Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The building has good access to so many good shops and restaurants, the arndale being so close is really handy.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is so much to do in the area - bars, cafes, gyms and markets. It is a very vibrant area full of young people.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes when we raise a ticket on the app it is seen to and resolved within a matter of days.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Windows don’t open fully which is a problem in the summer especially with the hot heat waves. The flags get super hot and only being able to open the windows a tiny bit, with no AC, it is unbearable.

Manager response

Hi Glesni, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you’ve had a positive experience with the team and that maintenance requests and general queries are being handled promptly. Ruby and Holly will be especially pleased to hear your kind words, and we’ll be sure to pass your compliments on to them. It’s also wonderful to know that you enjoy the vibrant local area and the range of amenities, including the cafes, bars, gyms, and markets nearby. We appreciate your feedback regarding the window openings and the challenges this can present during periods of hot weather. Comments like yours are valuable and help us better understand residents’ experiences. Thank you again for your recommendation and for being part of our community.

City-centre living without the noise and hassle

Karyn P (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Pall Mall Press, L3

Aug 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I absolutely love the location of the building as everything is 5-10 mins walk since it’s in the center. This also means a wide range of options for food and household deliveries which is really convenient. The docks are also a 5 min walk which is great for socializing and walking pets. Best of all, it’s tucked away in a quiet corner from all the noise and traffic in L1 or the heart of the city center. Also, there’s lots of parking options if you have guests including an NCP car park on the same street. No complaints, it’s been lovely enjoying city center living in a quiet neighbourhood.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I had raised an issue with my doors and some plumbing and that was dealt with very swiftly within 48 hours. Amazing communication and the staff have been very accommodating.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing really, like I said said it’s been a positive experience so far and I’m looking forward to spending more years to come here.

Manager response

Hi Karyn, Thank you so much for such a lovely review! It’s fantastic to hear that you’ve enjoyed your first year with us so much that you’ve decided to stay for longer at Pall Mall Press. We’re really pleased that you’ve felt so well looked after by the team, and that the little things — from our 24/7 reception and quick maintenance response to the parcel system, resident events and new gym — have helped make day-to-day life that bit easier. We especially love hearing that you and your pet feel at home here. Creating a place that feels welcoming, well cared for and more like a community than just a building is something we really value. It’s also great to hear how much you enjoy the location. Being close to everything the city has to offer, while still having a quieter spot to come home to (and the docks just around the corner), is definitely one of the best things about living here. Thank you again for recommending us to your friends and for choosing to stay with us. We’re so glad to have you as part of the community and look forward to welcoming you home for many more years to come!

Modern and Cosy Property perfect for City living

Abbishek Jayaraj (Tenant)

Pall Mall Press, L3

Aug 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is very convenient as it's close to the City Centre with good access to public transport and shopping. Parking is bit of an issue and is paid in almost all places.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management responded to almost 80% of issues on time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The sensor lock system for apartment main door took 12-16 weeks for replacement as it had to arrive from Germany which I felt is too long.

Manager response

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience, Abbishek! We’re really glad to hear that you’re enjoying the modern feel of the building and making the most of the spaces we’ve created - especially the lounge, dedicated workspace and outdoor areas. We agree, they’re great spots to switch off, catch up or enjoy the sunshine when the weather is on our side! It’s also great to hear that you’ve found the team friendly and responsive, and that the location works well for your day-to-day life with the city centre, transport and shops all close by. We really appreciate you highlighting the points that could have been better too. We understand that waiting for a replacement sensor lock was frustrating, particularly with the extended lead time for the part from Germany. We’re always looking at how we can improve the experience for our residents and appreciate your patience while this was resolved. Thanks again for your feedback and for recommending us. It’s great to have you as part of the community.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Pall Mall Press is conveniently located on a quiet road a short walk away from convenience stores, Moorfields train station, salons, coffee shops and cafes, the commercial business district, and the beautiful waterfront. It is mostly quiet, which is amazing given the location - basically in the city centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues or questions I have had have always been dealt with promptly by the maintenance staff who are on site every day. I forgot my keys for the first time in my entire life and Mosin was kind enough to promptly get me into the building as soon as he recognised I was panicking, and he was even kind enough to remind me it was nothing to be embarrassed about.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is no bin chute - but I am used to this now and have realised there is less of a worry with the bin room method we have here about pet mess being a horrible job for someone to clean up if any bags were to break as per my previous living arrangements that had bin chutes! Only “negative” I can think of. I also wish I had known I would meet a mix of cultures - I have one very good friend I was lucky enough to meet in my first two months of living here, from India, and our friendship has brought me so much joy and gratitude and immersion in our culture (my father is from India). I would have maybe not been so stressed moving in if I’d known for certain how lovely everyone - staff, residents - are

Manager response

Hi Serena, Thank you so much for such a wonderfully thoughtful review. It genuinely means a lot to the whole team to hear how happy you’ve been since moving in — and we’re especially glad that Pall Mall Press has become a place you’re excited to come home to. We love hearing that you’ve made the most of the resident events and that they’ve helped you make new connections. That sense of community is such an important part of what we’re trying to create, so knowing you’ve met good friends (and some very cute animal ones too!) makes us incredibly happy. It’s also lovely to hear your kind words about Amy and the rest of the team. We’ll be sure to share them — especially your story about your first viewing and how comfortable Amy made you feel. And Mosin will be pleased to know that his key-saving moment helped turn a stressful situation into a slightly less stressful one! These little moments really do matter. Most of all, thank you for sharing how much the community, the design and the people here have contributed to your experience. Moving home can be stressful, so it’s lovely to hear that you now feel settled, connected and genuinely happy here. We’re delighted to have you as part of the Pall Mall Press community. Thank you for choosing to call Pall Mall Press home.
