Designed very well. Layout is perfect for the 1-bed apartment. Abundance of kitchen cupboard space, storage room, and on-site storage for larger items if needed (at added cost). Management are all super friendly, approachable and resolved any issues we’ve had professionally and empathetically.

Centre of Leicester next to all the local amenities. Short drive from supermarkets. Walking distance from the train station (though takes 25mins).
Secure parking available but at modest cost. Parking available behind Wullcomb at £4/day and courtyard has parking available on first-come.
Bin area is tidy, and emptied weekly. Never run out of bin space in communal bins.
Traffic isn’t noticeable with windows/door closed at back of building. If windows/door open, can be disruptive.

Wish we used the tenant portal more. It’s got really useful info in it. The wait list on parking was longer than expected but parking elsewhere is available and in the courtyard 3 days/w if there is a free space.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We needed a space to park our car ahead of our space being available. They offered us a space that had become vacant for two days free of charge.
The window had broken before bed and we needed concierge to fix it – they came within 15mins and closed it for us for the night, then arranged for a permanent fix the next day as a priority.
Excellent place to live in Leicester
I have lived at Wullcomb for more than a year and I could have not chosen any better place to live in Leicester. It is a very friendly environment, I really felt like home here. The staff are extremely helpful, everything is maintained at high standards, always clean and spotless.
The highlight is the communal area at the 5th floor of the building, it has an amazing view, social events organised are organised here, you can also book the area for your private events.
Overall excellent place to live in!

Great communal area, coffee shop, city centre location. Parking space as well. It might take a while until you get the space, I was lucky to get one when I bought the car.
No bad aspects.

Bath tube issue answered and fixed immediately in just one day or two.
It’s over priced as compared to facilities.
Room carpets needs to be changed. Car park should be cleaned. If possible please change room carpets as they become smelly and feels like
You are walking on hard surfaces. There should be air fresheners in corridors. Frequent cleaning of outside car park area.

There should be more frequent cleaning and heating in corridors. Toilet accessories should be changed as they are rusted.

I am really impressed with the solar energy system at the building.

A Perfect City Home
The Wullcomb has a bespoke design…
With over 250 apartments in the location, there is still space for each individual household and the area does not seem congested.
It also offers several facilities, including the terrace rooftop and a gaming room, and several common sit-in areas in the building.

Absolutely love it here!❤️
I’d say the building design gives me quick exit access to the car park, and also a quicker way to interlink to the main entrance which is a huge advantage for me as I go in and out quite often.
The facility lounge/relaxation area is on the same floor as my flat which makes it even more exciting and did I mention how every details of the facility is extremely unique?

I and my family absolutely love it here at the wullcomb homes. It’s quiet, clean and well secured environment is what we all need to come back to after a busy & tedious day out.
The staffs aren’t only friendly but very professional & always do their best to help out with minor issues.
The rooms are spacious enough for the the kids to create a play area and the beds are super comfy
Really impressed with the lounge area on the 5th floor, the decors, chair setting is impeccable, a place I can sit out with my husband and feel like I’m on a date😁 if you work from home, or looking to chill out with friends it is the PERFECT spot void of distractions, very calm and the view from there is Outstanding.
Haven’t used the gym but feels good to know I’m one step close to one when I feel ready to lose some pounds and stay fit.

I wish there was an open space or a balcony where one can sun dry washed clothes or air dry worn shoes. This is the one thing I’ve complained about since we moved in. It would have made a lot of difference though
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We received an immediate response when we complained about a drainage issue with the bathroom and when one of the shower control panels broke. All issues was resolved within a few hours the most

window
I think the design of the window makes me very upset, because it is too hot in summer, and the window can not be ventilated. I suggest that the French window in the living room can be designed in a form that can be opened, so that it will be more comfortable in summer
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Very close to the city centre, a little far to the train station but acceptable. Because our apartment faces the street, there is often noise when the Windows are open

Be polite and try to understand
I need More sensetive management staff and more cleaning inside of building
The furnitures are very low quality i asked to change sofa but no one interested
This is not good for tenants

The location is nice but the furnitures are very low quality in flats when i compare with rent amount in Leicester. I asked to change beds and sofa but no one interest about my request
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I need more tolerance from staff and more sensetive
So happy to be here…I want to stay longer.
I wanted to live here. I must have driven Karl & Cristina mad with all my emails & tiny window where I was able to view. The pictures online vs viewing did not disappoint. I’m thankful they put up with me & I now get to live in this fantastic building. Everyone is really friendly & approachable. Its handy having the concierges taking in our packages for us. The communal areas are all really nice & well kept. The movie room was very handy while we waited on a tv to be delivered. I’m very happy with the broadband & that I didn’t have to wait for it to be set up. I love knowing I live in a very secure building & know that if I have any issues it’s easy enough to raise them & that I’m listened to.

