Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is only okay. The place needs better cafes and restaurants. It also needs to be cleaned, more plants and better traffic control. The tube station needs a facelift.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yeah pretty quickly. Hard to fault. Nice people working in building management.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think more events were promised, so I think this is a bad thing.

Manager response

Hi Bruce, Thanks for the honest feedback, and for the kind words about our management team. We'll check the music volume, especially early and late in the day. We do run weekly events for residents, so we're sorry they haven't met your expectations. Thanks so much for recommending us, we really appreciate your feedback.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Plenty of businesses around, like supermarkets, restaurants and other needed businesses. Across the street from Blackhorse Road station which makes commuting so easy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Extremely quick response and issue always resolved within 1 day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nice community building opportunities and very welcoming neighbors.

Manager response

Thank you for such a great review! We're really pleased the facilities, shared areas, and quick issue resolution have made your apartment feel like home, and it's great to hear commuting from Blackhorse Road station and the local amenities are working well for you. We appreciate you flagging the laundry costs, and we're glad the community and welcoming neighbours have added so much to your experience. Thanks so much for recommending us!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Altham is a great spot , Blackhorse Road station (Victoria line + Overground) makes commuting into central London quick and easy. The area has a good mix of independent cafés, and easy access to Walthamstow Wetlands and the Mall for bigger shops. The street itself feels safe and well-kept, with no issues with noise, parking, or bin collections that I've noticed. It's a well-connected, up-and-coming part of London.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond very fast and with accurate information

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

More about the area around, what type of community...

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Blackhorse Road is one of the more convenient corners of Walthamstow. The Victoria line gets me to Oxford Circus in about 20 minutes and the Overground covers the east west trips. For food and drink the Blackhorse Lane breweries and taprooms are a short walk, Walthamstow Village and the market on Hoe Street are ten to fifteen minutes away and there is a decent supermarket run nearby for shopping. Open space is genuinely good with the Wetlands and the reservoirs are on the doorstep and Lloyd Park is an easy walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were timely responses and the management acted on my feedback quickly. I am quite happy with the quality and the speed of response.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Storage in a studio is tight so keep minimal stuff. If you work from home, the co-working space is better designed and I would recommend to use it.

Manager response

Hi Ambuj, thank you for such a thoughtful review, we're delighted the all-inclusive rent and coworking space have worked so well for you, and glad to hear our team responded quickly whenever you raised something. Your tips on storage and making the most of the coworking space are really helpful for future residents too. Thanks again for recommending us, it's much appreciated!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Safety in the evening, sometimes - but the building being close to the tube is a plus! Also not a huge availability of stores

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever I've flagged something, the management team have been quick to respond and easy to reach. Any maintenance issues have been sorted promptly - no chasing, no being left waiting around, which honestly makes all the difference when you're renting.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I'd clocked before moving in: the laundry. It's not a huge deal, but the costs do quietly add up over a month, so it's worth factoring into your budget rather than getting caught out. My tip for new neighbour.. batch your washes and you'll save yourself a fair bit.
