We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

The paddocks is a nice place to live overall, and if you have kids very convenient. There is absolutely no sense of community but that's normal for new builds. The taller houses block out a lot of sunlight which is bad, but this is another reality of new housing developments. We live on the edge next to a field so its not too bad. If i was to suggest an improvement it would be more of a village style design instead of trying to cram-in as many houses as physically possible.

The estate is managed by Bournville Village Trust, whom issues can be reported to such as street lights not working, or damaged play area equipment for a quick fix. The design of the estate is in line with the village and managed well to look and be kept smart and presentable.

The development is ok, I picked a plot on the edge which has a good location - away from as many houses as possible. The parking design is poor. It took the developers 4 years to put in a simple path that diverted people away from the gap in the hedge.

For a new build its not too bad. We have numerous but relatively small issues but Keepmoat have kept in touch and their handyman has been around a few times. Watch out for alternative housing tenants though as people can be given houses you've paid a third of a million and they have no respect.
