We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Living at The Lexington has been a mixed bag of experiences. There are a number of amenities and features that make life here enjoyable, but also some aspects that could certainly be improved to enhance our living conditions. One of the biggest conveniences I miss is the ability to buzz guests up directly from our flats. This small autonomy could make a big difference, especially when hosting friends or family. Similarly, the ice dispensing fridge in the communal area has not been functioning properly, which is a trivial yet irritating issue. A more pressing concern, especially during the warmer months, is the lack of air conditioning. While we previously had air conditioning units provided, I sincerely hope this will be the case again this summer to ensure comfort during the hot weather. Despite these grievances, The Lexington's location is exceptional, offering easy access to local amenities and transport links, which I absolutely love. The facilities themselves are generally top-notch. The gym, although slightly limited by space, is well-maintained—though I wish it included a bit more machinery. However, the atmosphere within The Lexington has changed since it first opened. The enforcement of rules has become more stringent, which sometimes makes it feel as though we have lost some freedoms in our own homes. This has led to a noticeable decline in community events, such as barbecues and parties, which were once a vibrant part of living here. It's a shift that feels more restrictive than protective, diminishing the sense of community among residents. On a positive note, Kyran, a member of the staff, is truly a standout. His dedication and willingness to go above and beyond in his duties every day have not gone unnoticed and he deserves immense praise for his hard work and friendly approach. In summary, while The Lexington boasts excellent facilities and a fantastic location, the increased policing and some unresolved maintenance issues have put a damper on the overall living experience. It's a place with great potential, if only a few of these concerns are addressed.

The building is now poor, there’s a lot of maintenance that needs doing but management is indifferent. The communal spaces need lots of maintenance, there’s always something broken in the gym, the doors, the chute or the communal areas have faults all the time

The design and facilities are great, building management are mostly responsive, and the reception staff are so friendly. We had a leak for 2 months over Christmas which was made worse by the lack of an on site maintenance manager. And there are often things breaking or poorly maintained- at the moment there’s a rower, front door and chute system which do not work. There are lots of small aesthetic maintenance issues like scratches, stains and scuffs to walls, floors and appliances that show wear and tear around the building. Nevertheless it’s still a great place to live and the events hosted by the building make it feel like a community
