Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There’s an aldi opposite which is very convenient, there are also shops that sell halal meat within 10min walk. There are plenty of bus stops which helps with ease of traveling.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As mentioned above, any issues are quickly responded to.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would’ve liked to know what the average bills would come up to be so I could’ve figured how much to budget.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Convenient location if you work at lgi or jimmys Handy having aldi across the street and really good distance from town Sometimes at night it can get quite loud outside - but there's a dodgy shop across the street where people sometimes gather, I've never had an issue with behaviour around this area personally but could see it being g intimidating if I was walking at that time of night

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't raised issues and so can not comment on this

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Sometime children are left to play down stairs unattended and i find this uncomfortable Residents sometimes leave food, garbage in communal areas which is a bit disrespectful The communal toilets are sometimes a bit grim - like urine left all over the seats etc - I've seen a lot of unattended children use them leaving the doors open whilst using them which if someone was to walk in isn't very fair, they also dont flush the toilets or wash their hands which is a bit grim - its not something that I would have know before moving in and probably something that can't be changed as people live to differently and are brought up differently

Rent not justified

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Decent place to live but the apartment felt small eventually. Open plan flat feels like a studio with only a closed off bedroom. If your flat is on the back side, you will hear ambulances and cars all day until 10pm. Once the property management told me my rent will be £1k for the 1 bedroom after my tenancy renewal I decided to move out. It's not worth paying £1k in rent for such a small 1 bedroom apartment. Parking is good with an additional parking fee. I felt it got worst when Rise Homes took over. It was easier when Verv Life was managing the flats. Courtney did everything much better in terms of paperwork and responses. Steve is good when logging in maintenance work.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Okay but they are delayed in responses so 3/10 rating

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Log any issues you see in the flat before you agree to let. Do a viewing even if the tenant is living there.

Close to the mall and local shop/restaurants. Easy bus access. Quieter side of the city center with less noise.

Quick response to any issues! They came the next day when I had an issue with the boiler.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Building gets very cold in winters. Requires more heating
