Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Recently moved up from Wales for work, and couldn't have found a better place to live for someone new to the city. The building has a bus and a tram stop outside, or is only a 15 minute walk, for going into the city center. There's a supermarket opposite and a cinema behind. It's on the border of Edgbaston Village, which has some high end bars and restaurants.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Problems or issues are dealt with immediately. Issues are raised via an app and are resolved by the time I get home from work the next day. A report of any work is logged on the app. Extremely efficient.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Relocating to Birmingham couldn't have gone better because of how convenient everything is when living here. The accessibility, security, culture and support here has been fantastic.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is located quite centrally with excellent transport links and walking access to a variety of local shops and restaurants. Due to the central location however, access to open green spaces can be limited.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Typically issues or repairs are handled promptly and where there are delays these are typically due to external contractors. Where delays occur the team makes sure you have appropriate alternatives until the repair is completed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How secure and quiet the building is are real selling points. The management team are responsive to concerns.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ideal location to live in, great accessibility to train station, tram and buses. Lovely pubs around the area. 10 mins walk to Edgbaston Reservoir which is a great place for a evening jog. Major supermarkets are close by.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Almost instantly, very professional and prompt in sorting out issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

None, everything is as good as I was explained before moving in. But the parking lot cleanliness is something which I never thought would be such a mess.

Manager response

Shubham, Thank you for your detailed feedback and kind comments about the location, facilities, and management team. We're delighted to hear you've enjoyed living here. We also appreciate you highlighting the parking management and cleanliness concerns. Your feedback has been noted, and we are continuing to work with relevant teams to improve both the management of allocated parking spaces and the overall cleanliness of the car park. Thank you for your recommendation and for being part of the community.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have only positive things to say about the development. Lansdowne is ideally located, with supermarkets, nurseries, GP surgeries, and hospitals all nearby. Everything you need is within a short travel time of around 10 minutes max. There’s also a great selection of restaurants in the area, which adds to the convenience and lifestyle appeal. One minor downside might be some traffic noise, but this is effectively addressed by the excellent soundproofing in the apartments. Overall, it’s an excellent place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All the issues were attended to very swiftly and effectively. The portal is very user friendly too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I do hope the parking allocation process can be improved so that spaces are assigned as soon as a tenant moves in. Personally, I had to wait a few weeks to get my parking sorted, which made things quite difficult during that time. Aside from this, everything else has been very good

Manager response

George, Thank you for your fantastic review and recommendation. We're delighted to hear that you've had such a positive experience at Lansdowne We also appreciate your feedback regarding parking allocation and will take this on board as we continue to improve our residents' experience. Thank you for your kind words about the property, location, and management team.
