Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Being in the heart of the city centre, the amenities are all at a walking distance! There is a tesco only a 1 minute walk which opens late 7 days a week which is very convenient. I personally am very happy with the noise as although you’re in the city centre it is still fairly quiet and relaxing. There is the occasional noise when there are events happening but that is a given living in the city centre and is not like that 24/7
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
If I ever had any issue, the management team is very responsive and will ensure the problems are solved
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
To be honest what you see in the viewing is what you get. I was very impressed and it has not disappointed me one bit.

Living on my street is generally pleasant. There’s a good range of local shops, cafés, and independent restaurants nearby, offering everything from groceries to international cuisine. Bars and pubs are within walking distance, making evenings out convenient without needing to travel far. Open spaces like local parks are clean, well-maintained, and popular with families and dog walkers. Transport links are decent—buses are frequent and there’s a train station within 15 minutes’ walk. However, during rush hour, buses can be delayed and overcrowded. Parking can be competitive, especially in the evenings, though permit systems help manage it somewhat. Bin collections are regular, though occasional delays occur. Anti-social behaviour is rare, but traffic noise can be noticeable during peak times. Overall, it’s a safe and convenient place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has generally been responsive and professional when dealing with issues. Maintenance requests are acknowledged quickly, and most problems—like plumbing or communal area repairs—are resolved within a reasonable timeframe. Communication is clear, and updates are provided when delays occur. However, during busier periods or holidays, response times can be slower, and follow-ups are sometimes needed. Overall, the service is dependable and satisfactory
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how limited the parking would be in the evenings—if you don’t arrive early, it can be very difficult to find a spot, even with a permit. Also, while the area is generally quiet, the nearby pub can get noisy on weekend nights, which wasn’t noticeable during the daytime viewing. I’d also advise new neighbours to get familiar with the bin collection schedule early on, as missing a pickup can be a hassle. On the positive side, the local community is friendly and helpful—joining the residents’ WhatsApp group has been great for staying informed and connected

The area is quite busy. There are plenty of shops nearby. The building is closed to the bus and train stations.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They were quite helpful and supportive. Issues were sorted out quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The council tax was higher than expected. However, considering the building location, it makes sense.

perfect location, right next to the bus station and Cardiff central station. Right next to the main street and only 5 mins from most of the restaurants. Occasionally noisy on match days, but the windows are soundproof enough to sleep through it.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When we first sent notice of moving out, immediate response and helpful, friendly advice. Had a visit from Harita to note any damage or repairs and she was very lovely and reassuring.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known that extra storage in the apartment was needed. Just cupboard space for things like appliances or cleaning products.
