Good house design and facilities.So in love with my kitchen arrangement, integral garage and parking space. The building and property management is on the average as it takes a while for raised concerns to be addressed.

Good location for schools and bin collections and no traffic noise.But no local shops available.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Have a good understanding of the location of your property.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They don’t respond on time from my past experience.

Design of property was great, would have preferred bigger kitchen. Building/property management was good when staff on site but emailed about a concern within our warranty and no one came out when said they would then when emailed to chase there was no reply so issue still there.

Great group of neighbours. Very family friendly – parking is okay can sometimes be tight but not too bad. Not close to local shop or cafes which would be nice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Check doors and windows open and shut in all rooms in winter as house can settle and can be issue in summer if left.

What is the best feature of your home:

South facing garden and size of bedrooms was good size.

Excellent design of the first phase with plenty of space between plots and adequate parking. Poor building management company in charge with very little work completed to maintain areas and the balancing ponds have never been completed to the advertised standard.

Friendly and safe neighbourhood with lots of amentities within walking distance. Great neighbours and excellent schools within walking distance. Very quiet with lots of wildlife nearby.

More awareness of the gradient in the garden and better understanding of the landscaping on site.

What is the best feature of your home:

Love the amount of space and the garden. Fantastic kitchen and dinner. Large bedrooms and high quality bathrooms.

We were sold ecological ponds which isn’t the case. They are overgrown, messy and full of weeds and rubbish. Property management via Lovell are slow and inconsistent. We’ve had huge issues since moving in (flooring and shower leaks due to plumbing and sealant being done wrong). Wasn’t told about the social housing being built directly opposite too (noise, anti-social and messy).

House is spacious and nicely designed however too many errors when buying the property, eg – we were told washing machine was included, we turned up to move in with a huge gap in the kitchen, ruining the whole aesthetic of the kitchen as it wasn’t included or integrated. Hugely disappointing for the price you pay for a house.

Great location – close to the train station and town centre, good transport network if you drive.
Open space is limited as it’s being over crowded with new houses. Street is quiet and peaceful.

Social housing – we were not told they were all being built directly opposite
Service change on ponds
Lamp post built directly outside windows

What is the best feature of your home:

Spacious rooms with lots of light. Nice colour windows

Nice plots, and lots of land, need a few parks and more walks but lovely and modern without being an awful area. Very pretty in the evenings and nice being on top of the hill! The building management is very quick to do the work but does need a prod sometime to get round to it!

Very lovely location, close range to everything needed and a pretty area, but lack of local shops and parking.

It would be nice to have more storage in the house, and parking within the development.

What is the best feature of your home:

The kitchen is lovely and usable, the living ability has been well thought about.

Lovell are so good in managing their properties. Each time you report a fault they will come to repair it. The design is modern and stylish and eye catching. Need to have the big children play area with lots of swings . The play area in Gatcombe way covers houses for Queensbury park and the development for tilia homes as well.

The good part is that the area is so quite no noise no anti social behaviour. and is close to the motorway to those that drive. The bins are always collected on time,
The bad side is that there is only one bus per hour and sometimes the bus doesn’t turn up. It is disappointing if the kids has to go to school.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The good part of ours is that there is no noise. Just quite. Everyone minds their own business.

What is the best feature of your home:

The kitchen and the family room. I van cook at the same time chatting to my family members

The house is a beautiful detached 3 bedroom with a spacious garden. The outside looks posh, much like all of the house designs on the development. The houses are spread out more than on other new developments. The area as a whole is kept well and the development is peaceful and relaxed

Short drive from the Town centre but the location is quiet and peaceful. Lake nearby for a beautiful walk. Parks and schools closely. Quiet street, no traffic noise

The only thing I wish the house had is a door from the garden to the garage as you have to walk around the house. We’ll be building one on our house

What is the best feature of your home:

The spacious garden and the large kitchen diner. The bedrooms are a good size.

Am so in love with my house design alongside the integral garage. My kitchen is well designed to suit all my needs.
The building is strong and i have not had any issues with the staircase or leaks from the roof,also the electrical facilities are well fitted,I have no issues with that.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love my location,quite close to my son’s school and our place of worship.
Although, there are no local shops around,I don’t consider that a problem as I drive.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I got to know about local shops and the need for driving.

My kitchen,integral garage,parking space and my big garden.

Queensbury Park – A honest review

You get what you pay for, more or less. The soil of the back garden could have been better levelled off. The build is solid, only problem that I have had to this date was with a guttering pipe dislodging from its position caused by wind forces. The management of the attenuation ponds need to be taking place more often, twice a year to cut the overgrown weeds is just not enough.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Currently there is a lack of shops at walking distance. However, it seems that the council approved the construction of a Lidl supermarket just behind the development.

Streets are nice and quiet, parking is always available and people do park half onto kerb as required.

Bin collections are on Fridays and never had any problems with them.

Neighbours are friendly, having lived here for 2 years now, I have never seem any anti-social behaviour.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew about the shared sewage pipe in my back garden, which was clogged with baby wipes from my neighbours and ended up overflowing on the ground. This was on the first week after I moved in. The builder paid for a company to clean it all up but they never replaced my new turf grass as they had promised. The neighbours were notified and thankfully this never happened again.

What is the best feature of your home:

Privacy – being my first detached home, the freedom to play music and be as loud as you want without disturbing anyone.
