Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is in a ideal spot it’s tucked away on the pit skirts of Swindon so you miss the noise and traffic of the town centre but on the other hand you’re 5-10 minutes from a supermarket & retail park. Parking is good two spaces of car & work van.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have reported the issues we’ve encountered awaiting response but we have only just moved in so appreciate these things can take a little time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would advise when viewing any property pay real attention to the details and quality of work as we have picked up on some really poor workmanship (fencing) (dishwasher) cannot open fully as it catches the unit handle. But these things are cosmetic and can/will be resolved.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Pippins Place is in a prime location for us for our everyday life. The house is exactly what we need and is located on the A20, the main road running between Maidstone and West Malling with numerous supermarkets, schools and key roads very close by. Maidstone is a 15 minute drive away with two main stations that access London and Ashford and dozens of various restaurants and eateries. Maidstone also has Mote Park which is an amazing place to enjoy the outdoors. Nearby to Pippins Place is also Leybourne Lakes which offers a tranquil walking opportunity. The development continues to be under construction so there is still outstanding finishes to be made, but we like that we have two dedicated parking spaces with an integrated electric vehicle charging point.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Just moved in, so currently have nothing to report. We had a good handover with Matt on move in day who went through how to use everything and how to report issues. Said he would also arrange for the grass to be cut as we were the first people to move in to the property which was extremely helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

So far I can honestly say there is nothing to report. I would say some of the considerations are questionable - such as having a terrace of house all in one colour brick (yellow) which I think would have been nice to break up the colour with either a pattern of red bricks or adding coloured fascia to it. Also, the garden could’ve done with having a couple of extra patio slabs out from the house and there is a random gap of 6 slabs (3x2) between the patio and the patio path down the side of the garden - just didn’t make sense to me!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is convenient and family-friendly, with Maldon just a short drive away offering a great selection of shops, restaurants, cafés, and pubs. There are several supermarkets nearby and plenty of open green spaces. Parking is excellent, with two designated spaces and additional on-street parking available. The street is generally quiet with very little traffic noise or anti-social behaviour, even though some building work is still ongoing within the development.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have been fortunate not to experience any major issues since moving in. However, whenever we have had questions throughout the process, the team has always been extremely helpful, responsive, and quick to reply. Their communication has been excellent, and we have every confidence that any problems would be dealt with promptly and professionally if they were to arise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing that stood out to us was the flexibility offered when it came to the deposit options. It was really helpful to be given a choice so we could select the option that best suited our circumstances. Another great feature is the keyless entry system – the fobs are brilliant, very easy to use, and we love being able to access and manage entry from our phones. This makes everyday living much more convenient and gives added peace of mind. Overall, the experience has been very positive and the development is quiet, modern, and well maintained.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We found this Buckler's Park very refreshing and lovely in the Crowthrone forest. It is at the interchange between Wokingham and Bracknel , and 5 mins to Wellington College where my kids go to. The 194 bus is running through the community. There is a Co-Op, coffee shop, restaurant, play ground , etc amenities on site. Our unit comes with two parking spaces behind the garden.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Missing a dryer machine and microwave. Like use the attic for more storages.

What is the best feature of your home:

Smart Lock with a camera, Free broadband, and Hive app to control the heating. Energy efficient with solar panels. two parking spaces. A descent garden size that comes with a shed for storages.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We close to all amenities, quiet street, loads of private parking. Lovely community feel. Located in the heart of Thanet.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

One of the back doors won’t open but this is being resolved on Friday. Also still waiting for the smart keyless entry system to be installed which we have chased today. We were advised we would have a video door ball but that is no longer the case.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lower water pressure than usual and bin collection days would have been helpful as well as how to read the meters for utility companies,
