All great and convenience. Front door near Tesco and Sainsbury‘s local. The garbage bin might have some garbage piled up.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good thing is that the house is very novel, and the French window design is very attractive. I feel that taking pictures will be particularly beautiful. The downside is that the garbage room on the floor is not open, and it is a bit difficult to deal with garbage.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The reported problem can be answered quickly, and the processing speed is very fast.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How to send and receive express delivery, and the situation of public transportation nearby.

Sept 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are many nice places to eat and things to do, so it is a good area if you like to go out. The transport links are very good, with buses and trams making it easy to get around the city. It can get quite noisy on weekends because it is so popular, and traffic noise can be annoying if you leave the windows open, but most of the time it is fine. Overall, it is a fun and convenient place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been very quick and helpful whenever I had any questions. always solving issues fast and professionally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Its great for going out, but it can be a bit noisy at night, so new neighbours might want to keep their windows closed for a quieter sleep.

Manager response

Thank you Chengbo- we are so pleased you are having a positive experience at The Mercian- the team really appreciates your feedback!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of shops and places to eat close to the accommodation. Tesco is just over the road opposite the main entrance door in broad. Parking is available in Moda but also tennant street after 6pm.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management in the building is professional and responds very fast. There is concierge in reception all the time and Moses and Peter are very nice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A bit noisy if you have your windows open because of traffic and people on broad street

Manager response

Thank you so much Zichao- we appreciate your feedback.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is very convenient with a wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Public transport is excellent, with easy access to buses and trains, making it quick to reach the city centre and other areas. There are also parks and open spaces nearby which are perfect for relaxing or exercising. The neighbourhood feels safe and welcoming, and bin collections are reliable. Overall, it is a lively and well-connected area that makes everyday living very enjoyable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always responded quickly and professionally, resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how well-connected the area is by public transport and how friendly the community feels. It makes living here much more enjoyable, and it’s something that doesn’t always come across during a short viewing.

Manager response

Thank you Xiyu Shao- we all appreciate you! So pleased you are enjoying your home and community.