The only thing I would say is missing is a more local mini supermarket type shop but if you needed a pint of milk in a pinch there are some shops 5-10 minutes walk away. The Highcross, cinema & tons of places to eat are all on the doorstep. I was concerned prior to moving in about traffic noise but this is only a low hum with the windows shut.

There were no surprises. The welcome pack had loads of information in it.

We had a window replaced the same day we noticed a crack in it. It turned out it was spotted on the pre moving in inspection & we were just slow to notice.
Fabulous place to live, safe, secure and staff are always so happy to help. Thank You.
Absolutely not a fault to report and thoroughly enjoying living here. The property is safe and secure and kept immaculate. It is bright and never feels claustrophobic. Roof Terrace is an amazing extra and really nice to be able to enjoy some outside space too.

We are absolutely loving living here, feels so safe and secure and staff cant do enough for you. Would highly recommend it, location is superb for city centre and bus/ train station.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How convenient the location is, we were not from the local area and really can’t believe how perfect the location is, was worried about the busy road but it’s absolutely not a problem, no noise concerns and plenty of pedestrian crossing points.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Responded immediately to general queries, but no issues to report.
Excellent location, feels safe and secure and is well managed.
The development is designed well and it is efficiently managed. It is clean and has lovely communal spaces, I do think perhaps some of the quality of fittings have been “engineered out” to be more affordable, e.g. the heated towel rails are broken, the plastic fittings holding up shelves are weak, the ventilation is poor in the bathroom, and the bedroom door rattles when the window is open. Storage is an issue, as there is little space by the washing machine and boiler and no chest of drawers in the bedrooms. A breakfast bar has been designed with no stools. For the money, you would expect it to be more high-end in terms of fittings but I still really love it!
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Excellent location for cinema and restaurants, especially St Martin’s Square, which is lovely in the summer. It is within walking distance of three parks and many gyms nearby. The courtyard/car park can get noisy, mainly with moving bins at night and lorries reversing with warning sounds, but better with windows and doors closed. The surrounding flats are quiet, as is the corridor.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would advise selecting a higher flat away from the main road because of the road noise. It is great the broadband is included, and it is reliable and fast. There is a free gym class which is excellent, with PT Jack Gibbs.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, but the heated towel rail still has an outstanding issue that has not been resolved.
The lovely wullcomb
There are many pros including the communal area, although the downside is that some residents are not considerate to others. There is a fitness class which is great, would love to see more like this. The only thing that is missing is a gym like other similar buildings nearby.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Excellent location and great staff. The highcross shopping centre is across the road, cannot fault the location whatsoever.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The kitchen utensils are not open for everyone to use. Everything locked away so can’t use if just chilling in the area etc.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Have always received a response, just one ongoing issue being looked at.
Suggestions to improve development
I think there are some suggestions to improve the building: provide supermarket in the same building, balcony in all apartments , and increase size of flat, provide air conditioner for each flat
This is main suggestions that could improve the development

In general everything good
Caffe good choice. Maybe it need to add more restaurants and supermarket

I think maybe in future they should more flexible about renewing contract
And not only provides 1 year contract
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They response well and fast to my issues and inquiries
They provides good management service

Modern lifestyle in Leicester
I moved here since opening in 2019, I was the first to move in my apartment and couldn’t believe the facilities that are included! I love spending time in the terrace on 5th floor, there’s a cinema room, and a shared kitchen for all residents, and I was able to meet people and make connections. I appreciate the management here as they’re always kind and responsive for any inquiries whether in person or in email.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Lovely area surrounded by restaurants, gyms, coffee shops, and department stores. The town centre is 5 minutes walking distance. The bad aspect is the sirens sound which can be very disturbing, but that’s Leicester for you!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I think I would have avoided street view, and went for parking view. As my apartment is on Highstreet and traffic is noisy.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance requests are always met before the estimated time.

