Indeed a way of life like no other

Verified Resident

I was delighted to live at The Lansdowne. My stay started with a heartwarming welcome. The development is one of a kind in Birmingham, high standard of living, safety, modern and vibrant interior design, friendly staff and include exceptional amenities. The dazzling sense of community is the first thing you experience when you step into The Lansdowne, the theme runs throughout the development and especially in the cultural-mixer room. The development provides its residents and guests with incredible all-inclusive amenities. Overall, the way of life you are looking for is only found here.

The area of the property is unmatched within proximity to all local amenities you need around where you live, a huge supermarket, various restaurants that would tingle your taste buds, beautiful gardens and many more.

My stay at the Lansdowne

This aparthotel has everything you need. It feels like home. And just on the opposite site of the street you can get everything at the Morrisons.

You feel safe here because not everyone can get in the building. Lansdowne is safety.

I have had some problems with all taxis they cant find this new building apparently. But then this lovely guy Angie (i think that how it’s spelled) he have helped me everytime. And was waiting with me for the taxi. He is so polite. You will feel he really likes his job. He is just lovely.

So I can reccomend this aparthotel very much.

A way of life, not just a building…

Verified Resident

The Lansdowne is the first “Aparthotel” I have had the pleasure of living in, and it has certainly set the bar high. The high standard the apartments are furnished and designed in is only matched by the outstanding customer service offered by the on-site concierge and inclusive amenities. Additionally, the building’s emphasis on community living, or culturally mixing, is refreshing in today’s fast paced society. To sum it up, the Lansdowne almost represents a way of life rather than simply just a building.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is filled with small independent restaurants and business which is really great to see! The transport links are also amazing, and with new street only a 25 minute walk – you can’t go wrong

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s more storage space thank you think

Best in West Midlands

Verified Resident

Before I moved in with my son, I really thought it felt like a hotel, very clean, very nice designs and even better staff than usual hotels. Even though I know it isn’t a hotel, after moving in it still feels like it is. Staff are so great and helpful, helping me with heavy boxes to my door as I have a little one always with me. I have no complaints at all. Great place to live, even a family.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I chose this location on purpose, I used to live next door to the lansdowne development but had to move away as the place was to small and landlords not to great. I was waiting for the lansdowne to be built and as soon as it had I booked a viewing and loved it and got a flat straightaway. It easy for me as a single mom living here, close by to relatives, close by to a shop as morrisons is right next door. They are building tram lines soon so even better access to city centre. They even have a few great Italian restaurants around the corner called ‘Laghi’s Deli’ and ‘Del Villaggio’ and they have amazing pastas there.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I dont really have any bad insights at the moment, hopefully it stays like that. I do like the free coffee machine, its great in emergencies.

Checking in to my new home

Verified Resident

The building is great. I was very impressed with the concierge service on my move in day. It felt like checking in to a hotel. There’s very hopefully onsite staff 24hrs and the gym and cultural mixer facilities are great.

Promiximity to A roads and M5 means its quick to get in and out of Birmingham. being within walking distance of Broad Street is also great

Being shown how to use the oven would have been useful. It took a little time to work it out from the instruction manual

So what? Another review?

Verified Resident

I know what you’re thinking- an apartment is an apartment- so what is different with this one? Well, aside from specific design for apartment living- not a converted office block- the difference is people.
Ok so enthusiastic concierges and sales people are nothing without delivery, timeliness, professionalism, delivery and genuine warmth.
These guys have it – they deliver after sales authentically. That’s why I’m writing this to say thanks. Thanks for meeting on time, thanks for the unexpected welcome pack and thanks for being honest and delivering.
That means Sam, Kim,Jaqueline and Femi and everyone else involved.
This apartment block is new, car entry and exit is planned to improve shortly with access to car park exit next door. That’s planning. Waste disposal- Birmingham City Council does your recycle- hello- 21st century. I live in the adjoining island in the middle of nowhere and my provider recycles. So Lansdowne will recycle shortly- that’s continuous improvement in action. Windows that open, bright low cost energy efficient fittings and efficient lifts- smoke and heat detectors and sprinklers of course. Safety first. Anyway I wax lyrical- have a look yourself- you be the judge!

Hi,

Thanks so much for the huge review! We’re so pleased you love the building so much. Our concierges work so hard to make your experience as amazing as possible so it’s great to get the recognition for it (we’ve passed on your praise to them!). We now have the fobs for the improved access to the car park (as promised) so make sure you pop down to the concierge office to collect yours. We’re still working with the council to work out the recycling, but hopefully they will sort this out soon for us.

Thanks again!

Probably the best building in Birmingham

Verified Resident

There is hardly anything wrong with the Lansdowne.
The building is new and the flat even though a bit small is very practical which gives the impression of a bigger space.
The people working in the building are great and help with everything. Even if something goes wrong they are always there for us taking all the trouble away from us.
Amazing experience!

Clean, sunny, well located home

We arrived a little earlier than the scheduled time, but we moved in conveniently by checking in without delay. Friendly staff. The room is very clean and the sunlight is good. The internet is good, the water is hot, and the fridge and washing machine work well.

Morrison is close. But the University of Birmingham is a little far.
