Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Lexington is a stunning building in a stunning location. For convenience and essentials stopping, there is a Sainsburys adjacent to the site, and a Tesco just a short walk away. If perhaps you fancy a nice meal or some drinks, the dock is situated very close; about a 5-10 minute scenic walk along the River Mersey. There is parking available for those who drive, but if you do not, buses are abundant around the local area as well as James Street train station nearby. There is a good waste system in the building, with a clear recycling strategy albeit the waste chutes that are available per floor seem to seldom work.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have had no issues yet that have needed to be resolved, but the system for it in place is very trivial and easy to use.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It gets very hot in your apartment on the waterfront side during hot days, so factor that into your decision on which apartment you would want to choose.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The building is a nice place to live as a student. It has many rooms for us to go in and study in peace. Callum on concierge is very nice and is always helpful. Caitlin, Kyran, Andy, Paige and Anton are also great additions to the team!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They are always courteous when it comes to dealing with requests.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I moved from another country, so having friendly staff to make me feel at home was nice.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We are situated close enough to the waterfront for the fresh air, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Whilst the area is nice it's nice to have the locals working in the building too. The concierge staff Callum, Caitlin, Andy, Paige and Anton are amazing to see every day! The management team are always there for good local suggestions. Kyran, Sophie and Millie are a great asset to the team!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always with ease, they make any stressful situation less stressful.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There is nothing I wish I knew before moving in, I have come from Canada so it can't get much more stressful than that!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Local supermarket with most essentials is convenient. A breakfast coffee shop and seafood restaurant are within short walking distance too. Floating sauna and plunge pool opposite which is great and plenty of open spaces for relaxing and walking. Parking availability is poor for the building because it only has limited spaces but multi story car park next door is ok. No parking nearby for any guests though. Bin collections are frequent enough. Some anti-social behaviour occurs because there are homeless people nearby and I’ve seen a couple of people attempt to rob from the local supermarket. Traffic noise is minimal.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes I had a cleanliness issue when moving into my new apartment which was resolved by management.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d have known that you can’t view the apartment you’re moving into before you commit. You can only view an empty one with the same layout. If I’d have known my apartment was previously an Airbnb rental and had a number of wear and tear defects, I would have chosen a different apartment.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is full of restaurants and good places to visit. You are in the heart of the city but far enough away to not experience the hustle and bustle a city brings!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Whenever there is a problem, management make sure to solve it as quick as they can, and anytime a lift is down, they will have an engineer on site immediately, which is always a good thing!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There is trollies you can use when moving in, so it makes the move in process so much faster!