Could be better
The building is the best option in the area but, can be better in some aspects:
1) rubbish around: it is common to see rubbish in the lift floor, cigarettes in the car park, cups and rest of food outside and in the common areas.
2) the bins area could be cleaned more often and something should be done to recycle the air in the access corridor.
3) is it common to see rubbish in the flat corridors and stain caused by rubbish dripping.
4) the building management is efficient and always ready to answer about any question. 2 concierges are really professional and supportive. One of the concierges don’t have the behaviour to deal with people.
5) the majority of residents are young multicultural students and sometimes some impoliteness is shown in the lifts for example.
6) I strongly suggest the management could start using the cctv footage to check who is leaving rubbish around, carrying dripping rubbish bags and start applying fees. It is the only way to educate people.
7) it is common to see people trying to access the building or lifts together as they don’t have the card or keys. The concierges must challenge these people.
8) regarding the safety: it is not necessary fire extinguishers in the corridors? There is an electric panel almost in front of my flat’s door and I’m wonder how should I proceed in case of a fire in this panel.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Unfortunately the city centre don’t offer good options of cafes, bakeries and restaurants. It is the same brands found anywhere in England. The area around the building could be unsafe depending of the time of the day, it is possible to see non residents in the car park entrance. Also it is noisy and dirty but, it is seems to be the a problem of the city.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The common areas don’t interest me and always there’s young people talking and laughing loud. The development should have a gym area as the options around are not attractive. The coffee shop downstairs is not a good option as well. But, considering the options in the area the building is still the best option.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management response is always effective looking for solve the issues.

Best you can get in Leicester.
The design of the flats is top-notch. No, complain. The management is the best. They are all friendly and helpful, making it difficult to move out and live elsewhere. The 24-hour concierge is something difficult to find elsewhere. The bike storage is an additional advantage.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
This is one of the best apartments in Leicester in so many ways. Let it be the quality of the flats, area, accessibility, this is the best flat. One minute drawback is the number of parking slots at the premises. Other than that living here will definitely be a lot more comfortable and accessible than other flats I have come across.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There are no complaints as such to date. Everything is at its best.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They update on all the enquiries and resolve the issues within the notice period.
Excellent
I really like the design of the development and how modern it is since there is nothing like it in Leicester and it makes you feel somewhere else. The communal areas are good places to work or invite your friends and family to have a good time cooking, talking or playing.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
For me is very convenient since my work and my gym are 10 minutes away walking, we have several supermarkets, restaurants and shops around the area.
Also my apartment is located on the opposite side of a busy road so even though we are in the centre we still get some quiet moments.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I had found out by other residents that our rent goes up every time we want to renew it. I would have liked the landlord to tell us this beforehand.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have done everything they can to sort out any issues we’ve had.
Great location, good apartments, too expensive
The building design and flat designs are beautiful and clean, very impressive
Facilities for the price are lacklustre as I feel there should be a better arrangement for the games room, there should definitely be a built in gym that’s free for residents on a site this big that costs that much to live there
Parking is too expensive
Good management with always available concierge, post rooms etc
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Great location for activities/food/drinks as just a few minutes walk away from everything in the city centre
Transport links ok not great as buses aren’t next door and train station is 25 mins walk away
Parking limited/expensive either on site very expensive or next door insanely overpriced
NCP good value but a 15 minute walk away
Noise from drunks etc coming back from bars and clubs nearby is often heard at night
Traffic is absolutely constant and quite loud
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Whether the gym located on site was going to be available for free as a resident (wasn’t built before I moved and was told it would likely be free)
How expensive extra services would be like room renting or car parking
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Pretty much immediately helped with any problems I faced
10/10, would recommend
I rent a furnished one bedroom apartment.
The flat was equipped generous amounts of furniture including a washing machine. Floor is not carpeted and easy to clean. Walls are mostly soundproof but you can still hear footsteps upstairs.
Wi-fi speed is very quick although there have been instances of it being down for several days. This was due to a cable issue in the area, nothing to do with the Development and they handled it very well.
The ground floor lobby and common area on the 5th floor are very attractively designed and decorated. I haven’t used these much but it would make a great ‘working from home’ environment.
Rubbish and recycling areas are on the ground floor and easily accessible.
Overall very pleased and I still feel like I live in a hotel whenever I return home from work.

The concierge is excellent and make the biggest difference.
They run a very efficient system in collecting delivery parcels, then storing them for you to collect whenever it is convenient.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The concierge are very friendly and approachable and have always been prompt to address any issues I’ve run into. They make sure everyone is notified if there is a more significant issue that all tenants should be aware of.
Love it, highly recommend!
The block has been decorated really well, I always get lots of comments about it looking so gorgeous from visitors! The communal areas have been designed to be cosy and inviting.
Management/conceirge are super friendly and helpful, and have definitely added positively to my experience living here.

