Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s a very nice location with plenty of choices in food to choose from in a central location of Birmingham. There’s good transportation all round but sometimes can be heavy with a lot of traffic around rush hour. There’s a lot of bars and such in the area so be aware of noise on weekends
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very well and very professional all round. The management have always been excellent
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There’s no parks or anything like that in the area if you like going for walks or have a dog.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area has its perks, with a good selection of local shops, restaurants, and open spaces nearby. Public transport links are generally reliable, making it easy to get around, though rush hour can be quite busy. The street itself is mostly quiet, with decent parking availability and regular bin collections, although traffic noise can sometimes be an issue
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been responsive and helpful, addressing issues promptly, especially with support from the reception team.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how busy the area gets during peak hours, as it can make parking and transport more challenging. It’s also worth noting how friendly and supportive the reception team is—they make settling in much easier.
Manager response
Thank you Anotida- we appreciate your feedback :)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Lots of transport connections and links within a short radius. Parking availability very limited on tennant street.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
On a number occasions I have to wait until Monday for a problem to be resolved because there is no maintenance staff during the weekend.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Positive experience when I moved in. Moda app was helpful.
Manager response
Thank you Sandra, we appreciate your feedback. Please never delay in reporting any repairs. We have technicians on site on Saturdays and can arrange for any urgent repairs to be carried out 24/7. THANK YOU

Big thanks to Moda. It's been my home for a while. It's time to move on. More thanks to Moses and Peter.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Much of it is the blockage of the dishwasher but someone turns up really quick to fix it
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Enjoyed every bit of my time although my apartment was very hot in July and August
Manager response
The Mercian will miss you. Thank you Yuhan- We wish you all the best!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living on Broad Street offers great convenience with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and open spaces nearby. There’s even a Tesco just outside the building, perfect for grabbing quick food or snacks. Public transport links are excellent, with frequent buses and easy access to the city centre and beyond. The area is lively, especially on weekends when the clubs make it quite hectic, so expect a busy atmosphere at night
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always responded to any problems quickly and professionally, making sure everything is resolved smoothly. I’ve always been treated with respect and care, and the team goes out of their way to help. Moses and Peter on the night team have been especially kind and supportive throughout my time here, always making me feel looked after and well cared for.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The atmosphere is great if you enjoy being in the heart of the action, but it can be a bit noisy late at night with the clubs nearby. On the positive side, I didn’t realize how convenient it would be.
Manager response
Thank you so much Nas- we really appreciate your feedback and so pleased that you have had a positive experience at The Mercian :)
