Our neighbourhood is lovely . We are really happy with our surrounding neighbours. The only thing negative we have to say about the neighbourhood is that the litter is really terrible . Entering Glisk can feel quite unwelcoming when it comes to the slightly litter lying around the houses . This is mostly on Jackswood avenue . This is the same when entering the forest as there is rubbish lying everywhere . Other than that Glisk is lovely . With regards to local shops, I don’t feel like there is a massive variety however if you drive further down to Bromborough , there’s much better shops in terms of options. We don’t have any problems with traffic noise or bad behaviour on our street. We are very pleased with how quiet it is . We don’t have problems with bin collections. Parking isn’t a problem either , our guests park on the curb and we park in our designated parking in front of our home.

Please review your development:

The Northstone development is excellent . The design, layout , everything about it . The layout and design sets it self apart from all the other developments. Northstone has really outdone themselves with the layout and design, I haven’t seen other developments with the same unique design and thought-out layouts. Everything in the house just feels well planned and designed with the user in mind. We are very happy with our Northstone home and can’t imagine finding a development better than this one.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we could have seen what a daily life looks like in the neighbourhood . The litter around the forest and the neighbourhood wasn’t as evident when we viewed the showroom – I do wish we would have seen that to know what to expect from our neighbours . I think it would have also been great for us to know more about the area as we weren’t too familiar with it as we aren’t originally from the UK . Ellesmere Port isn’t the greatest neighbourhood to live in however the Glisk makes it feel like an entirely different area amongst all the other developments surrounding us.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature . Hmmm, I’d probably say I have three. That would be the lootality – I love the functionality of the space , the kitchen – I love how open plan and spacious it is , allowing us to use the space how we want to , and lastly our spacious master bedroom – it is so large and spacious for a new build home

We’re not happy where we are living

It’s the rough area of the Ellesmere Port plus it has many people speed down the road and its constant through out the night.
The parking is terrible as we have to park at the back of the house which courses problems for getting the children out of the car.

Please review your development:

The design is very poor quality in a way that the living room should be at the front and not the back.
The carpets lifts up plus we have noticed the vinyl flooring comes up from the downstairs. The paint which is used is the cheap stuff to the point it marks the walls.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We never got told of where we park. The layout of the rooms

What is the best feature of your home:

The garden as it’s very spacious for the children to run around.

Lovely First Home

Very close to the grocery shops and restaurants. I love that it’s close to Costco. No traffic noise or anti-social behaviour so far over 1 year. The best thing is it is just 10 mins away from M53 which makes it very convenient for commute.

Please review your development:

Modern design. Thoughtful touches. Love that it was ready to move in for us, everything included in the price – white goods, flooring, front and back garden. We did not need to spend too much extra money unlike other developers. Kate Rathbone has been very helpful to us before and after buying the property. Not very fancy with kitchen being at the front of the house. Lootility could have been smaller and either kitchen or living room could have been bigger instead. There is still one snag outstanding after 1 year of moving in. Otherwise, no major issues so far. Pleased with our purchase.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We have not had any major problem so far since moving in.

What is the best feature of your home:

Full height windows
Built-in wardrobe
High quality white goods
Spacious parking
Garden shed