I might have chosen to be on the other side of the block as it gets more light, but I’d chosen this flat without viewing it so was never going to know that before coming in person anyway.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes they usually respond quite quickly, there has been some wait time when needing to order parts for something but mostly things get seen to very quickly.
Best Place to Rent in Leicester!
Great design – every guest comments on how posh my building is. Management is great – never have an issue with bills, facilities, maintenance, or accessing concierge if I have issues – big shoutout to the concierge who helped me turn the electric back on after I had to manually input codes into the meter whilst the direct debit processed! 24 hr post room is also a life saver as I live alone and can’t wait in for packages.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Really close to city centre, walkable to my work, good access to public transport. Don’t drive so can’t comment on parking, but street is reasonably quiet for a city and bins are collected regularly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Pretty much everything was very straight forward – will say that you need to get your electric payments sorted ASAP as the default supplier will turn it off after the courtesy credit runs out! I went away immediately after moving in so was delayed on this, but the concierge was great at helping me input credit codes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
All issues were sorted immediately and with the help of friendly staff!
Change Of Lifestyle
The facilities and staff of the building are some of the best around. Nothing quite like it here in Leicester and it’s so refreshing. The design is modern but cosy and the ability to have areas where you can have guests, cook food and socialise is brilliant. Not to mention the parties that the building owners have put on from time to time. Great experience and always excited to come home.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Living in the city centre is great. It does bring some drawbacks though. Notably sirens. Emergency vehicle sirens all the time, however the windows do block a lot of the noise out. Transport links are good, however you have to walk 10 minutes to the nearest bus station. Bin collections we’ve never had an issue as it’s a central store. Guest parking availability can be slim at times, and I have seen the same cars frequently, making me think that not just guests are using it. Our flat faces the rear so traffic noise is pretty much non existent.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I would have liked to have known is the lack of a small grocery store nearby. I come from a town which has a small co op which is open late and has the essentials. Living in the centre, it’s difficult to find this and usually means going to a large superstore if all you need is a bottle of milk.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management is something I’m always quite wary of, as you hear of landlords that can be really particular about things. Living in this building is a breeze. You report a problem on the portal and it’s dealt with instantly. No checking, no payments to make, they instantly award the job to a contractor and it’s fixed within a week. Really happy.
Overall good place to live security is good
Management is good olny thing is technicians are available only friday so we have to.wait for whole week for anything

