Great location, community and place to live!

Verified Resident

Review Date Sep 2022

Nice community of people and management arrange social activities every once in a while. We attended a summer, all expenses-paid, BBQ and a mindful crafting evening, again, with complimentary drinks and snacks. These led to truly wonderful afternoons and evenings mingling with other residents. Looking forward to and hoping for more!
Also, a couple of days before we moved in, we were told that unfortunately there had been quite an unforeseen leak in the apartment. However, they and the maintenance team worked effortlessly right up until we moved in to ensure the apartment was in fit condition for us, to which we are truly grateful.
My partner and I have already started the proceedings of renewing our lease and would highly recommend anyway looking for comfortable rented accommodation to at least go for a viewing!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Very desirable location. Close to the city centre, within reach of anything you could need. Lovely to be on the waterfront and a very nice private, secure location, away from the bustling nightlife, but close enough to easily join in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Say hi to the staff every once in a while. They are friendly and looking for resident feedback and input.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are quick to respond and deal with the issue.

The Keel is a lovely place to live, I always feel safe here with the 24/7 reception team on site. Free coffee downstairs at reception is also an amazing added benefit! Love it x

The keel have been amazing from the first day moving in

The keel have been amazing from the first day moving in. They helped us with moving our belongings in and ensured that we were given a tour of the areas. The team are always on hand 24 hours for any concerns. It is a safe area and all the staff are amazing. Reece and Alex have helped me and my flat mate numerous times and have always had a smile on there face, they spend time out of there day or night to have a chat and there is always plenty of laughs. When contacting reception they always answer and deal with any queries immediately. I couldn’t see myself living in any other accommodation and I love the team at the keel.

The reception area is always so homely and welcoming with a coffee machine on site and also quiet rooms which are available for people who are working from home or needing to have a peaceful place for meetings. There is an on-site gym which is very spacious and has lots of equipment. The outside areas are nice to sit with friends and always plenty of space to have a bbq in the summer.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The keel is in a perfect location at the docks with multiple shops within walking distance. There is plenty of nice cafes and restaurants at the docks, which is only a 5 minute walk. The area has always been peaceful and has no disturbances. The is parking for residents inside the gates of the apartments and always plenty of spaces on the outside for visitors.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The team ensured that they were responding straight away through email and sent videos of the apartment through as we were living in NI before moving! They gave us a full tour of the apartment area and ensured that we were aware of all of the facilities. Everything was explained well and the team helped with all concerns.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team always respond to problems straight away, when having an issue with out boiler system they had a team out immediately and it was fixed. No issue is ever a problem to them and they answer any questions in seconds.

Reece deserves recognition, he goes above and beyond

Review Date Sep 2023

Everything you could ask for. Staff are so friendly and Reece knows the answer to everything. He also has great taste in music and deserves recognition for all his hard work. Building maintenance is speedy and they always keep on top of things. Finance Department needs a calculator

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

On site parking is a massive plus, quiet area, but could do with a nearer corner shop for essentials

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You will be chased for money when you’ve actually already paid more than you owe

The Keel has fantastic property management. If anything is broken in the apartment, someone will be sent to come and fix it very quickly. All of the staff are friendly and approachable.
The gym is great and I also love having a coffee machine at reception to get a free flat white some mornings!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great area of Liverpool to live in, very close to Albert Dock where there’s plenty of nice bars and restaurants.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My apartment did get rather cold in the winter, but I think it depends which side of the building you’re on and how big the windows are. Also, the windows are all being replaced, so I think once the new windows are in it won’t be an issue.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had a toilet blockage and it was responded to on the same day and fixed super quickly, I was very pleased.

I love living at The Keel. I was made to feel welcome from when I came in to view the apartment. The staff are open, warm and friendly, and really take the time to get to know people. Repairs are dealt with really swiftly and efficiently and it’s completely pet friendly, so they welcomed my cat with open arms. They also work really hard to foster a sense of community and the other residents are really friendly. There’s a fab gym onsite and lovely outdoor areas within the development that you can enjoy the good weather, when we get it. It’s also really well located, close to Liverpool One, restaurants, bars, cafes and supermarkets.

I couldn’t ask for a better development to live in. It is always spotless, the people are lovely & the staff are fantastic. Notably Alex & Reece who are extremely helpful, make everyone feel welcome and always have a smile on their face. There’s also plenty of treats given to the furry friends!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Perfect location in Liverpool City Centre. 5 minute walk to the Albert Dock, 10-15 minute walk into Liverpool One, restaurants, bars, etc. It’s just enough out of the way to where it is always peaceful and quiet, even though it is right behind the arena. Absolutely perfect.

