Modern Living with Great Facilities

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in the area has many positives – there’s a good range of local shops, cafés and restaurants, and plenty of green open spaces to enjoy. Transport links are generally reliable with buses and trains nearby, though traffic can build up at peak times. My street is mostly quiet and friendly, parking is manageable, and bins are collected regularly. Occasionally there’s a bit of traffic noise, but overall it’s a pleasant and convenient place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always been responsive, addressing any problems quickly and keeping residents well informed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

“I wish I had known how quickly parking spaces fill up during peak hours, as it would have helped me plan better. On the positive side, I also hadn’t realised how active and welcoming the community is, which has been a lovely surprise

Manager response

Thank you so much Welly! We are so happy to read that you are having a positive experience in The Mercian and our city. We really appreciate your time in leaving feedback.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has been very convenient. The Mercian is located right in the city centre, with shops, restaurants, bars, gyms, and public transport all within walking distance. Despite being in such a central location, the apartments are quiet inside, and the building feels safe. Waste collection is always on time, and the streets around are generally clean. Overall, daily life here is very easy and enjoyable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team has always responded quickly and effectively to any issues. Molly Clarke and Moses in particular made sure everything was resolved smoothly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known earlier how supportive and professional the management team is — especially Molly Clarke and Moses. Their help and care really made a difference to my living experience.

Manager response

THANK YOU Yisheng - what a lovely review. We really appreciate your time. Wishing you all the best in your next chapter.

Excellent area to live in the centre of Birmingham and close to a lot of stuff. There’s grocery shops just across the road and plenty of choices of takeout food and restaurants in the area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team is very professional and quick to respond.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing bad to say in particular. Everything is good here

Manager response

Thank you Runyuan! We appreciate you!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There’s lots of shops in the area. It’s a really good area of the city to live with everything very close to you like new street station and bullring and Selfridges

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The team is always very helpful in Moda and sort everything very quickly and professionally

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bins are full all the time and this causes flies sometimes. Only bad thing

Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Transport links are very good, with regular buses, trams and easy access to New Street station, though traffic can sometimes be heavy at peak times. Bin collections are generally fine, although on occasion they may be missed. The street itself can be noisy, especially at weekends due to nightlife, but it’s usually much calmer during the week.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management is very good in the building and always helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just the noisy streets on the weekends and sometimes some crazy people outside.

Manager response

Thank you so much Shining for your kind words- we all really appreciate it!
