The Silver Yard, B4

We’ve had a really positive experience living at The Silver Yard. The building is very well maintained, and the shared spaces are always clean, modern and pleasant to use. One of the biggest advantages is the range of resident facilities. The co-working space, meeting rooms, gym and private dining room are all excellent. I especially loved the private dining room — it’s spacious, beautifully designed and feels genuinely luxurious. I’ve used it several times when having guests over and it has always made the occasion feel really special. The reception and concierge team are absolutely excellent — always friendly, responsive, helpful and available whenever you need them. Having 24/7 concierge and security also gives a real sense of comfort and peace of mind. The team takes very good care of residents’ parcels and deliveries, and they have always been supportive whenever we’ve needed any help or assistance. The communal areas, including the corridors and lobby, are consistently kept very clean. The apartments themselves also feel high quality, with good furniture, finishes and reliable appliance brands. Our Bosch washing machine and dishwasher, for example, have been excellent and very energy efficient. We’ve also been fortunate to have lovely neighbours, which has made living here even more enjoyable. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. You’re within very easy reach of Birmingham city centre and the main business areas, while Birmingham Central Library, the universities, Selfridges and the Bullring, the canals, theatres and many of the city’s main attractions are all within a very reasonable distance. Overall, The Silver Yard has been a comfortable, secure and very convenient place to live, with excellent facilities, a fantastic reception team and a genuinely high standard of maintenance. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a modern city-centre home in Birmingham.

The development is well designed, with modern buildings and attractive communal areas that are generally kept clean and presentable. The location is convenient, with good access to local shops, restaurants, public transport and other everyday amenities. The overall atmosphere is pleasant,

Excellent built Very well maintained The only issue I think is the bin collection but that’s a city issue not a silver yard issue The only negative I’d say is the heat wave has been crazy and we can’t hand things so need some cooling arrangement Further to that the concierge. I really enjoy living in The Silver Yard as a building. My apartment itself is perfect for me (just myself living here), a great size, and has everything I need. The bills are generally a reasonable price here as well. In terms of the wider building facilities, I regularly use the gym and find it to be more than suitable, and I haven't had much chance to try out the social spaces, other than for a wonderful flower arranging workshop that the on-site team hosted. I find Veronika to be particularly helpful and nice from this team. I've had some minor issues living here so far; noise from one of my neighbours being one of them, with them playing loud music and portraying anti-social behaviour. This was reported and hopefully being monitored. There was also some small issues such as a leak from the kitchen sink and a leak from the window, both of which were tended to by the on-site team very quickly, so I have no issues here. In terms of getting my moneys worth? £1200 is a lot to pay on your own, and with some of the issues faced, I don't know if it is quite worth it, but it's hard to find developments of a similar calibre for cheaper. I'd recommend it for a professional couple.

Common areas, including the lobby and hallways, are always tidy and welcoming, which enhances the overall impression of the property.
