I personally think this is the best city centre location. It’s why I chose Oldfield Wharf in the first place as the city centre is so accessible with it being just a 15 minute walk into the heart of the city centre, but you also get the benefit of not having quite as much noise as you would if you were in a more central location. I really like how everything is within a 10-20 minute walk, but you’re a bit away from the hussle and bussle.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Albin has been absolutely fantastic as mentioned above. I think the contractors themselves were not great but they were out of the hands of the team at Oldfield Wharf and Albin went above and beyond to get issues rectified for me. Thank you Albin.

Honestly I would recommend moving into Oldfield Wharf in a heartbeat. I have nothing negative to say at all as I’ve never felt so at home whilst renting!

I’ve had a really great experience living here. The accommodation is lovely, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist whenever needed. Overall, a great place to live, and I would definitely recommend it!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond immediately and effectively for everything .

Honestly, I wish I’d known how nice and helpful everyone is before moving in! It’s made living here such a good experience, and the team is always there if you need anything.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in the Baker Street area, so close to Regent’s Park, is absolutely wonderful. The neighbourhood is peaceful, safe, extremely clean and surprisingly quiet for central London. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance, from lovely cafés and restaurants to supermarkets, shops and excellent transport connections. The location is perfect, and having Regent’s Park nearby makes it even more special. I love how everything is so convenient while the area still feels elegant, calm and exclusive. It genuinely offers the perfect balance between luxury city living and a peaceful neighbourhood. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been really good whenever I’ve needed help. Mr. Loris is always responsive, helpful and easy to communicate with. If there’s an issue, he makes sure it’s looked into and often checks personally that everything is okay. I really appreciate how professional and approachable he is. The concierge team is also very helpful, especially Riyad and Marcelo, who are always friendly and willing to assist.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known how convenient and comfortable living here would be. Everything is close by, the neighbourhood is quiet, and the building has some really nice facilities. I also didn’t realise how many activities ila organises for residents, such as massages, pedicures and painting sessions. It’s a lovely extra touch that makes living here more enjoyable.

The area is amazing, there’s lots of local independent cafes nearby. You also have about 7 breweries behind us, who all do local events. The tube is really close too

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

This has improved dramatically since moving to ila, they always respond promptly

The BBQ doesn’t work :( we wish it did as we’d love to enjoy it

The surrounding area has all the amenities and creature comforts you could ask for; fancy a drink then you're 5 minutes away from 3 pubs, if you want a coffee, you can get a cake too at Kith & Kin, or enjoy a brunch at a Prokafinated whilst getting your steps in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management have been prompt to solve an issue I had where the blind came loose in my bedroom, this was easy to address as I took a picture and raised in their app. A handyman popped by that week and sorted it.

The bed mattresses were a bit firm for my tastes, a mattress topper sorted it quickly. I'd recommend checking the mattress is good for you or bringing your own.
