Close to the mall and local shop/restaurants. Easy bus access. Quieter side of the city center with less noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick response to any issues! They came the next day when I had an issue with the boiler.

Building gets very cold in winters. Requires more heating

Living here has its up and downs. The downs are the high rent, the rent increases after your tenancy renewal, you hear sirens at night, drunk people and nightclub music so struggle to sleep, you hear cars on a daily no noise cancellation windows. Sometimes neighbours will do ASB and your parcels can be stolen. I hate when the elevator breaks down you have to be in competition with floor 4 and 5 tenants just to get to the ground floor. These apartments aren’t designed for families or people with kids because it quite small, fully furnished so you can’t change or decorate your kids room. 2 bedroom flats here still have 1 sofa so not family oriented. Open plan so when you cook, the smell lingers in the flat for a while. So living here it’s usually for single person or roommates. The ups are cheap energy bills as energy efficient, parcel lockers and WiFi and water bills included with the rent, maintenance work gets done quite fast once reported on the locks app, safe environment

Close to Sainsbury’s and other food spots, post office places so easier access to get what you need sometimes

Property manager takes ages to respond to your enquiry

I wish I knew that how much sleep I was about to loose

Good transport links, 9 mins into Manchester Piccadilly by train. Property 4 mins a from Stockport station. Good variety of shops nearby in Mersey square, good bars and restaurants near by.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Partially. Concerns have been looked into, not satisfied with response however

Noise from locals outside the McDonalds on weekends

The area has a simple mix of shops, food places and transport options. It’s generally okay to live in, with normal street activity. Nothing major stands out, but overall it’s acceptable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have generally responded in a reasonable and timely way, addressing issues as expected.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the car parking availability, as it can be limited at certain times and isn’t always clear from a viewing.
