The apartments themselves are excellent and if high standards. The staff are always at hand as and when you need anything. Prior to me moving in I contacted a number of places and this one was prompt and answered all my needs which made it perfect.
From the moment you walk in you greeted with a smile and the standards of the building are high with a team of people cleaning the public areas daily (Monday to Friday).

The location if these apartments is really good. You have a tram stop right outside, bus stop within walking distance and if that’s not enough you have both East and West Croydon stations within walking distance.
They also offer parking which is right outside or below the building and a very competitive rate.
In regards to getting food there are a number of take aways and restaurants as well as local supermarkets within walking distance as well as Croydon Town centre.

They have responded within minutes during office hours or within an hour of the next working day if I queried something over the weekend.
The property is fitted with modern smart appliances, comfortable chair and desk for working at home and fast internet
The reception is serviced by a great team. The property is fitted with modern smart appliances, comfortable chair and desk for working at home and fast internet. The laundry area is shared. However, there are many washing and drying machines. These are operated by the use of an app. You can also use the app to check the availability of the machines/ dryer. The property is secured and accessed with smart keys.

The good:
– The property is about a 2mins walk from East Croydon Station. Trains from this station to London Bridge take about 15mins. So easier to get to work
– Other transport lines are also close by. The tramline is right in front of the property. West Croydon for the overground service is about 5 minutes away
– Great shops for groceries (Waitrose & Sainsbury are 30 seconds away). Other shops are also within reach.
– Boxpark and many restaurants in the area
– Lots of banks within a minute’s walk
The Bad:
– There are parking services, but it comes at an additional price per day
– Peak hour train rides might be a bit expensive. However, off-peak and weekend train rides are about the same price as the underground (depending on zones)

Unfortunately, there’s no aircon. So on hot summer days one needs to get a fan or a portable aircon
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
None noted. They have however tested all appliance to ensure that they are operating correctly.
Great place to live, excellent travel links and good value for money
Management are friendly and helpful and will help you with any request quickly. Design of the building is great, lots of lifts and generally a nice space to come home too, I love showing guests my apartment.
Wish there was a gym in the building or they offered some sort of discounted rate at a local gym. Weekends can be busy for laundry as there aren’t many washing machines.

Great local amenities, very close travel links within walking distance. Parkings on site is great for guests.
Occasionally homeless people on the streets behind the building but have never been bothered by them.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very quick to respond and take action is necessary. Had issues with doors slamming often and the management tightened the door so they wouldn’t slam no violently.
One of the best places in Croydon
-The whole building is very well-maintained and clean. The reception is very welcoming and you get a pleasant fragrance as soon as you enter. It’s these small details that really make a difference.
– the rooms are very modern and well kept. State of the art equipment and any issues are resolved very quickly by just calling the front desk.

It is literally right opposite the Whitgift mall where you can find almost everything you are looking for. It’s also just a few minutes walk to both East and West Croydon train stations. Plus the tram station is right outside the building.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It’s about space management.
The rooms are comfortable but it’s not very spacious, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye out for druff which can maximise your storage space especially for the kitchen
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes. There were a few equipment issues with my microwave but this was resolved promptly
Love living here!
Love how sound proof the place is. They kindly installed TV in every room. Very responsive and quick if any issues. Nice to have flat rate energy bills. Communal area is really well maintained.
Packages are received and brought to your door. Really well run!

Croydon is very well connected considering it’s quite far out. Lots of trains and buses to pretty much anywhere in London quite easily. Lots of great shops. Area can be a little rough

Would’ve been nice to have a clothes washer installed in room. Prices are reviewed every six months upon renewal.

Great stay. Amazing service
I had an amazing one and a half years at The Quarters in Croydon. The maintenance of the building was really great and the people working at the reception were amazing. I had some technical issues when I moved in, but every issue raised was solved within the week.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
It’s quite central in Croydon. All the necessities are nearby and for the most part the area is really nice.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There was a building being constructed next to the Quarters. My room was on the side of the building so it could be very loud sometimes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management responded the same day the issue was raised and most issues related to maintenance would be solved within the week
Simply the best place in Croydon
I LOVE this place. Lived here just ended a year ago but moved to the new development, Ten Degrees. Biggest mistake of my life. Worst place I’ve ever moved too so decided to come back to the Quarters as I know it’s THE best place in Croydon to live. Cheap rent, cheap bills (£60 fixed) and cheap council tax. They have even installed flat screen TV’s in every room! Both Indre and Giorgia on reception are lovely and have always promptly helped should anything have arisen. I would HIGHLY recommend the Quarters to anyone.

