Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is one of The Wullcomb's biggest selling points. It is couple of minutes walk from the city center, so shops and restaurants are all on your doorstep and St Margaret's bus station is just around the corner making getting around a breeze. There's a Sainsbury's bang opposite to the building for everyday essentials, and within the building itself you have Esquires coffee shop and a private fitness center. Leicester Royal Infirmary is also just a few minutes away, which is hugely reassuring and the area has several GPs, dental clinics and schools nearby making it a great fit for all kinds of residents. The building has on site parking and for guests, there are few onsite parking space and ample paid parking around the building. Despite being on a main road, the traffic noise is surprisingly low. Bins are managed by the concierge team so that's one less thing to think about. In terms of safety, Always felt very secure — access to the building is restricted, the concierge team are on hand around the clock, and it's a genuinely safe environment, great for families and kids too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In my nearly 5 years of stay, I had requested adjustments due to unexpected situations, Karl always responded positively. Whenever anything came up, the response was prompt and reassuring. The concierge team are available around the clock and on the couple of occasions things needed dealing with quickly, they were straight on it — no fuss, no delays. Always felt like things were being handled by people who actually cared. Zero headache.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

After nearly 5 years, honestly there's not much I wish I'd known , which is a good sign. I have no complaints. It genuinely felt like more than just a place to live. That's hard to get from a viewing alone.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Easy access to city centre. Now there is a sainburys near by which is ideal. I was fortunate enough to get a parking space so that is handy, and usually there is space for guest parking but sometimes it is an issue. However there is paid parking around the corner.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have fixed my issues. Easy to raise problems within the application. Would be nice to be informed of the outcome. (e.g. washing machine was broken and I wasn't entirely certain when the work had been completed)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No i dont really have anything which I wish I had known before moving in.

Manager response

Wow, what an amazing review, thank you so much! We hope you continue to enjoy your stay with us as much as we enjoy looking after you.

Despite the carpark and fly problems, my overall experience has been positive. I've enjoyed making new friends through the Christmas party and the monthly breakfast gatherings

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

it's convenient because we can walk to the city center for shopping and groceries, which saves me a lot on petrol, However, it can be a bit noisy at times due to ambulance siren

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There is an ongoing issue with assessing the carpark. The automated recognition system cannot detect my car license plate, so I have to call the concierge each time to be let in . It is very frustrating because sometimes I need to call multiple times before anyone answers . I have reported the automated recognition system to the management about 5 months ago, but there is no solution has been provided so far. Apart from this, during the warmer months, a lot of flies come in through the window, I believe measures can be taken to address the fly problem, particularly in and around the rubbish room.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I’d like to know how often the rent will be increased and by how much

Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Recently had a Sainsbury’s local open outside of the building which has been beneficial. Before this, it was difficult to go to the shops as there weren’t any supermarkets close by. The cafe attached to the property is very convenient. Traffic is often heavy outside of the property, however, quiet from the apartment. Bin collection has never been a problem.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very efficiently, within a week at most and it gets resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It is much quieter than you would expect walking to and from the property which is a positive in my perspective.

Manager response

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your great review. It is great to know that any small issues you may have experienced have been resolved quickly!
