A guide to living in Greater London

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in the Baker Street area, so close to Regent’s Park, is absolutely wonderful. The neighbourhood is peaceful, safe, extremely clean and surprisingly quiet for central London. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance, from lovely cafés and restaurants to supermarkets, shops and excellent transport connections. The location is perfect, and having Regent’s Park nearby makes it even more special. I love how everything is so convenient while the area still feels elegant, calm and exclusive. It genuinely offers the perfect balance between luxury city living and a peaceful neighbourhood. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been really good whenever I’ve needed help. Mr. Loris is always responsive, helpful and easy to communicate with. If there’s an issue, he makes sure it’s looked into and often checks personally that everything is okay. I really appreciate how professional and approachable he is. The concierge team is also very helpful, especially Riyad and Marcelo, who are always friendly and willing to assist.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known how convenient and comfortable living here would be. Everything is close by, the neighbourhood is quiet, and the building has some really nice facilities. I also didn’t realise how many activities ila organises for residents, such as massages, pedicures and painting sessions. It’s a lovely extra touch that makes living here more enjoyable.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is amazing, there’s lots of local independent cafes nearby. You also have about 7 breweries behind us, who all do local events. The tube is really close too

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

This has improved dramatically since moving to ila, they always respond promptly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The BBQ doesn’t work :( we wish it did as we’d love to enjoy it

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great restaurants and bars, amazing open spaces, there should be more open spaces for very young toddlers and there are not enough mid class clothing shops. Amazing transport links. Parking available at Westferry Car Park.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are not quick enough. Tenancy progression team does not even reply. You have to chase them through your agent.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That they wouldn’t update the toys and mats in the playroom.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This building is perfect location to schools, grocery, retail, battersea power station, etc. Noise level is low. Feels like a busy city setting within a nice community where everyone knows each other.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance and management have been great! Ty & Reuben helped me this week in maintenance. The girls that work the front desk are also fantastic. Anu & Sydney to name a couple, but they are ALL great!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Getting parcels can be an issue so I try not to order anything online. They should have someone organizing that room more because the mailmen don’t put things in the correct flats.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good quality local shops, transport links minutes away. Unfortunately parking is expensive. The people in the area are friendly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Within an instant. I feel whenever a have a problem it’s no issue to get resolved.

Only that we couldn’t choose an Internet provider. ASK4 is twice the price from almost every internet provider you can find.
