Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's a nice area to live in and we're close to travel and schools. We've never had any issue with antisocial behaviour

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had an issue with our fire alarms going off continuously it took simple life over a month to get this sorted which should of been an emergency and fixed within 4 hours not 4weeks and I had no downstairs lighting for the duration as the lighting was linked to the fire alarms and we had to turn it off.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just how much of a drain financially the house would be rent wise with everything else going up the rental price of the house is very expensive

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Plenty of local shops, restaurants and open spaces avaliable in a walking distance. We're a bit of a way away from any train stations but we do have good parking and bus routes available. The bin collections are a pain as we have to take them to the front of the estate because of an issue a bin van had. Traffic noise is fine but I would say there's some anti social behaviour. Not much but a couple of households have aggressive or unruly dogs and there's some loud fighting in some households too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes but not brilliantly. We've had lots of fast repairs when we needed them but we've also had emergency repairs, such as our door being stuck unlocked, which hasn't been treated as an emergency despite being a security issue. We've had repeated issues with both doors seizing and the locksmith who's sorted it in the past said he's constantly at this estate because all the doors are cheap and awful. Yet, Simple Life doesn't change them.

I wish we knew simple life would put the rent up £100 every year.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area benefits from good transport links and convenient local shops. Overall, the estate is a very nice place to live – it feels welcoming, safe, and well-kept. Most of the residents take pride in the community, although a few households do leave their dogs outside barking at night, which can be upsetting. Bin collections are reliable, and there’s no disturbance from traffic noise, making it a comfortable and peaceful place to call home.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management and engineers are responsive at times, but can be inconsistent. Some issues are resolved quickly, while others take longer than expected to address.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The rent increases significantly every year, and I feel the rises are too steep compared to what would be reasonable. The amount of the increase makes it feel excessive.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Anti social behaviour. Loads of dogs barking. Cars parked all over the place. Smell of weed always strong.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have a football field that we can’t even have access too. Pointless. It was the one thing I was happy about when I moved in that my children could go their to play but it’s just locked all the time

That the rent would go up as high as it is. There is no control over who lives here.

Quiet area nice views around zero anti-social behaviour little traffic noise only from residents parking

Fast dealing with any concerns or repairs raised 24/7 repairs online system

Lovely area well matianed properties staff always willing to help with any problems
