Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living around Kangaroo Works in Sheffield is really convenient, especially as a student. There are good local food options, including a taco place right beneath the building, as well as other shops and restaurants nearby. Transport links are excellent, making it easy to get to the city centre, university, and other parts of Sheffield. The area feels lively but generally safe, and everything you need is within walking distance. Parking can be limited at busy times, but overall the location is very practical and enjoyable.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has generally been responsive and helpful. Any issues I raised were acknowledged quickly and resolved in a reasonable timeframe, and communication has been clear throughout.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known more about how the bills work before moving in. While everything is manageable, it would have been helpful to better understand what is included, how costs are calculated, and what to expect on a monthly basis as a student.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There’s a Tesco express nearby and only a short walk into the city centre so it’s a great location without being right in the hustle and bustle. Moorfields station is round the corner which is super handy.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have acted straightaway and come to sort things.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How great the courtyard is - perfect for our dog to run around in an enclosed area :) Only thing to note is that the electricity bills are quite high in comparison to our previous apartment. It seems to be common across all residents we’ve spoken to. With a similar usage as our old place, it’s about £50-60 more a month.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Easy access to town and local amenities without the noise. It’s a very quiet road in all honesty that’s peaceful.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes any issues have been promptly resolved in an efficient manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If any of the flats with outdoor space were available. We should’ve looked into this more ourselves but it would’ve been great to have that extra space for some table and chairs.

Bang you got Tesco next door, all your groceries toiletries anything you need on the day to day, if you’re looking to pig out you got the Korean store right outside one of the main entrances to the building on rockingham street (get the mango cake) you walk up its division street- you got urban kebab (get the big daddy meal) and cha time (get the passion fruit slush) walk along left instead of right and you’ve got ohannes burgers (it’s worth the money) and it’s right next to the Taco Bell at the end of the street- if you’re into sports opposite that you’ve got the common room (Super Bowl Sunday see me there) for all entertainment purposes- BUT they don’t have a ping pong table, if you walk down instead of up there’s the new Pandora- do NOT go there with your girlfriend I got scammed- the light cinema is even closer (going to watch “send help” tonight, it’s got Dylan O’Brien i think too 5 films this year) AVOID popeyes it’s all oil and if you’ve got bad taste there’s a Nando’s in the moor walk for you too
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Super fast, the day we moved in there was a problem with the bedroom window blind, and they sorted it before we even got up to our apartment
