Luxury in the Skies

The management is very responsive and responsible. They are all always very happy and cheerful, nothing seems too much for them. The facilities are great as well, you wouldn't need to leave the building for the luxury. Would definitely recommend. It is extremely convenient for working professionals

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The building is situated at a very convenient location. The bus and tram is available at the doorstep and since it is literally in the heart of birmingham, all prime restaurants and lively pubs or clubs are just around the corner.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management has always been considerate about all the listed issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

During the weekends the only drawback remains the Broad Street commotion. It is not as much, but can cause inconvenience once in a while

The best place in Birmingham to live alone or with family.

The layout is very reasonable, with each room having a bathroom. It is very suitable for students and shared apartments with friends or roommates. Also, the decoration and mattress are perfect. It is very soft, and you will have a nice dream. About the facilities, the gym is good as well. Anything meets my needs.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is perfect; it is only 15 minutes from the city centre by walk. Around this area, there are many restaurants and very nice trees. It is a lovely please to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It is speedy for any you need. Also the security is very good.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The view is perfect, and you can view the whole of Birmingham.

The facilities can be described as 'modern,' 'stylish,' and 'luxurious.' Particularly noteworthy is its 200-meter synthetic running track, a unique feature in Birmingham. The management team is incredibly responsive to maintenance requests. They always make sure issues are addressed promptly, even during busy periods.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Here is one of the most upscale home in Birmingham. It's my personal favorite. Upload photos of your development to be published alongside your review

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

well-organized and efficient.I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Moda Mercian. The facilities are top-notch, and the maintenance team is always responsive. The community feel is great, and the location is very convenient. However, the recent renovation has caused some disruptions to the communal areas.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything is clear. As a Moda Mercian resident, I've been quite happy with my stay. The amenities are great, especially the on-call maintenance service. However, the ongoing renovation has been disruptive, impacting the overall aesthetics, particularly the lobby. I hope these disruptions can be minimized soon to restore the previous charm of the place.

I must admit that this is the best flat I have stayed in since arriving in the UK, I love the facilities, the decor, the view from the windows, the staff and everything about the place. The only thing I need to mention is that I am now planning to buy a car, but the high cost of parking in the building makes this somewhat inconvenient.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of the flat is very good, you can walk to the city centre in 15 minutes. The transport links are very convenient, with tram and bus stops downstairs. In addition to this, there are shops, restaurants and bars nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The staff are very quick to resolve issues, I forgot my keys twice last week and zain sent me up to open the door for me both times after confirming my identity. It ensures security without much delay.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The electronic key and lift system of the flats provides excellent security for the residents. With this key you can only travel to the common areas and your floor, which greatly increases privacy.

Gold Star for The Mercian!

I love the modern feel of this building. The flats and common spaces are expertly designed with a nice contemporary flare without sacrificing comfort. The property is well-maintained and will be even better once the first-floor construction is complete. One of my favorite attributes of this building is the joint space. The outdoor area on the 3rd floor is just high enough to feel like an oasis. The gym is well-equipped, and the track makes for a pleasant stroll without dodging foot traffic on the street. There is an open space in the lobby that is large enough for a cafe or market. It will be nice once that space is occupied.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

When I moved to Birmingham, I viewed multiple properties across the city and selected the Mercian, mainly based on location and amenities. Being on Broad Street has its pros and cons. Broad Street is very busy during the weekend, and depending on the floor level and side of the building, the noise from the street is quite noticeable when windows are open. This may not be the space if you're looking for a "quiet" place. That said, the location of The Mercian is perfect for me. The bus stop is a few steps from the front door. I'm less than 10 minutes' walk from work, and I can get anywhere in town within a 30-minute stroll. There are cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores within a short distance. If you're looking for convenience, The Mercian is your spot!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I've been very impressed by the responsiveness of the entire Mercian team. Every question I've asked has been responded to within just a few hours, and every single team member seems to be happy to help. When I first moved in, I had questions related to my flat, and Robert took the time to meet me in the apartment and address any concerns.

When I first moved in, I had questions related to my flat, and Robert took the time to meet me in the apartment and address any concerns. Additionally, I would give the Mercian concierge team a 10/10! Before my arrival, Vince sent various videos and pictures to help me understand the size and design of different apartment layouts. Upon selecting an apartment, Faris took the time to ensure my move-in was smooth and I felt welcomed in my new home. Since moving in, each team member has really gone above and beyond to make me feel at home. Rosa greets me with a smile every morning that she works, and Zane is there almost every afternoon to welcome me home. Ellis has connected a few times to be sure I have a spot in the community events I've shown interest in and that I sleep well, knowing Moses is operating the desk to ensure the building is safe and secure at night! What's even more impressive is that hundreds of people live on this property, and each of these team members speaks to me by name, which helps me feel at home! There are plenty of options in Birmingham, but I am so glad that the Mercian is my home away from home!
