Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great transport links, shops and supermarkets close by, so well located. I would love at least one area that is dog friendly so I could enjoy the communal areas more. Other than that, I love living here as I feel safe and all issues are dealt with efficiently.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues I’ve experience have been resolved promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the communal areas weren’t dog friendly and that there weren’t many resident events. Since a new management team have started, I have noticed a significant change and regular events are planned making my experience at The Lansdowne even better!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I really enjoyed staying here! I love being close to the city center and within walking distance of all the great restaurants and bars. It’s the perfect location for exploring and enjoying the local nightlife.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building’s maintenance team has been very attentive to the needs of the apartment. The scheduled inspections have always been timely, and on one occasion they replaced the hot water pump, ensuring everything was working perfectly afterward.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One issue that the building management has been addressing is that a few residents smoke inside the building, and occasionally there’s a smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. Hopefully, this can be fully resolved soon, as everything else in the building is excellent.

Modern, Secure Living with Excellent Amenities and City Access

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area is very convenient, especially given its proximity to the City Centre. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a Morrisons supermarket is located just across the street, which makes daily shopping hassle-free. The tram stop is less than a minute’s walk away, offering excellent transport links into town. Despite the area being generally busy with traffic, it’s surprisingly quiet in terms of noise. Parking on the property is based on availability, and the overall environment feels secure thanks to multiple layers of biometric access. Bin collections are regular, and there’s been no noticeable anti-social behaviour. Overall, it’s a comfortable and practical location to live in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has been responsive and professional. Property team was very helpful, reception are really nice and Ellie was very attentive and made sure everything went well. Had a problem with parking but it was fixed in a couple of days, which shows how efficiently issues are handled here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The team mentioned everything I needed to know prior to moving.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Convenience is fantastic. Everything we need is local. There is some antisocial behaviour in the area, but this is to be expected in the centre of Birmingham. The Lansdowne does provide support with managing this. Very little traffic noise, despite being a lower flat.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not applicable. There have been no issues thus far to raise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just the dimensions of the flat would have been useful, to think about how to get a sofa in.

Manager response

Thank you so much for your feedback! We're really glad to hear that you're enjoying your time with us so far. It’s great to know the management team's efforts are appreciated and that you feel and comfortable and supported here. we strive to continue with this support during your tenancy. We’re also happy to hear that you enjoy the convenience of local shops and transport links. Anti-social behaviour around the building is something we monitor regularly, and try our best to eliminate this as much as possible, so thankyou for mentioning this. We appreciate your suggestions about including floor plans during he pre tenancy process and we’re working on making this information even more accessible, to make your move in as seamless as possible Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience, it really means a lot!
