Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located at the heart of CV1, it makes shopping extremely accessible considering the proximity to grocery stores and also to Lower Precinct. There is very minimal traffic because the road outside is now a Taxi-only road. Public transport is also extremely accessible (5 mins walk to the Coventry train station & the bus stop is right outside the building).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t had any issues so far and it has been pleasant.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would’ve liked to know the average bills per month.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located centrally, good access to downtown core. Aldi next door, nearby gas station and numerous shops and cafes around as well. Walking distance from a good primary school and 10 mins walk to hospital.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes! Every issue raised has been dealt with promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Need to buy fans for warmer weather -- bedroom windows don't open fully so hard to get a breeze going.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a bus stop outside which takes me straight to work and it is super easy to walk into town making it super convenient. Everything I need is in town and I get my food shop delivered straight here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had some minor problems when I first moved in and they were fixed almost immediately!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When moving in I didn't have a car so it was a little difficult. My parents were able to park on queen victoria road instead to avoid the bus gate.

Rigid Management & Lack of Support for Families

Spinners Yard, LS7

Jul 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Spinners Yard is situated in a convenient area in Leeds (LS7), offering quick access to the city center, local amenities, and reliable transport links. The surrounding neighborhood is generally walkable and pleasant, though traffic noise along Skinner Lane can occasionally pick up during peak commuting hours.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management was completely unhelpful and inflexible when issues were raised, defaulting strictly to corporate policy rather than working with residents to find reasonable solutions.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how strictly management enforces property inventory rules without offering any on-site storage solutions, making it very difficult for families with children to adapt room space to their needs.

Jul 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is fantastic, with plenty of shops, parks, and good transport links nearby. It’s a quiet, safe, and friendly neighbourhood, making it a great place to live. There are lots of amenities within easy reach.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve only recently moved into the building, so I haven’t had any significant issues to raise with the management yet. So far, the move-in process has been smooth, and the team has been helpful and responsive to the questions I’ve asked.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that the storage space is more limited than I expected. The cupboards, particularly in the kitchen, are quite small, so there isn’t as much room for storing household items as I would have liked.
