Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve lived in Leicester all my life, therefore I know the area well, The Wullcomb is in close proximity to many of the bars, restaurants, shops and theatres. The local parks are also within a short walking distance. Bus and transport routes from the location are also a short walking distance. In terms of antisocial behaviour, The Wullcomb is a concierge managed building; and in the 6 years at the location personally have not come across any issues.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues I have raised have been dealt with in a timely manner via the resident portal app.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
N/a as I was well advised of all required information prior to moving in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Absolutely love living here and as a young girl living independently feel safe and secure. Always someone on hand to contact if I ever need it. My parcels are always taken in safely which is so helpful.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes. I have had minimal problems but washing machine, smoke detectors and a broken toilet were attended to quickly and efficiently.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing to report. The only possible thing would be that sometimes it is difficult for visitors to park.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Really good location, just across the road from Leicester city centre. Good parking options too, either directly at the Wullcomb or big car park just next door.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always responded promptly, and if there was any sort of delay this was always communicated well
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing, just wished I’d used the communal space more!
Manager response
Thank you so much for your amazing review Olivia, it is greatly appreciated by all of the team. It was great to look after you for 4 years, we miss you already. We wish you all the very best for the future!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Wullcomb is an excellent place to live. After selling my house, I wanted the freedom to focus on travelling and building my new business, and living here has allowed me to do exactly that, completely stress-free. Karl and his team have been outstanding; they’re always available, supportive, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The team here are extremely proactive and always quick to assist with any maintenance issues. The communal areas are excellent, and my business partner regularly works from my apartment without ever having problems with parking, thanks to the team’s support. Johan provides a warm welcome to my guests and ensures we’re well looked after, while Raj is always helpful with parking when needed. The entire team are consistently attentive and ready to assist whenever required
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I received all the information i needed when i was shown around by Karl
Manager response

The property is very close to all shops and restaurants

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The property is very close to all shops and restaurants as it is located exactly opposite Highcross centre. Bus stops to multiple locations are located a 5 minute walk away, and the main bus station is a 10 minute walk down the road. I was very comfortable living here as it was extremely close to all amenities and my place of work. Although I didn't own a care, there is parking available at an extra cost.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I never had any major issues with the building, however the management team helped me a lot when I had questions about council tax, utilities, etc when I first moved in.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I had moved in after only seeing a video of the property I rented as I was living abroad at that point. I was very happy when I saw the place in person as it was exactly as was promised.
Manager response
Thank you so much for your amazing review Adrienne, we miss you already! It is great to hear that you were confident to book remotely & that you feel you got exactly what was promised. We have lots of people booking internationally & so this is really good feedback. Thank you for your great comments on the building & the team, it is very much appreciated. If we can help you again in finding a home, please do get in touch. Best wishes from all of the team at The Wullcomb.
