Great Location and Strong Amenities

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is one of the best parts of living here. It is very close to both the bus and train stations, which makes getting around Cardiff and traveling outside the city very convenient. There are many good restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops nearby, all within walking distance. My workplace is about a 20-minute walk away, Bute Park is around 20 minutes on foot, and Cardiff Bay is about 40 minutes away. The area generally feels lively but still comfortable to live in. Noise levels are usually reasonable for a city centre location, and there are plenty of nearby conveniences for daily life.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I send an email and they respond quickly and suggest a solution.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I am very happy to be here especially as an immigrant, it made meeting new people a lot easier.

Genuinely amazing living experience with hardly any issues of note.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The accommodation is perfectly centred with the train station being 6 minutes walking distance away. It is also roughly a 10 minute walk to get to the city Center and hub of Cardiff. There is hardly ever any indecency or significant noise outside of regular expected times and bin collection is done in an extremely efficient way. The only problem is that there aren’t more social spaces available. A games room or lounge area detached from the reception would be a great addition to the Platform life I have been enjoying.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

My towel heater had an issue on move in day and they got it sorted for me in less than a week. Any issue I may have or potentially I could have would be addressed with urgency and care which I really appreciate.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish there was an additional social space with a pool table or longer area for studying or relaxing with guests outside of the apartment, that would have made the stay even more exceptional.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of the apartment building is so handy. It’s right next to the train station and a short walk into the city. Very easy to walk to anywhere for anything we need.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Matt, Laura and the rest of the team are all amazing when it comes to any issues. Over the years I’ve had to go to them with various issues and every time I can always trust they will find a solution. They’re incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. Even if I don’t issue, I love walking past reception and saying hi to them.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are two buildings and the north building has the dog friendly roof terrace while the south roof terrace is just for people. It’s handier to live in the north black if you have a dog.

PLATFORM_ in Cardiff, CF10

May 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

One of the best aspects of living at Platform Cardiff is the location and the overall community within the building. It is very convenient, especially for students and young professionals, with easy access to the city centre, Cardiff University, shops, restaurants, gyms, and public transport. The building has a welcoming atmosphere, and staff members such as Laura, Mathew, Jess and Kari have been especially helpful, friendly, and supportive, which has made the experience much more positive and comfortable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has responded well to any issues or concerns I have raised. The team is generally professional, approachable, and quick to help whenever support is needed. Communication has been clear, and problems are usually handled efficiently. Laura, Mathew, Jess and Kari in particular have always been helpful and supportive, which has made the experience much more positive.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before moving in, I wish I had known how strong the sense of community within the building would be and how convenient the location is for daily life in Cardiff. The modern facilities, welcoming atmosphere, and supportive management team have made the experience much better than expected overall.

Been very responsive and made it accessible to raise issues in online portal
