Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area has a really good variety of shops, restaurants and bars, which makes it very convenient to live here. There is a Tesco nearby that stays open until 11pm, as well as several corner shops that are open late or even 24 hours, so it is easy to get essentials at any time. There are also some great bars in the area, with Ma Boyles being a personal favourite, and places like Shenanigans offering open mic nights which give the area a nice social atmosphere. Although it is quite a busy part of the city, the street itself feels quieter as it is slightly set back from the main centre, which is a nice balance. It feels like one of the more well kept and slightly more upscale areas nearby. it is also only a 5 min walk to get to the docks and only a 5-10 min walk to get to the centre of town. Transport links are excellent, with Moorfields station only a two minute walk away, making it very easy to get around. Bin collections are reliable and always on time, and there are no major issues with traffic noise or anti social behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues or queries I have raised have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently. From initial moving enquiries, where I had a lot of questions and nerves about the process, everything was handled clearly and supportively, which made settling in so much easier. Throughout the two years I have lived here, the level of support has remained consistently excellent. Any maintenance or general issues are resolved promptly, and communication is always clear and reassuring. What truly stands out, however, is the care and support shown on a personal level. During times where I have faced my own challenges, Georgie has been incredibly understanding and supportive, always approaching situations with kindness, respect and genuine care. She has created an environment where you feel comfortable reaching out, and where you know you will be listened to and supported. She is exceptional at what she does and plays a huge role in making the building feel like a real community rather than just a place to live. Her dedication, professionalism and compassion are truly unmatched.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I didn’t fully expect before moving in was just how welcoming and community driven the building is. It is very easy to meet people here, whether through the events that are regularly organised or simply by chatting to staff and other residents. Everyone, including reception, maintenance and cleaning staff, are genuinely friendly and approachable, which creates a really positive and comfortable atmosphere. My main advice to new residents would be not to hesitate to reach out if you ever have questions or need help. The team are always happy to assist and make you feel supported, which makes a big difference when settling in. In terms of practical advice, one thing I would recommend is considering the positioning of your apartment and how much natural light it receives. If you enjoy sunlight, it is worth looking at where the sun rises and sets, as some apartments get more light than others. That said, the building overall benefits from great natural light due to its layout. It is also worth exploring the different apartment layouts available, as there is a good variety and each space can feel quite individual while still maintaining a modern, high quality finish. Finally, one of the standout features for me is the views. Depending on your apartment, you can see incredible landmarks such as the Liver Building, the docks, the cathedral and even the Welsh mountains in the distance. The views really elevate the whole living experience and are something I would definitely recommend taking into account when choosing a flat.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Everything you need is in a 10 minute radius. There are a variety of restaurants and bars practically around the corner which is really handy. Queens square is less than ten mins away and Moorefields station is less than five which means getting anywhere is very easy. There’s no street noise regarding traffic. The street can sometimes be messy due to bin rubbish.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Since living here, no issues or problems have been raised
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I was unaware of all the events the building puts on which is nice to keep an eye out for.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
As many others may have said, good location in regards to being close to main areas, 10 minutes walk to the waterfront but unfortunately it’s there are some dodgy characters around occasionally shouting late into the night but when you’re in the building it’s great!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
People down at reception are lovely and always happy to help. We haven’t raised any issues yet.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It’s all great but as others have said too there’s a bit of a problem with the electric bill being quite expensive due to the heat recovery unit constantly being on and hot water cylinders not being very efficient.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s super close to town and everything is in walkable distance. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby as well as supermarkets. It’s not too loud either considering how close it is to the city.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They’ve always been quick to respond and sort out the issue
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The parking can be a bit of a hassle and the area is pricy but the location is great.

There’s a Tesco express nearby and only a short walk into the city centre so it’s a great location without being right in the hustle and bustle. Moorfields station is round the corner which is super handy.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have acted straightaway and come to sort things.

How great the courtyard is - perfect for our dog to run around in an enclosed area :) Only thing to note is that the electricity bills are quite high in comparison to our previous apartment. It seems to be common across all residents we’ve spoken to. With a similar usage as our old place, it’s about £50-60 more a month.
Manager response
Hi Lottie, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear how much you’re enjoying the building, the events, and the courtyard — and it’s lovely to know your dog feels so at home too 😊 It’s great to hear our team has been able to respond quickly and provide helpful support whenever needed. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! Thanks, Pall Mall Press