Good , respond to problems is okay but technicians are not available, only available on friday
Excellent building and management, location lets it down.
The its a modern, clean design. Communal areas are kept clean and tidy. Building and property management are very good. Most issues I have raised have been repsonded to quickly and action taken shortly after. If you have a dedicated parking space the facilities for parking are good also.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Given the proximity to the city centre the range of shops, bars and restaurants is good. Near some major bus stations and train station is further down the ring road so travel is fine. Pulling into the residence can be awkward given its on the ring road and can only enter it via road from one direction. Parking availability isn’t great, if you don’t have a dedicated space in the property the alternatives aren’t cheap or easy. Anti-social behaviour in some areas outside of the property are a problem.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Learning the routes to be able to arrive at the entrance from either direction on the ring road.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Replies to issues are given promptly with any actions taken given sufficient notice and done to a high standard.
My enjoyment in the Wullcomb
The Wullcomb is the first place to stay in Uk. When we were still in Hong Kong. We were looking for apartments that is pet friendly. Then we found The Wullcomb on Zoopla. We were glad that we can rent this place even we are still in Hong Kong. Thanks for the help of the agency. Our cats and us love living in this beautiful apartment . And the people here are so friendly and helpful. That make us more easily to fit in the UK.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
The Wullcomb located in LE1. You can get everything you need around you. Just a walking distance can access to the city center. Although we are still on the waiting list of the parking, NCP is also a good place to park and it’s nearby.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
For us, I think probably about the parking waiting list. That’s the only thing we want to know before we move in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The staff here are nice and helpful. But there are still have some times that can’t see them in the office. This may take several times to take my parcels.
Comfortable apartment in central location
The building is modern in appearance with an elegant design. All the communal spaces are stylish and have been finished to a high standard. The rooftop terrace is nice with a communal BBQ that can be booked out. The on site management and concierge team are brilliant, they are friendly and genuinely take interest in getting to know you.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
It is a central location, so walking distance to the main city centre area and local mall is just across the road. There are no bars close enough to hear the noise from but if your flat is facing the main road you will hear the traffic noise with the window. All the residents are polite and there’s no noisy neighbours. The communal areas, including the rooftop area are kept clean.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The noise from the road is something I did not expect when the window is open.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management is excellent. They respond to questions and deal with any issues quickly.
Hands down the best apartments in Leicester
The design of The Wullcomb is stunning. Priort to moving in, I had lived abroad for a decade and when I returned to Leicester I was quite gobsmacked that such a nice building existed here! Architecturally, it wouldn’t be out of place in downtown San Francisco. The place is kept spotlessly clean by the amazing cleaners that work daily and there is always a very welcoming and professional vibe about everything throughout the building. The Perch on the 5th floor is a fantastic asset, with a communal lounge, kitchen, tv room and the amazing roof terrace complete with a BBQ! I love the little touches like the books and board games the management leave in the various locations like The Perch, the post room and even the little nooks dotted around the various floors. This attention to detail is probably lost on a lot of people but I love it.
The stars of the show are the on-site management team. You will see this mentioned in pretty much every review of The Wullcomb and for good reason. They go above and beyond in every respect for the residents living here, to make sure we have everything we need to enjoy living here. They will help you with anything you need, from trollies to help you move in or out, clarifying any questions you might have, receiving your post/parcels any time of day and storing them safely ready for you to collect, dealing with any issues that arise inside your apartment, and most of all just being friendly faces you can chat to any time you pass the office. They are the heart and soul of The Wullcomb and I know that other neighbouring apartment buildings don’t have management teams that even come close to the guys here.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
The location is second to none. The Highcross is literally across the road, centre of town a 5 minute walk, the level of shops, services and amenities in the location is unbeatable. There are numerous big supermarkets within a 5 minute drive/bus journey, which is as much as you can ask for living in the city centre.
I have never witnessed any antisocial behaviour in the 4 months I have been living here. My apartment faces Vaughan Way, so there is understandably a level of traffic noise at certain times of day but the windows are incredibly good at keeping this noise to a minimum and even with the windows open you very quickly acclimatise to the background noise. It’s not an area full of pubs and bars and is surprisingly secluded for such a central location in that respect.
On-site parking is available at a reasonable price and there is a large communal bin room, both of which serve their purpose excellently.

There are no nasty surprises about the apartments in The Wullcomb but some small tips from my experience living here so far:
Buy a portable air conditioner for the summer months because with the temperatures reaching over 30 celsiuis it does get quite unbearably hot in the apartments and fans don’t quite cut it. We got a little air conditioning unit and it really took the edge off and made the bedrooms cool enough to sleep comfortably during july and august.
The living room and bedroom(s) have a socket with connectors for a tv aerial, satellite and DAB radio. I’m not a fan of Sky and I prefer the free to air tv options. I found that the signal on some channels using the aerial connection was a bit patchy and Freeview didn’t work too well. So if you’re looking for a free to air option I would recommend a Freesat box or even better an Enigma 2 based box like the Octagon SF8008, as these will pick up all FTA satellite channels and the satellite signal at The Wullcomb is perfect.
There is a waiting list for a space in the on-site car park, so while you wait for your space there is a public car park in the street behind The Wullcomb (Cumberland Street) that costs £4 per 24 hours, which is very reasonable for the city centre. There is also the John Lewis car park next to it but that’s considerably pricier.
In relation to utilities, fast fibre broadband is provided in all apartments at no extra cost at The Wullcomb. You do have to pay for electricity, water and council tax, so make sure you register for all three in advance of moving in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We haven’t encountered any maintenance issues yet but I know from all of our dealings with the management team so far on other issues that any such issues would be dealt with efficiently and professionally.
Very happy with life in the Wullcomb
The apartments themselves are very nice, the layout is good and the large windows help open the space up really well. The building facilities are excellent, the concierge and building staff are very helpful and nice and it makes receiving packages really easy. Overall we have no complaints as the building is very quiet and a nice place to live.

The Wullcomb is in a great location, especially convenient for those who study or work in one of the local universities and it is right next to the Highcross shopping centre. The building is right next to a busy main road, but we live in a street-facing flat and there is very little traffic noise.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish we would have known about the automatic light in the en-suite, it is a bit awkward with going off during baths etc. but we’ve got used to it.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
All issues we have had were sorted through an online maintenance system, which were sorted out in the following couple of weeks.
Great living experience overall
Very modern styled and aesthetically pleasing lobby. The flat is stylish with the ceiling to floor glass windows. It would be great if it also came with a microwave, but it comes with the white goods and a kitchen island which is a great touch. The highlight of the building is definitely the rooftop and direct access to coffee shop from the lobby.

