Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is great! It is surrounded by lots of amazing restaurants and cafes. We are literally right next door to our favourite restaurant in Glasgow (bucks bar). Everything is in walking distance and despite being next to a pub we rarely see any antisocial behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had an issue with our window and have had the help from all staff to try and get it sorted as quickly as possible. They’ve all always been very polite and friendly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
With the mail in the mail room sometimes you don’t get a code sent to your email. You can sort this on the screen by putting in your email and it will send you an email to give you a code.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Perfectly located in the city centre with convenient transport links, and plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby. Despite being a busy street with quite a lot of traffic, internally the building is very peaceful due to being well insulated. While I don’t have a car in the city with me, it was very easy transporting my items into the apartment with the solid parking options surrounding the building - a number of multi storey facilities, reasonable on-street parking, and a handful of spaces within the building available for tenants to rent. Admittedly the area can seem a little seedy in the evenings and on weekends, but this is likely a mix of being in the centre of a major city and certain streets having a rougher reputation than others. However, the soundproof windows and vast amenities in the building can sometimes lead you to forget you’re in the centre of Glasgow.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I was informed of a couple of minor issues with the apartment noticed by the team shortly before moving in, and these were fixed promptly. Any further maintenance requests I have logged have been addressed with minimal delay. I’m also grateful for the support provided fitting my closet rail and putting together my IKEA drawer unit.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If I was giving one piece of advice to prospective tenants, it would be to expect the apartment to be warm and plan accordingly. While I’m sure the insulation will be great during the cold winters we get in Glasgow, the apartment can be quite warm with the sun shining in during the day and the insulation keeping that heat inside. This isn’t a complaint as I am enjoying the comfort having previously lived in an apartment where I needed blankets and a fan heater, but it’s something for future tenants to be aware of.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area around Granary Quay is peaceful, safe, and well-connected. There are Lidl, Morrisons, Waitrose, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance, with more options easily accessible by public transport. Buses and nearby train stations make commuting simple and reliable. The street itself is quiet and well-maintained — there were no issues with noise or parking, and bin collections were always on time. It’s a calm, convenient place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always been responsive and efficient. Any issues I raised were handled quickly, with clear communication and follow-up.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known earlier is just how supportive and attentive the on-site team would be — it would have made the decision to move in even easier! Also, the community is quieter and more peaceful than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. For new neighbours: don’t hesitate to reach out to Laurie — she’s incredibly helpful and makes settling in much smoother.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Granary Quay is in an excellent position. Close to the Centre and to the West End. The area provides everything necessary for everyday life, including two major shopping centres. For anything else, a short bus or metro ride (less than 20 mins in both cases) leads to all services someone might need. While being so much immersed in the city, the building is still quiet and protected from traffic and noise of the very close Dumbarton Rd. Sometimes, I have the impression of living outside the city and this is very relaxing.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The staff is great! Every time I had a problem, they responded quickly and effectively.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The availability of common areas adds a lot of value. The design of the apartments is great and it makes it possible to live comfortably in a small space.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Location location location! Absolutely brilliant. Literally a minutes walk all your needs including train station into city centre, a minutes walk to local discounted health and sports centre, a few minutes walk to local supermarket markets and fabulous choice of bars and restaurants. Finnieston is a lovely and vibrant area with so much to do.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
First class service! If I have had any queries or queries these have always been responded to immediately.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The apartments are in an immaculate condition we love the layout of the rooms - we really like the interior colour schemes and choice of interior furniture and fittings is brilliant. Really easy to maintain and keep clean and tidy. It’s also great to have Julie located on site and on hand to deal with issues - very friendly and welcoming in helping me and my wife settle in.
