Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’m it location is stunning. Innitally, we had the issue of grocery shops being too far away but Sainsbury’s next door has been great help. There was also an issue of commuting to town especially in the winter but the bus has been quite helpful, although inconsistent.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I first moved in, management was great. I remember very clearly how the staff responded to and attended to my concerns regarding rent, events, maintenance, etc. but overtime, it’s as if the new management does not give much care to residents’ worries.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How hard commuting would be! Up until this summer, there was no busses going to town and back and the earliest is nearly a 20 minute walk which isn’t great in the cold. There was also not a lot of options for food- just a few coffee shops around.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is amazing, I can't fault it. It's got everything you need within walking distance and there is so much to do of an evening after work.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had quite a few issues whilst living here, however they are always quick to reassure me or fix the issue. On days that the maintenance team are off Callum is always happy to lend a hand.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew about some of the ongoing issues, such as the bin chute.

Manager response

It is great to know that the local amenities and the evening options nearby add to your overall experience. Your kind words about Callum and Caitlin mean a lot to us. They genuinely care about residents, and it is wonderful to hear that their support has made such a positive difference for you. We will be sure to pass your feedback on to them. Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in the local area makes you feel included in the city culture, but keeps you far enough away to take a step back when it starts to feel a little bit too much.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management are amazing, and they go above and beyond to ensure we are well looked after and safe in our building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew about how bad the bin chute can be. It comes and goes and its hard to keep track of when it is working and when it's not.

Manager response

Hi Simon, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We appreciate your honesty about the building, and it is great to know that the team has helped create such a welcoming atmosphere. Hearing that you enjoy the resident events and the community feel truly means a lot. We are glad the local area works well for you too. Many residents enjoy that blend of city energy and a calmer environment, and it is good to hear it offers the balance you were hoping for. We understand how inconvenient the bin chute can be when it is not functioning properly. Your feedback helps us continue to focus on improving this, and we appreciate your patience while we work on more reliable solutions. Thank you also for highlighting the efforts of the management team. Ensuring residents feel supported and safe is at the heart of what we do, and it is encouraging to know this has been reflected in your experience. We appreciate your feedback and are grateful to have you living here at The Lexington.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living here can be a little bit crazy on a match day, and can definitely affect your journey home. However, on the days the football isn't on, it is a vibrant relaxing area. The staff here host amazing events which are always so enjoyable and a success.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues we raise are often dealt with by maintenance, and the new maintenance manager James is amazing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how little items the local Sainsbury's sells.

Manager response

Hi Sophie, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are thrilled to hear that Callum and Caitlin, along with the rest of the team, have made such a positive impact. It is wonderful that you enjoy the events and that they help bring the community together. We are glad your move-in went smoothly and that you find the building beautiful and modern. We also appreciate your note about match days—while they can make getting around busier, it’s great to hear that the area still feels vibrant and enjoyable on quieter days. We are pleased that maintenance issues have been handled quickly and that James, our new maintenance manager, has been so helpful. Your feedback is very encouraging for the team. Thank you for your kind words and for recommending us. We are delighted to have you as part of The Lexington community.
