The team at The Junction have been exemplary since day one. From helping us organise multiple viewings, answering all our questions no matter how big or small, they always helped in a prompt, professional and friend manner. India and Jamie in particular have been amazing with making our transition from our old flat to The Junction smooth and stress free! Along with this, the complex/community itself is outstanding: clean, well maintained, quiet, architecturally attractive and most of all - safe.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great area, close to shops and pubs and a 10 minute walk into town centre. Its also next to the canal so greenery is on your doorstep.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have helped in a timely and polite manner - no complaints.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I have no complaints, everything was explained to us in detail and all questions were answered.

A few design improvements required

I have stayed here for multiple months no so I have a good idea of what it is like to live here. Overall its a nice to place to stay with well designed apartments with nice furniture. The buildings are also well insulated with the flats being thermostat controlled so heating bills are reasonable. However there a few design issues which have become annoying overtime that could be addressed by management if they want to improve the residents experience: - The entrance doors to each building are not automatic. After swiping the fob you will need to manually open the door. This is highly inconvenient when bringing back shopping or large parcels. - There is no tablet outside each meeting room displaying the booking schedule, because of this it is impossible to tell whether the room is free or not. - Deliveries are often missed because the staff is temporarily away from reception. Couriers need someone present at reception in order to deliver and often times there is no one at reception to receive it. As its a relatively new building complex couriers don't know each building on the site so they will only go to reception. This results in a lot of failed deliveries.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located next to Wellington place, the viaduct provides a good walking link into the city centre. It is located next to a the A58 which always busy so there is some noise from this. Some buildings are closer to this than other.s

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues i have thus far have been addressed well and in time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The Uncle flat complex next door is currently building two new large buildings. The construction site produces noise throughout the day. This is less of a problem during winter as windows will be closed but it made the summer less pleasant. They look to be nearing completion now though. The monk bridge house building has two floors dedicated to short term lets. It is essentially a hotel, but this hasn't impacted my living experience there as it isn't at all noticeable.

Staff seem friendly and helpful

Building design is good although lack of pedestrian access to the car park is not ideal from my building, amenities are good, work space when remotely is good and social aspects are good. It would good to have gym on site as most other developments in this price range have. App is good although communication is sketchy finding out a lot of things if you ask rather than been pro-actively communicated to residents. Staff seem friendly and helpful

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Love the local area along the canal and close to the river. The local amenities are excellent On site parking is a plus. we have no issues with anti-social behavior

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded quickly although some issues outstanding as reported on the Inventory report

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How to use the EV charger for my parking space. Bike voucher and Travel card - never mentioned Lack of Pedestrian access to car park - i have to go through another block to get to my parking space

Need the gym!!!

Overall it’s very good! Love the management team and most of the facilities are good. I particularly love the communal area of block B. And the share kitchen, it’s very convenient and decent for gathering with friends. I also enjoy studying there as it’s more quiet

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The gym delay and delay again, I really think should give us some compensation about that. Probably can provide more parking space

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes. There was a time we run out of electricity, and sometime forgot to bring the fob, they were always helpful to solve the problem

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not really, everything was good. But I wish I can know the specific time when the gym will open

I've been living here just under 2 months and it's been a great experience. I love how comfortable and convenient things are. Everything is to a really high standard and is kept really clean. The staff have been so helpful from moving in to solving small issues

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is fantastic, I love living so close the canal and the city centre. I live close to where I work yet it feels like a away from the hustle and bustle of the city - it's a great mix!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mike, night staff, has been so helpful even coming to sort an issue at 9.30pm - he went above and beyond which helped me get a good night sleep

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the gym would not be ready - I was told it would be ready when I moved in but we haven't been provided a date.