Shops everywhere so you’re only a short walk from all of them. Great transport links, trams outside the Quarters or a two minute walk to East Croydon station or hop on a bus across the road. Parking great both inside and out with cameras everywhere so safe too. Bins always collected and no rubbish scattered around like in other places I’ve lived. Residents are all polite and friendly which makes a huge difference. No traffic noise as I am at the back of the building.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing. I moved back because the place suited me perfectly.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, blocked sink reported on a Friday which was dealt with on the Monday while I was at work. Simple and easy!
Happy I chose to live here :-)
I love the design of The Quarters Croydon, it’s neat and well presented, with a lovely smell throughout the reception area. They have laundry facilities, I do wish a few more machines were available, but if I go on a good day, I can still do laundry which is helpful. Building management has never been an issue for me, if I ever needed something to be repaired or investigated (which hasn’t been often) they tend to it right away or at their earliest convenience. Lastly the properties management I feel makes The Quarters Croydon what it is, they have always been polite. Since moving here Giorgia has been amazing, well respectful, and approachable. All the staff members to be honest have been. They’re lovely

I have been living at The Quarters Croydon for just over 1.5 years now and I absolutely love it, I always have since I first moved in. The staff are lovely, the environment is clean, and the location is perfect. It has not been an inconvenience living here. The area is a hotspot, very close to TWO shopping centres which I am at all the time, it’s so much easier to get simple errands done too: especially during the working day. Social life for me is also brilliant, there are plenty bars, food spots and local cafes to eat at. I have been to a few; I’ve got plenty more to tick off on the list. Regarding the transport links, East Croydon station is literally a 5-minute walk away, it’s convenient for me to get into central London. So many bus routes also, which is great for getting me into work. West Croydon station is also less than a 10-minute walk, allowing me to access the overground. Overall transport has not been an issue. Furthermore, being a driver and a resident at The Quarters will be great due to their parking spaces available at the back of the property and underground parking. There is always a spot to park up. This is great especially because parking can be limited within the central Croydon area at times. Lastly, living on this street has been ok for me, no complaints. It’s easy access to local shops and supermarkets and its well-lit road/area which is highly reassuring for my safety.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Personally I was fully aware of what I was signing up to. The video viewing was a great idea during the lockdown, I would say it was sufficient but I couldn’t see the full size of the place; just to feel how large it would be. However Giorgia was kind enough to let me view an identical empty flat so I was able to know what to expect when moving in when I came to look over some documents prior moving in. I did appreciate this because it helped me be more aware of what I needed to move in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have always responded to problems in a timely manner. Note, I have not had any significant problems/faults since living here which is great. Once I log a fault, it’s usually followed up as soon as possible, I appreciate this. It reduces stress for me having to run around and look for a solution, plus it’s reassuring knowing they are completing the job well to a great standard.
Excellent
The apartments are modern and well designed, with most utilities included in the price. The building is very secure and it is not possible to access any floors without a fob. The shared spaces are well kept and constantly cleaned. Most importantly, the staff is fantastic and ready to help in no time.

The building is located in a very good position. The surrounding area boasts lots of grocery stores, restaurants and various other kinds of shops and amenities. The East Croydon station is literally behind the corner and offers a quick link both to Central London and Gatwick. Absolutely recommended.

Perhaps it would have been better to know that, although the internet connection is free, it is necessary to repeat the login procedure every couple of hours. Otherwise, it is possible to have a stable connection with no interruptions starting at £20 per month, which is anyway a good price.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management is always available to help and rapidly satisfied all my requests. Fantastic team.
Fantastic Development and place to live
I have been living at The Quarters Croydon for several years now and could not recommend it more highly. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, quiet and secure. The management team is always quick to respond to any query and always friendly. The location is fantastic as well – a short walk to east Croydon station and right near all local amenities. Fantastic place to live!

The only thing would have been the wifi connection, but that has recently been improved and is no longer an issue.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always on time and with great communication. Couldn’t ask for more.
A great team
The management team is amazing they are very nice and will help with anything you need. They listen to suggestions and are always trying to bring in new ideas. If anything need fixing in your flat they will do it in the same day or next day morning. The design of the building is very modern and spacious. Very green with lots of new plants being brought on.
There’s a backyard corner with a bench which is very nice to get some fresh air.
The team receives all your packages and delivers them in the end of the evening
The building os always very clean and smells good

The building is located near the main train stations in Croydon and you can get in central London within 15min. Building has its own parking so no need to worry about parking.
Box park is just in the back which is good for food and drinks. There’s lots of option on deliveroo
Whitgift centre and central shopping have lots of fashion shops and you can get the tram straight to IKEA if you need

The laundry room is small fir the entire building so sometimes during the weekend is too busy. You gotta find times that work better and are less busy. I work shifts so I can wash my clothes during the week when there is less people using it
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They are amazing any problem I’ve had was fixed in the same day or the following day in the morning
