Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve only been back in Liverpool for about six months after living away for nearly 30 years, and I’d forgotten just how special the waterfront is. It’s become a huge part of my daily routine. I can head one way towards Otterspool or the other towards the new Hill Dickinson Stadium, with miles of uninterrupted riverside paths. Whether it’s a morning run, an evening walk or just sitting with a coffee watching the ships go by, the views across the Mersey to the Wirral are brilliant. I’ve seen it through winter, spring and now summer, and every season has something different to offer. Coming back has made me really proud of how far Liverpool has come, and living here has been a great way to reconnect with the city.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Overall, I’ve found the management team to be approachable and helpful. Whenever I’ve raised questions or minor issues, they’ve listened and done their best to help. Maddie, Sean and the wider team are a real credit to the building and make a genuine effort to look after residents. My only criticism is that some of the longer-term building issues, such as the reliability of the entry system and a few maintenance niggles, can take longer than I’d expect to resolve. Better follow-through on these would make an already good place even better.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The North building has the reception area. The parcel companies are lazy and deliver parcels to the North building. Seagulls are noisy in mating season! 🙄

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Literally the only downside about living at The Keel is it's location. While it's absolutely lovely living right next to the water, it does lack the availability of easy and quick access to a grocery store. It's not terrible (under 15 min walk), and it's a small issue, but every place has it's trade offs. Aside from this one thing, The Keel is a great place to live. It's quiet, the views are really nice, and the rooms are spacious. If you don't mind a longer walk to the grocery, this place is a great deal.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The response has been pretty much immediately. So much so, I missed the first email from them!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Again, the storage can be a bit lacking. The ceilings are very high so I feel like this could have been taken advantage of, but it's not. It is what it is though and a very small thing ultimately.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The keel is in a fantastic area. You’re so close to the water but within walking distance of the city Centre and the apartments at the Keel have amazing views of the water. There is everything you need within a 10 minute walk from convenience shops to pubs, an and it’s still a really peaceful place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, and as a result we are getting improvements made to the on site gym.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
South facing apartments get the sun all day, ending is great but in the summer can get quite hot!
Manager response

It's also great to know our team has been responsive to your feedback, and we're looking forward to the gym improvements. We really appreciate you sharing your experience. Kind regards Zoe

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We have lived at The Keel for just over a year now and we love it. Our flat is spacious and has been well maintained. The location is close to the city centre, but far enough away that it is peaceful. The site team are amazing - friendly, helpful and responsive to any and all queries. We feel so lucky that we can call The Keel home☺️
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They are always so amazing! They are quick to respond to any issues and are so caring and easy to speak too.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is very well located, with excellent access to public transport, making it easy to travel around the city and beyond. There is a good range of local shops, restaurants, cafés and bars within walking distance, providing plenty of choice for everyday needs and leisure. Despite being centrally located, the area is far enough from the city centre to remain relatively quiet, offering a good balance between convenience and peaceful living. There are also several nearby parks and open spaces for walking and recreation.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team has always been quick to respond to any issues or concerns that I have raised. Communication is clear and professional, and they keep residents informed about progress and any planned works. Problems are generally dealt with efficiently, and the team is approachable and willing to listen to feedback. It is clear that they are committed to maintaining the building to a high standard and are continually looking for ways to improve facilities and the overall resident experience.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I only wish I had found the Keel and the staff here sooner!
