Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has been a very positive experience overall. There is a great range of local shops, cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance, along with well-maintained green spaces that are ideal for relaxing or exercising. Transport links are excellent, with frequent bus and train services making it easy to commute and travel around the city. The street itself is generally quiet and well kept, with excellent parking availability and reliable bin collections. Neighbours are friendly and considerate, and there are very few issues with noise or anti-social behaviour. Overall, it feels like a safe, convenient and pleasant place to live, offering excellent value for the location and quality of the development.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has responded quickly and efficiently whenever any issues have been raised. Communication is clear, updates are provided where needed, and problems are resolved within a reasonable timeframe, which is reassuring as a resident.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything was well explained by Josephine before i moved in, any questions i had she answered promptly and truthfully, the rest of sherborne place team also were very quick to reply to any emails i had with questions, there was not a single thing i was unsure about before i moved in as the team made every best effort to reassure me from the first viewing till the move in date.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have been living here for 3 years, i cant really find anything bad to say about the area. Its close to everything i need, the city center and 5ways. Transport links are easy, environment is quiet. My apartment’s bin store is just a little bit of a walk to get to, when i mean a walk, 3mins max. Lol, i love it here

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they always respond to maintenance issues. No issues

Honestly can’t think of anything from the top of my head. It’s amazing here

Everything is close by, which makes daily life really convenient. There’s a good range places to eat in brindley place which is near , and the area feels calm with some nice open spaces nearby. Transport links are easy to access and generally reliable. On my street it’s mostly quiet and safe; bin collections are regular. Parking is available. overall it’s a pleasant place to live.

Yes they answer and solve your problems so quickly

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area is so-so, it has great transport links and is close to brindley place which has lovely restaurants and is about a 15-20 minute walk to bullring, it’s situated on the canal and there’s a lovely place called JuJus cafe not far from here, the owner is fab and the food is 10/10. However there is an issue with homeless and addicts breaking into the development spaces. Particularly the bin store. Despite being at the back of Broad street there is barely any noice from that, just the occasional noisy neighbour.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

This used to be great and super speedy, recently I am reluctant to put in any maintenance requests because it takes a while to get them scheduled in. Our bath plug release has been loose and leaks behind since we moved in June, this was fixed around October but once again it is loose. On our mid term inspection I was advised to just report it through the app which is becoming a rather repetitive response from staff. During a midweek night until early hours of the morning there was a party going on in the communal kitchen making a lot of noise which we could hear from our apartment in the block opposite, the security did nothing and I had to confront the people to keep it down and be more respectful of other residents myself, day staff enquired why the security did not deal with the issue and handled this themselves, reassuring me it shouldn’t happen again which I really appreciate.

I really like how many resident events and socials they host here. The communal spaces are lovely, most of the residents are really friendly and it’s great meeting people with their pets since it’s pet friendly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Sherborne place is perfectly located in a quiet area of Birmingham city centre. We are a small young family and have access to green spaces, playgrounds and shops nearby. Sherborne is a peaceful and secure place to live and thrive. The parking is located underground for our convenience.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always very efficiently, going above and beyond. Steve is the BEST!

I wish I had known how much I was gonna love the experience, moving houses it’s always stressful and a burden taking the joy of the actual experience but Sherborne place has made me feel I belong.
