This is a quiet and clean building In the heart of Elephant and Castle with lovely entrance and surroundings. Fantastic transport links to everywhere in the city. Parks and supermarkets with walking distance. Good facilities such as mailroom, bike storage and rubbish room. Intercom connects with our phones so we can receive parcels into the mailroom even when we are not at home. We really enjoying living here.

The building is relatively near to Burgess and Kennington Park where there are plenty of options for exercise. Walking distance to Imperial War Museum where there is a lovey grass areas for picnics. There are frequent buses to almost everywhere in the city, and if not directly can be easily done with two buses. It is walking distance from Elephant and Castle with Northern And Bakerloo Line and Kennington Station where you have access to both streams of the Northern Line. The building entrance is lovely with stylish garden plants. There is a back entrance where there is a bike storage room to keep bike stored securely. There is a bin room where rubbish is sorted by recyclable and non recyclable. There are supermarkets with walking distance such as Sainsbury’s and Tesco. There are security cameras around the building who sense movement, so we feel super safe. The building is quiet and clean. We almost don’t see the neighbours but when we meet them they are polite and friendly.

We are very happy to have moved in here. I am struggling to think something bad. The only down side is not having a proper parking space. Although the road at the back has spaces to park at no cost. All the things are very good as mentioned in detail previously.

What is the best feature of your home:

Since the ceiling is a bit lower, we have great thermo isolation. The house gets warm very fast even in winter and we spend very little on electricity. The building is located in a closed road and our windows face another road without exit so it is super quiet even though we live in the heart of London with amazing transport links.

The buildings are new (about 10 years) and modern. There are cameras everywhere and the buildings are pretty safe. The flats are not big but they are just fine for central London. The thermal isolation is pretty good and the energy bills are quite low because of that. I love the design of the buildings too.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very close to lots of tube, bus and train stations. You can commute to almost any place in London in up to 30 minutes. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets only a 10 minutes walk. It is very quiet all the time, because it is not by any of the main roads, although you can get to the main road in less than 5 minutes walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They usually respond pretty quickly when there is a problem with a door or with the intercom for example.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was concerned that the flat could be too small when I saw it empty, but it feels just perfect now that we have all the furniture. It is just a matter of making clever choices to use the space well.

the area is very convinient and close to tesco express. its also a 5 to 7 minute walk to either train stations. the car noise level has dropped off dramatically due to the road being close off. very happy!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

the building area is quiet however its occassionally noisy due to a lot of students living in a building close by.