Exceptional Place to call home

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date Jun 2023

I’ve had the pleasure of residing at ‘The Keel’ apartments in Liverpool, and I am delighted to share my review of this exceptional living community. From the moment I set foot in the complex, it was evident that Reece, the Guest Service Consultant, and Annie, the Assistant General Manager, are truly exceptional individuals who excel at their roles.

Reece, with their warm and welcoming demeanour, ensured that every aspect of my stay was met with utmost care. Their extensive knowledge of the local area and willingness to go the extra mile to assist residents is commendable. Whether it was recommending the best local attractions or promptly attending to any requests or concerns, Reece’s dedication to providing exceptional service was evident throughout my time at ‘The Keel’.

Annie, as the Assistant General Manager, played an instrumental role in fostering a sense of community and ensuring that residents’ needs were met beyond expectation. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining a high standard of living were truly remarkable. It was evident that Annie is passionate about creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for all residents.

Beyond the exceptional staff, ‘The Keel’ apartments themselves are outstanding. The modern and well-designed units offer spacious living areas that truly feel like a home. The attention given to the maintenance of the apartments and the overall complex is apparent, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free living experience.

Additionally, the community amenities provided by ‘The Keel’ further contribute to the overall appeal of the apartments. The well-equipped fitness centre, inviting communal spaces, and secure parking facilities are just some of the features that make living at ‘The Keel’ a truly remarkable experience.

In conclusion, I cannot speak highly enough about ‘The Keel’ apartments and the remarkable service provided by Reece, the Guest Service Consultant, and Annie, the Assistant General Manager. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for residents create an environment that is second to none. If you are seeking a place to call home in Liverpool, look no further than ‘The Keel’ apartments for an unforgettable living experience.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Short walk to the main shopping area of Liverpool. Restaurants and bars on the doorstep not to mention the outstanding area always clean and with no noise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How bad the utility company is with replies and fixing issues with Water/Heating bills? This is no reflection of The Keel. They have improved since the telephone system was installed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues or problems are sorted out within a week. Fast service and no issue is too small or big!

Best place to live in Liverpool!

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date May 2023

Love the building! Apartments are lovely with a modern look. All our furniture has been recently upgraded (it wasn’t even bad to begin with but now it’s even more elegant!). The hallways are cleaned daily, as well as the lobby and the reception area. Coffee machine + selection of herbal tea is the cherry on top! Have to mention how convenient it is to have parcel lockers on site and a clean gym with all the necessary equipment. Also, the building is pet friendly! Just a great place overall!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is great! It’s central and very close to anything you might need (restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, museums, cinema, concert venues, waterfront, etc.) while also being a quiet and safe area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how addictive living here would be 🙂

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management have always been responsive to any issues we have had (not many!) The staff here is extremely helpful and committed to making your life as easy as possible. Thank you to every single one of you with a special shout-out to Reece, Annie, Alex and Neil! 🙂

Excellent location, quality facilities and a top-notch concierge team

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date May 2023

The place itself is fantastic (with 24h gym, stylish and well-furnished communal areas and of course very fast wifi) but it’s nothing without the brilliant concierge team who manage the property and look after residents. The whole team are excellent, but as an ex manager at London’s Hotel Café Royal, I’m giving special mention to Reece. His consistently high standards, undeniable passion for service and warm, problem solving nature make him a genuine asset to The Keel. He’s one to watch and is no doubt destined for great things in UK hospitality.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The Keel offers a location right in the heart of Liverpool, with access to excellent shopping, transport, bars and nightlife only a short walk away – but it’s also on a wharf so it’s quiet, peaceful and surrounded by water. It’s the best of both worlds. There’s zero traffic noise, great walks in the surrounding area and the communal bin area is so well-managed and convenient I have no idea when bin day even is, which is exactly how I like it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s a cool tequila and tacos bar ten minutes walk away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance is managed via a residents’ app and has so far been carried out quickly and with quality workmanship.

A great place to live in Liverpool!

The building is well-maintained and well-managed. The communal area in the lobby has lots of nice seating areas for socialising and working, and the gym is great. Everything is really well set out, which makes living here really easy and convenient. The staff really do an excellent job.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The Keel is in a fantastic location! It’s central and close to Albert Dock and the city centre, great restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, but it’s also quiet and peaceful. Parking is available right outside the building and is very convenient. It’s lovely being on the waterfront, too. We are new to Liverpool, and The Keel is the perfect location from which to get to know the city.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I really don’t think there is anything. We were provided with all of the necessary information before we moved in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management have been incredibly responsive to any issues we have had. They are extremely helpful and approachable. Anything that has gone wrong in the flat has been fixed right away. They all go the extra mile to help. We really enjoy seeing and chatting to Reece in particular. He showed us around The Keel when we were first looking at the building and the available flats, and he was so helpful in the process. He’s been great since we moved in, and it’s so nice knowing that he’s always there with a smile and that he’s eager to help with anything we need.
