This is a very different but much better rental experience and one I have been happy at for over 15 months.
The building design, the furnished apartment finishes, the communal areas the management team and all the concierges make this feel more like home or boutique hotel than a dull building. As someone who lives in the city for work during the week, I want somewhere that is a bit different and not soulless and The Lansdowne certainly ticks all the right boxes. A big plus is that you can open the windows, sounds silly but most apartment buildings you can’t
There is regular communications from the management team to the residence and social events to bring residents together (if they want to)

The area is great for local shopping and many different places to eat. It is easy to access the center of Birming be that on foot or by train and with the tram stop being close by when completed adds extra opportunity for travel
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Everything I wanted to know (and things I didn’t think i needed to know) were well communicated and shared from day 1
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
The combination oven/microwave is not the best and limits what you can do
Overall a good apartment with access to all the general necessities you would need.
The designs and facilities within the building are very modern and up to date, and upon viewing the apartment it was in very good condition. Considering the facilities within the building are up to date, it definitely feels like a safe and secure environment to live in. Also, the building provides multiple areas you could use to study or work in as well as a “cultural mixer” where you could socially gather with people in your building.

The area offers easy access to the Five Ways train station, as well as access to the Broadway Plaza which offers lots of leisure activities and a range of close by restaurants. Also, the presence of a Morrison’s grocery store near by makes it extremely convenient to pick up any groceries that you may need.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I would’ve known that there isn’t too much room in the bedroom to store my clothes and that there isn’t a mirror in the bedroom either.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Upon contacting different members of staff with any issues I would face, they are always very cooperative and friendly and willing to devote both time and effort to getting the issue resolved as soon as possible.
Perfect for all!
The reception/seating area on the ground floor of the building is very stylish. The decor and furnishing is modern yet sophisticated. There is a ‘mixer’ area to go and hang out with friends which includes a pool table. The building is always clean and well maintained. There is ample parking space, especially in the secure underground car park.
The apartment itself is of a good size. My only qualm when I moved in was the absence of a socket for my electric tooth brush in the bathroom! But this has been subsided by the fact that there are plenty of plugs throughout the rest of the apartment.
The management team is fantastic – always friendly and welcoming. They are approachable and happy to help out with any queries I have had.
Overall, the Lansdowne is a great place to live in. It is safe, well maintained, modern and perfect for all, whether a single professional, student or family!

The Lansdowne is situated in a great location and the following are some key points about living here which have been ideal for me:
1. There is a large Supermarket directly opposite.
2. A short drive away from the Mailbox shopping complex which is great for those of us who like shopping at Harvey Nichols!
3. The Bull ring shopping centre is less than a 10mins drive away – there are some fantastic stores including Selfridges,
4. There are numerous places to eat within a few mins walking distance – including Nandos which is a quick 5 mins walk away.
5. For those of us who prefer to order food in, there is a massive selection of places that deliver to this location on the food delivery service apps .
Also, the building is located within a short 10min drive from my place of work which is excellent!

Pleasant stay in The Lansdowne
These are great apartments in a great area. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open from 5.00 to 23.00 and are rarely crowded.

Great value for money
The design of the building is great, not just at the entrance and all the common areas but also inside each apartment with a simple but attractive design. The property management is super friendly and always willing to help in any way we can if you need anything at all.

Perfect place to live
A great place to call “home”. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The highlights of the apartment include the modern decoration and the high quality. The facilities are kept clean every day and the workout room is open, clean are rarely crowded. Everything was described properly prior to my moving.
What is the best feature of your home:
The apartment is always warm and sunny and I rarely have to turn on the heating devices even if it is cold outside.
High quality development.
The building is a high-quality development made of 410mm structural precast concrete segments constructed in a modular way. The insulation is part of the external wall when it was cast. The apartments are divided by 180mm modular precast concrete segments. The result of this is an exceptional quality of both heat and sound insulation between the street (which is quite close) and between different apartments on the same floor. This doesn’t sound like anything notable, but it is because precast structures are far higher quality and they cost more than cast-in-place. That is somewhat of a theme in The Lansdowne, in that there are far fewer cost-based shortcuts made than in traditional developments. Another example is that all of the power, water and ventilation equipment fully terminates in each apartment. This is rare in anything other than standalone houses. If you care about quality and control, this is the kind of building you are looking for. The tenants are quiet, the views are good and the building has good security with the professional 24/7 concierge.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
The area has plenty of amenities and is well placed with transport. The road outside the building is one way and busy, which means deliveries and taxi’s need to pay close attention in order not to get stuck in the wrong lane.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known there were no power outlets in the bathroom.
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
I would replace the main doors of the apartments with a more insulated and traditional plated steel door with sliding bolts.
A clean building with friendly concierge!
My room was previously occupied but was kept clean and tidy. And also communal spaces are always kept clean by cleaning staffs. They have friendly concierge, a nice gym, a communal spaces and stunning view.
They have a bus stop right in front of the building so you can get an easy access to the city center of Birmingham. Additionally, a new tram line is being under construction, which will enable you to get more access to anywhere. Finger-print identification secures us greatly! I believe it’s worth viewing once.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I knew you had a communal space before moving in but I thought it was like a place where people are chatting or sometimes drinking. But actually some residents are studying quietly in the communal area. It seemed really attractive to me students especially under Covid situation if I knew it previously.

Good building that can only get better.
Nice and new, cool modern design and very friendly staff. Fitness facilities are disappointing and lacking and should hopefully be improved.
personal experience at move in was also disappointing in that the apartment was not cleaned properly and the necessary repairs weren’t completed.

There is very limited storage space. Theres a large access of restaurants in the area.
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
better cooking appliance, combination oven isn’t good. also more storage space would be good as there is no shelving space for clothing. fitness facilities are severely lacking, and needs to be added too to qualify for what is advertised.
Great!
It is one of the best experience of living I ever had with many luxury facilities and all the friendly staff members.
Highly recommended!
