Great location, lots of travelling connections Near to bars, cafes and supermarket options Right next to a park and not far from Deptford Park On street parking outside not allocated Some antisocial behaviour but nothing more than London average Highly recommend the area

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Previously raised issues on the security of the bike storage and it felt like pressure was needed for the team to take it seriously. The postboxes have been pending repair for over a year

Check your doors to the garden are working our a commitment of when they will be fixed

Living in this area has its pros and cons. On the positive side, there’s a good range of local shops, with several grocery stores, bakeries, and independent boutiques. Restaurants and bars offer diverse options, from casual eateries to more upscale dining, and there’s a vibrant café scene. Open spaces like nearby parks are well-maintained and provide great spots for relaxation.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been slow to respond to issues, often taking weeks to address maintenance concerns. While they eventually resolve most problems, the delayed response can be frustrating, and communication tends to be inconsistent.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the parking difficulties and traffic noise in the area, especially during peak hours and weekends. It’s something you don’t fully notice during a short viewing. Additionally, the occasional anti-social behavior late at night is something to be aware of. For new neighbors, I’d recommend exploring local transport options and planning around rush hours to avoid the worst of the congestion. Also, be prepared for varying building management response times when it comes to maintenance requests.

Free parking, lots of local shops and bars, and a green park opposite. Two overground stations + DLR are walking distance away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Sent round a maintenance man quickly, sometimes resolved the next day, sometimes just left unresolved unless continually chased.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is always availability, don't be fooled into thinking if you don't take the flat today you are going to lose it.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’ve been living in New Cross for 3 years now and I don’t have any bad aspects to mention. There are a lot of local shops and supermarkets you can reach in less then 10 minutes, the area is surrounded by parks and is well connected to central London via overground, busses and trains.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always been responsive and supportive in less than 24 hours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I genuinely don’t have anything bad to mention. I love the house, the neighbourhood and the location.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great. Well connected to the city center and the city of London. Very quiet area surrounded by nice parks and green spaces.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The team is always efficient for any urgency we had.

Nothing bad to share. It’s been three years I’m living in my current place and my experience has been extremely positive