Wonderful Wullcomb!
Co living design well thought out and rooms are well appointed. Facilities and property management rival those of a 5 star hotel another level compared to the existing accommodation options here in Leiceste

An excellent Development providing modern, clean and well-maintained home
We simply love the facilities esp the lift lobby and the common floor — its terrace and the view are unique and simply beautiful. The design and quality of both the common areas and the flats (including the furniture and everything provided), and their maintenance, are also excellent. The commons areas are all very clean, tidy and well maintained. We have been living here for over a year and enjoy every bit of our stay. The management team are all very friendly, helpful and responsive.

The building is situate right next to John Lewis and the adjacent shopping mall where you basically get all your need. It is also located at the city centre where a wide variety of high-quality restaurants, cafes and shops can be found. St Margaret’s Bus Station is just a few minutes’ walk away and the train station is also within walking distance. Perfectly accessible and convenient.

Not applicable to us. But for people preferring quieter living they may better request for flats in the Development that face away from the main road Vaughan Wy.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We moved to the UK and made The Wullcomb our home. Karl.B and his team made the process so easy and helped us with nay of our needs. They have a very refreshing and professional attitude. The Wullcomb is by far one of the most beautiful places to stay. Not only for the apartments but for the views which surround the building. Thanks again to Karl.B and his team for making it an amazing experience.

Modern apartments with incredible management staff
Apartment designs are modern with up-to-date tech and facilities. Concierge/Management staff are the best I have ever experienced 10/10 – friendly, attentive and always go the extra mile. Same goes for the Coffee shop downstairs, very convenient!

Shops/Restaurants very close by. Provided parking is secure and CCTV monitored. Traffic noise is ok.

That there is no option for monthly rolling contracts after a fixed term
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, and always go the extra mile to resolve quick
Excellent location to stay, well maintained with friendly staff!
Great design, 24hrs concierge services, and modern facilities to hang out with your friends in multiple areas such as post room and lounge on the ground floor and perch on the fifth floor with TV/games room, and terrace area with greenhouse. Recently, fitness Monday evening sessions were also introduced which could be a plus for health-conscious renters. There is a high-end fitness studio but the prices are too high and unoccupied commercial space ground floor could be better utilised with essential shops or own GYM studio.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
The location is very close to Highcross/town centre, John Lewis, Lanes 7 etc. Easy to walk to and get required food/essential supplies from nearby Tesco/Aldi. Dedicated parking is available at extra cost, and guest parking is available in the courtyard but they are limited spaces available and they are usually full.
As my apartment looked onto the main road and on the 3rd floor, initially, the local council imposed restrictions on opening windows due to pollution and risk to health but rooms in summer would get really hot. We were later allowed to open the windows which helped the temperature in the room but pollution would make the room dusty and polluted very quickly. The inbuilt vent for fresher/cleaner air supply could be more configurable and kept maintained more regularly.
Also, the WIFI router’s admin portal should be accessible to allow residents to control their home network devices more efficiently.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If the quality of air is very important for your health, please ensure to clarify which room, floor levels and facing directions of your flat to judge the pollution levels you might be exposed to.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
All the problems or issues logged in the system or verbally to the concierge team or management team were promptly followed up and addressed effectively.
I really enjoyed my time staying at the Wullcomb and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a City Center apartment.
The property has a lovely design and lots a space on the rooftop terrace and comfortable public areas to lounge and hang out with friends. The management company are all lovely and friendly and make you feel at home, the 24/7 concierge makes you feel safe at all hours and there’s never any worry about being at home to collect parcels etc as the concierge will kindly collect and store until your able to pick up. The only thing missing is a free on-site gym for tenants which would’ve been nice to have.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
The property is located in a convenient location within the City Center, quite enough to feel like your not in the City but conveniently located across the road to the cinema, various restaurants and the shopping center. There’s free on-site visitor parking available on a first come first serve basis which majority of the time has been available for any visiting friends to park.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The key cards for the main entrances are a bit of a pain, would’ve been more convenient if it was a fob which could be attached to your keys.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Online portal makes it easy and convenient to deal with any rent payments and they are fast at responding to any maintenance issues within the flats.
