The Locks is a modern apartment with a sophisticated and classy design.
All essential facilities available within the apartment and a common gym is also provided. Good building management and prompt response to queries makes this accomodation valuable.

Cost of sustainable heating used in building was not known to us before we moved in.

The building management responds promptly to any queries and resolved complaints in a timely manner.
Great flat
Very clean, newly renovated, great kitchen and bathroom. Bedroom good size. Furniture provided and new. Good layout of the rooms. Shower in bathroom is very nice and nice design. Washing mashing, dryer and dish washer provided with the apartment.

Lots of car parking, underground so cars safe and protected. Lots of local transport and food places.

I had a problem with my tap and they sorted it the next day
A great place to work from home
The building has a car park and accessible gym, the gym is small but great for easy access on work breaks etc. The management are extremely approachable and are quick to sort out any issues, they’ve been helpful numerous times over the years with parcel and billing queries.
The rooms are spacious and the free internet provided is consistently fast, never had any issues with it, which is perfect when working from home.

It’s practically in the town center which makes getting anywhere easy. You’re within a 10 minute walk from the train station which is ideal if working away from home. You’re also within very close walking distance of a large park

I had doubts about the internet quality but it’s actually fantastic, both for work and gaming.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Effort is put in place right away. In my case a new part was ordered and fitted within a couple of days.

I really love the apartment it’s really pretty and spacious. Also equipped with great facilities and maintenance culture is top notch. I love the furniture quality and the interior designs. Overall I will definitely recommend the locks apartments to friends

Great access to facilities and city centre. There are bars and restaurants about5- 10 mins from Could be noisy due to traffic

I thought I was going to be here for 6 months but almost 1 yr 6 mints in and I’m loving it

I once had issues with my heater and Steve was prompt to rectify it

Very good area, probably the best area in Wolverhampton. Walking distance to all of the shops you need. No antisocial behaviour. Good parking. Good bin collection

Most issues are responded to promptly and adequately.
Great place to live!
There is a gym available making it ideal to just walk to it. Internet is included and work’s brilliant as I work from home so no issues when using it. Any building issues are always sorted out quickly! Steve and Courtney are always helpful and available!

The shopping centre is 5 mins walk. With a local Sainsburys even closer. Plenty of restaurants, bars and takeaways within walking distance.

The garden area isn’t done yet and is a shame when going out there people can see in. But hopefully they working to get this done ready for the summer

Yes any issues are dealt with straight away! Nothing is never too much!
Worth every penny
The building is well run. We get enough notice for minor inconveniences like boiler issues (which don’t happen often). But we also get quick response on requests for apartment fixes and maintenance. The hallways and lifts are frequently cleaned and the staff and management are super friendly. We have lockers for delivery which are smoothly run (although the courier services can be a problem with dealing with the lockers).
I have a problem with the heating and hot water service provider. There have been a couple of issues and it does seem to me that their rate is on the high side – it certainly has gone up since we moved in. To make matters worse, the radiator circulation is not optimal.
Other than that, everything else works perfectly, the electricity, the internet, water pressure is great – even the hot water.

I love that the apartments is so close to town, not to talk of the convenience to Sainsbury’s where I do regular shoppings as well as the Africa shop! The area is well managed even the bin area. I am not too bothered by the sound of traffic or the frequent sirens but that is something to keep in mind. Other than that, I think it’s a brilliant area.

I wish the price of the bills where not so downplayed. Mostly the heating and hot water provider – Tacanova.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Timely and excellently. We have an app where you can report any issues like a faulty sink. And there’s a rating for the urgency, and depending on the issue you can get it sorted in a matter of hours. Less urgent things may take a day or two. And they super respectful of your time and privacy.
The facility is great
The facility is great, the house the layout the management is good. The gym needs a little more work with regards to equipment. A recreation area for all tenants to interact would be great. We require more interaction or events with the studios. The garden area could do with a little makeover

The area has bars , a casino shopping centres and a lot of other areas to hang out. But the get quite repetitive and boring.

The building is managed well, it is always clear of rubbish in my experience. The facilities are great, and there has often been a site manager on site when I have needed. The exercise room is good, and the lockers at the back of the building are convenient

There is very little noise, so it’s very peaceful. It’s in a central location with easy access to lots of bars, restaurants and city events. Parking is readily available, which makes it even more convenient. Nice people and tenants.

I have had a couple of issues with payment mistakes on my account. While my queries have often been answered quickly and efficiently, some issues can overrun a little
Experience at the locks
The design and facilities are very good compared to other buildings in the city. The building management enables smooth transition of any problems faced during the duration of our tenancy. The handling of parcels with the addition of a locker is a welcome addition.

The range of restaurants and bars is good since it is the city centre. Provides convenience to hang out without having to drive.

Great and practical!
The design is very clean, and calming. I enjoy the furnishing of the development. It is great there is a gym and car park too but I do not use either. the property management team are very receptive, polite and friendly. I appreciate that there is a parcel drop-off point.

I had to move to the area for work and this was one of the only available options for one bed flats in the area. I felt really fortunate to find a new, well furnished development in a location which has very limited rented options in the city center. Unfortunately the city is not always very vibrant but there is a close supermarket, green spaces and leisure centre.

The WV centre down the road has a great swimming pool (and gym) has a great membership cost! West Park, also down the road, is an absolutely lovely green space.
