Absolute perfect location for someone moving back into the city environment! On buchanan street with a few minutes, st Enoch subway very close, glasgow green literally on your doorstep. Shops very close, independent restaurants and coffee shops on every corner Amazing spot to be living
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, when we had an issue with our door. I reported it via the website and it was fixed the same day
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Potentially a bit more information about parking in the building and the surrounding area

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Close to good transport links and many shops including discounts for some of them with our candleriggs badge, parking is a slight issue and is expensive so hoping for a cheaper and better solution for parking
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had a few minor issues upon moving in and reported them as soon as to management, Stephen was swift and very professional with our repair work that needed doing, and was also very welcoming to us as we have freshly moved in
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Having a more detailed introduction on the appliances would have been useful as the videos are fairly swift and brief

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great selection of restaurants, bars & shops in a mostly beautiful neighbourhood. We were told before moving in that the derelict lot behind the building would become a park but no progress has been made so far. This means the back alley of the building can feel sketchy at times. Transport links are great with a bus stop right outside the front door and train less than 5 minutes walk away.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance issues are always dealt with promptly and professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the courtyard and rooftop terraces would be closed through the height of summer awaiting a health and safety review.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Candleriggs is right in the city centre, so it would be unrealistic to expect it to be silent. That said, the noise from nearby bars and restaurants usually dies down around midnight most evenings, so it is manageable. The location is excellent: there is a fantastic range of shops, cafés, restaurants and everyday facilities within a five-minute walk. Glasgow Green is also right on the doorstep, which is a real bonus and provides lovely walks along the Clyde with a surprisingly green, almost countryside feel. Transport links are very convenient, with both main train stations within around 15 minutes’ walk, plenty of buses nearby, and the airport bus stop also about 15 minutes away on foot. Bin collection for the building has not always been frequent enough, although there have been some improvements recently.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The on-site building team are generally responsive, helpful and easy to deal with, particularly the concierge/security team and the building’s own maintenance team. Day-to-day issues are usually acknowledged quickly. However, where problems require wider defect remediation or involvement beyond the immediate on-site team, the process can be slow and the communication around timescales could be clearer.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known quite how warm the apartments can get. The building retains heat, and the air-flow system does not seem to be very effective, so the bedrooms can be uncomfortably hot at night even when the heating has not been on for months. It is worth thinking carefully about ventilation, especially if you have a pet or are sensitive to sleeping in a warm room. On the positive side, I also wish I had appreciated quite how sociable the building can be. The shared spaces, resident activities and mix of neighbours make it feel much more like a community than I expected from a city-centre apartment building.
