Great place to live

The Keel is a lovely place to live. The apartments are clean and spacious with plenty of light through the large windows. The location is perfect with nearby access to the waterfront, shops and the city centre. There are excellent facilities including secure parking and a gym which has everything you need. The building management is absolutely brilliant. The staff are very friendly and always prompt and happy to help with any queries.

Great location - easy access to waterfront, shops and city centre

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing that I can think of, good location and place to live.

What is the best feature of your home:

Big windows allowing plenty of light even in winter. Also very spacious particularly the kitchen/ living room

We wouldn’t live anywhere else!

The whole team are wonderful, nothing is too much to ask for, but I must give a shout-out to Reece - he truly is an asset to the building management team! We love seeing him at reception on his shifts, so friendly, goes above and beyond for anything and the Keel would certainly not be the same without him.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

You cannot beat the location of the Keel. So close to the city centre with absolutely everything on your doorstep without all the city life noise. Beautiful location looking out onto the docks, cathedral or Mersey. Absolutely no issues with bin locations and collections, an on-site gym with plenty of equipment and secure gated parking at a very reasonable price, it would be hard to get it cheaper anywhere else!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues have been responded to and resolved promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We feel like we live in a detached house, not an apartment block. We don’t hear anything from our neighbours, the design and walls are brilliant.

The only place you should rent in Liverpool city centre

Flats are well sized and the design and walls allow peaceful living without hearing any neighbours. It is pet friendly which is so rare in rented accommodation even rarer in modern flats such as those in the Keel. The gym on site competes with any in town, inclusive in rent it is a money saver, very quiet and all the equipment you could ask for. There is also a vending machine on site as well as a free to use coffee machine - little perks like this I love. I will be sad to eventually move out of the Keel when I move to buy a house, I would buy the flat if I could! Reece is an outstanding member of the management team. He is so friendly and attentive, can always have a good chat with him, he is always eager and ready to help with anything and always enjoy seeing him around the building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have lived at the Keel for 10 years, and simply wouldn't live anywhere else in the city centre. If you look online for other apartments nearby, they are either extortionately priced and small or those that are cheaper are located in unsavoury places. The Keel location cannot be beaten, so close to everything you need whilst maintaining a peaceful quiet environment away from the hussle and bussle of the city centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had only one issue in the entire time I have rented at The Keel and it was swiftly resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We love the views from the top floor, you cant go wrong with either looking out onto the docks or across the Mersey. New year fireworks are always a treat watching from the comfort of our own flat - panoramic views across the city.

The development is very up to date and modern, the building staff are extremely friendly and always on hand to help with any issues, the other occupants are friendly and have never had any issues, no issues with noise. If there is ever any issues in the property the maintenance team is always quick the fix it

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shops a 10 minute walk away along with bars and food establishments, parking always available once you have your space allocated

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The maintenance team are always extremely quick and friendly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The water outage issues have been a reoccurring theme which you wouldn’t know with just a simple viewing

thinking of moving to a central, friendly apartment building - choose The Keel!

The management team are very helpful, if anything is reported they attempt to sort the same day but everything is always acknowledged. The windows are currently being changed throughout the building, which is a mammoth job, but the staff are ensuring the tenants are kept up to date with everything. The design of the building is easy to navigate as a converted HMRC building. The interior corridor paint jobs could do with a refresh but on the whole it is always clean and tidy, and the apartments are decorated lovely. Everything is new and cleaned, repainted and changed prior to new tenants so everyone is well looked after. We are huge fans of The Keel and all of the staff, everyone is friendly and so helpful. We moved from a 'typical' house into this apartment building and had some reservations but within an hour of our show around and meeting the management team we were so reassured. Annie, Andrew, Reece, Sara, Neil, Steven, Tom, Chris etc have been nothing but professional and welcoming and we can truly not thank them all enough for the seamless move and welcoming to the building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, local shops, bars and restaurants. Great for transport links, all very handy. Great and beautiful location right on the docks. Private and secure parking. Bins collected regularly. We genuinely love living here, couldn't recommend it enough in terms of facilities and location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very promptly, no concerns. A few cleaning issues were rectified quickly, and I had a question about a few soft furnishings but again all answered quickly and with kindness.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Embrace the community, everyone is friendly, they have gatherings and BBQ evenings, it genuinely is a community. We love it and feel we are quite antisocial people by nature but have really enjoyed the change.
