had to be fixed we would mention it to Farah and Sofia and they would be very responsive and get it sorted. Thank to Ryan for all the maintenance help

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we had moved here earlier as we absolutely love it right now
