Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on High Street North, East Ham (E6 1FA) is a very urban, well-connected experience — it’s not quiet suburbia, but it has a lot going for it if you value convenience, community, and a lively local scene. Local Shops, Restaurants & Bars There’s a strong variety of local shops on and around the high street. You’ll find traditional corner shops, halal butchers, greengrocers, and small supermarkets, reflecting the diverse community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has generally responded quickly and professionally to any issues I’ve raised, keeping me updated and resolving problems in a reasonable timeframe.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how busy the area can get at certain times of day, especially with traffic and footfall. It isn’t obvious during a viewing, but it can affect noise levels and parking. I’d also say it’s worth getting familiar with the local bin collection schedule early on, as it helps keep things running smoothly. Overall, nothing major, but these small insights make settling in much easier.

One good aspect of this area is that it is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The neighborhood feels safe, with good lighting and regular security patrols. There are also convenient amenities nearby, such as shops, parks, and public transport. However, traffic can be heavy during peak hours, making commuting stressful. Additionally, the cost of living and rent in the area can be quite high compared to other places.

The building management has generally been responsive to the problems and issues I have raised. Whenever I report a concern, they usually acknowledge it within a reasonable timeframe.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t knew about the issues with parking as the building doesn’t has its doors own parking space.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

My local area offers many advantages, such as excellent public services, a strong sense of community, and good transport links. There are also plenty of green spaces and cultural activities. On the other hand, there are some drawbacks, including high living costs and occasional traffic congestion. Despite these issues, I believe it remains a very pleasant place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has generally responded well to any problems I’ve raised. When I reported issues such as a broken light in the hallway or a leak in the bathroom, they acted quickly and sent maintenance staff within a day or two. They are polite and usually keep residents informed about repairs or updates. Overall, I’m satisfied with how they handle concerns.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the parking situation before moving in. There are limited spaces, and they fill up quickly, so it would have been useful to arrange a spot in advance.
