A guide to living in Greater London

Poor living experience. The noise from the creaking walls is simply unbearable. When it's windy it sounds like being on a ship in a storm. The whole building groans loudly and at times I can even feel it sway. Even in low winds there is a persistent creaking noise from the swaying all around the flat. Last week the noise was going on almost every day, almost 24 hours a day. It has been impossible to sleep at night. It's taking a toll on my mental health. My neighbour has a daughter and the noise is affecting her performance at school because she can't sleep on nights before exams. Given how much we paid for this flat I would have expected a more sturdy structure. The developer did some work on the roof to mitigate the noise but nothing has changed. I'll have to move out because this doesn't feel like a home at all. A place where you oftentimes can't sleep isn't a home. I understand it's an interesting architectural design, but I'd rather live in a normally shaped building and have no wind creaking noise. The noise is also very "3D" in that it comes from the entire surrounding structure, making it impossible to block out with earplugs or mask with music. Perhaps the building was designed with a lightweight structure for aesthetic reasons, but this means I have this persistent creaking noise problem and I can feel the tube nearby passing (DLR) like a low frequency vibration noise

We’ve just moved in and we absolutely love it here. The team have been fantastic help and Manav in particular was so helpful showing us around and helping us get set up. The interior of the apartment is perfect and modern and the amenity spaces are just incredible.

The staff have all been amazing in onboarding, helping with any issues, and generally making myself and my daughter feel welcome and at home. The amenities in the building are all great, however there could be more transparency in accessing certain features of them

I've lived here for 4 years and still love the place. I like how modern the place is and how fast the lofts are. The under ground car park is very convenient. Having the gym in house is also very handy. The apartment itself is of a high standard and quality

Maintenance of facilities like the games room needs to be far more regular with the pool table in a bad state of repair. The drainage in our bathroom has been intermittently bad with a current wait of 17 days since reporting the matter of totally bl9cked bath and back feed into the sinks. No courtesy call to acknowledge the request for fixing and no response following 3 visits to concierge. Very poor response from maintenance. Mail room for deliveries needs maintenance and better storage for packages. Sometimes impossible to find your del8very. Better and clearer numbering system required. On the plus side the reception staff and security always very friendly and quick to respond to anything raised. In particular Chantel always gives a greeting to residents and gives out a positive vibe, whilst also following up on requests.
