Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living at The Octagon is very convenient due to its central location. There is a great choice of shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and bars within walking distance, with Birmingham city centre, Bullring and other amenities all nearby. Transport links are excellent, with Birmingham New Street, Snow Hill, buses and the tram all easily accessible, making commuting and travelling without a car very straightforward. The main downside of living in the building is that there is no communal hall or shared social space for residents to use, which would be a nice addition for the community. The area itself can also be busy at times, but overall the central location and excellent transport links make it a convenient place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team have always been helpful, responsive and professional. CJ, Alina and the rest of the team listen to concerns and make a genuine effort to resolve any issues quickly and keep residents updated.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that there is no communal hall or shared social space within the building. Having a dedicated area for residents to meet, relax and socialise would be a great addition. Apart from that, the central location, modern design and helpful management team make it a great place to live.

Close to the centre very lively and and very safe and secure. Love the facilities in the building and all around

Yes CJ and the entire management team have been super helpful throughout

Loved the safety and security at the building couldn’t recommend it enough

Living in this area is wonderfully convenient, with an excellent selection of local shops, cafés, and restaurants just a short stroll away. Public transport links are readily accessible, making commuting effortless.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team has been exceptionally prompt, professional, and attentive. Whenever an issue arises, they consistently aim to resolve it on the spot or ensure it is addressed as swiftly as possible with great care.

How convenient the local amenities and transport links really are. Everything from local shops to travel connections is so easily accessible, which made settling in much smoother than expected.

Great links and amenities. I need to get the train to meetings, and new street is stone’s throw away

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always sorted it out. Even though paradise parking were recalcitrant with my permit the Octagon team found me temporary parking to minimise stress

Even the one beds are quite spacious. The lobby area is excellent and always clean and tidy. The team are supremely helpful as well as friendly, especially Paul, Sylvia, CJ, Brad (I may have misspelled/misheard his name, sorry) and Tiegan

Everything is so accessible and close, the building area is always clean, the sound proof is amazing. Theres a bar right across the street which is amazing!

They helped me fix my issue instantly without hesitation
